Baldwin Park Grill

Great food great environment. Will definitely be back soon. Had breakfast, the country fried steak and eggs for dinner. I like that you can order breakfast items for dinner.

i tried the full slab of the memphis «baby» baby back ribs, i was not thrilled. the meat was not good quality, the sauce was average, and nothing about them made me want more.
the restaurant is in a great location but it’s always empty when i drive by. the time i picked up the ribs, there were 2 other customers in the restaurant.
i am confused by the great reviews, i may need to give them another chance.

First time here and it wasn’t too shabby. Stumbled across it stopping at the post office. My big thing for breakfast first and foremost is always the coffee and it was pretty tasty. The first thing I noticed on the menu was a bagel and I’m a sucker for bagels so I was pretty happy about that. I then noticed the side of tater tots and hubby was pretty stoked, you can’t really get those anywhere so that’s a plus. I ordered the bacon and eggs with a bagel and I was not disappointed. The jukebox played a random variety of songs which was nice to have instead of complete silence like some places we’ve been to and the owner came over to greet us, thank us for coming and showed us his BBQ lunch menu which by the way sounds delicious. So if your looking for a good breakfast spot and if the lunch sounds as good as the breakfast tasted then check this one out.

It’s been 4 days since I was at BIG HOUSE BBQ. The sign outside still says BALDWIN PARK GRILL. I spent 4 days recovering from the food coma that I got from the Baby Back Ribs I got dunked with my favorite sauce, K.C. STYLE BBQ SAUCE.
I was there with my family of 3 on Sunday night. We wanted to take a chance with this restaurant and it
was so worth it. I normally get my Baby Back Ribs from either CHILLI’S or LUCILLES, but this new restaurant puts BBQ on my top list.
The BBQ was so delicious as it falls right off the bone. The waitress was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I wish I could have remembered her name to give her recognition for her awsome service.
The only part where we didn’t like is that the karaōke that was going on that night was a little too loud for us to even take our food order. I do enjoy watching people have fun singing karaōke but if they can just lower the volume just a bit so we can enjoy our dinner.
And now but not least I would definitely be back to enjoy so delicious BBQ.

one word. «IMPRESSED» this food is so good. You will not be disappointed at all. And customer service is so friendly. Gabriel is a great server.

as for your personal matters they are not an excuse for your treatment of people you do business with. I’m sure many of us have had personal tragedies without taking it out on others.

This new restaurant is clean, has a great menu, service and food. It is a culinary gem in a town that was vacant of fine dining. I was going to Duarte but the restaurants there are not as good as the Baldwin Park Grill.
The chain restaurants in Monrovia have solid menus, but there is nothing special about chain restaurants. The BPG menu has many of my favorite dishes. Also, I was getting my ribs from the Outback Steak House but the ribs are better at the BPG. I have finally found a place that isn’t dirty and I feel safe eating there.
For those that poo poo anything in Baldwin Park, you are missing out on a great deal.

Thought I’d take my lunch here today, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! The place is nicely decorated, and has a nice sound system. If you’d like to sing karaōke, they’ve got a spot for you on some nights!
I got the turkey club with garlic fries, and the meal did not disappoint! The fries are delicious, especially rare here in Baldwin Park. The toast on the sandwich was also scrumptious. Unfortunately, I had to cut my lunch short. I was sad to put my food in a take out box, but was looking forward to getting home at 5 and finishing my meal! I will definitely come again! Very friendly service, and comfortable environment!

Just got back from having lunch there with my mom and we were very happy with our food … Diablo burger was awesome!!! Spicy but such a good flavor! The customer service was perfect! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed especially since we love around the corner! :)

We visited this place for dinner recently. Having eaten at Juan’s on several occasions before their closing, we were curious to see how BP Grill matched up now that they’re occupying the old building. We were greeted warmly by three different staff members as we settled in. The menu was short, yet still had a good diversity of items– centered mainly around Classic American cuisine.
I tried the Merlot Meat Loaf entrée, which is served with potatoes that were more
puréed than mashed and sautéed vegetables. The merlot sauce was a bit over powering but manageable when eaten with the potatoes. The vegetables were just right. My mother and sister had the ribs and Mamas Fried Chicken respectively. No complaints there. Looking forward to coming back and trying some new items :)

Okay my wife and I tried this place. We were hopefull it would be as good as the place looks. My wife ordered a salad and was pleased with her food.
The service here was excellent, and they have outdoor seating. The were very dog friendly.
I ordered Mama’s fried chicken — I am not a fan of rosemary and this was overwhelmed with it. I simply could not eat it. I will have to try something else next time.

I ordered the Memphis baby ribs they were so delicious !! The sauce was great! I was really surprised with the prices it’s very affordable and the portions were hefty! The only complaint was the sauce on the islander ribs my boyfriend ordered it was pretty salty ! Other than that I can’t wait to go back! & try more menu items!

Nice place, newly opened, the food was delicious and on point, service was great, this place has a lot of future, my wife had the fried chicken and I had a burger, real good portions really worth it for the price, even the kids chicken fingers were bomb, the owner was really nice, overall a great experience, can’t wait to go back and try a different burger, Baldwin Park needed a place like this.

If you want something aside from the usual breakfast that Baldwin Park has to offer then look no further. This place has some excellent breakfast! I had the Kings Hawiian toast and it was insane! Great service, immaculate new interior and unique food make this a place I’ll come back to soon. Haven’t had dinner yet but will be back soon to see if I can award that 5^th star.

This is officially my new favorite place. The food is great!!! The service is amazing. Its such a nice environment. Compleatly recommend it 100% the prices are low considering the quality of the food!

I wanted to like this place soooo bad! Unfortunately, it seems as though no care was put into the food being served as well as the concept of the restaurant. Baldwin Park Grill is an «American”-grill-based concept with menu items such as Pot Stickers and Coq au Vin. I happened to come across a job listing on Craigslist for Baldwin Park Grill and included in the requirements for their line cooks is four years of experience. I would except anything in their kitchen to be delicious and satisfying if the kitchen staff was made up of employees fitting this criteria. Unfortunately, nothing I had was desirable enough to warrant a good recommendation or a return visit.
I did not ask if you were hiring, nor did I inquire about a job. I visited the restaurant on June 25^th with three other guests and we were not satisfied. Rather than assume I am trying to undermine Baldwin Park Grill, consider the quality of your food and your market. You can’t make everyone happy, we just had higher expectations.

First time here. Had the Island ribs and mashed potatoes. Bread pudding for dessert. It was all delicious! Plated perfectly, hot and fresh… will come back again!

The food is descent. The service is getting better. The prices are average. Most people in the area might not like the food because they are use to tacos and crappy burgers. This place has a variety of items on the menu.
