This place is never packed because it isnt that good of a place, the west covina one is definitely the best sizzler by far. I definitely recommend the west covina one.

This location is terrible. Tried to order take out from work twice. First time they forgot someone’s baked potato AND shorted another person by 6 shrimp. Second time got left to die on hold for 25 minutes. No reason to even bother with this location with all the other casual dining choices close by.

This place is bomb great food and good service steaks to die for and the burgers are awesome

I have to admit, I have not set foot in a Sizzler since I was, maybe, 8 years old so I was a little hesitant to go… But I really wanted a baked potato so I was going to bite the bullet.
I went in there with my boyfriend at around 2:30 in the afternoon and there was maybe 4 other people in there so it was a little scary but we went in and ordered. The ordering part was a little weird since instead of ordering at the table, we had to order first, pay at the counter and then go sit. Weird, but I guess now that’s how Sizzlers are?
Anyways, the service we received was excellent. The two girls who helped us (I’m guessing we came in between shifts) were so nice. Our water was refilled without asking and we were offered bread before we even asked for it at the beginning of our meal.
Our food came out, I got a 6oz steak cooked medium with half dozen shrimp and a baked potato and it was cooked to perfection. The baked potato itself was amazing since that’s the reason I went there. I asked for cheese on my baked potato which was done with no problem. My shrimp was cooked very good. I was scared to order seafood, even if it was only shrimp, since sometimes it tastes funky or it’s cooked awful. My shrimp was fried (since it was crunchy) and it tasted amazing. The coating on it was good, not soggy at all and was seasoned well. The meat was on the small side since it was only 6oz, but for me, that was good enough. My steak was a little chewy, but it was still good. My steak had a little too much pepper for my taste, but it’s still good and tasty.
My boyfriend’s burger was cooked perfectly and he loved the flavor of it. He forgot to ask to not have any lettuce, tomato or onion so he just had to take it off the burger. His fries were so good, I even stole one. They came out freshly made and seasoned perfectly.
Overall, it was very good! I can’t knock off a star because of my steak, it just wouldn’t be fair. I was pleasantly surprised, so much so that I would gladly come back.

This place sucks. Repeated instructions on order, why is it too hard to remember «baked potato dry «that it has to be repeated over and over. To top it off they refuse to accept AARP card that’s accepted at other locations. Won’t be coming back here

My husband and I have a new found love for Sizzler. We had not been to Sizzler in several years and decided to stop by. We’ve been back twice already and each time, the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Our favorite is the cheese bread. I mean, steak and unlimited shrimp for less than $ 20 bucks? Can’t beat that!
The food came out fast and considering that there was only one waitress working the floor during lunch hour, we were well taken care of. She was on it!
I highly recommend this Sizzler!

Chocolate sauce for the dessert is empty at 5:40pm — lunch has been down awhile ago and dinner just barely stated, maybe 5 families, dessert cobbler and bread pudding were empty, no one is managing the dessert area. Manager seemed to be more into showing her employees her Instagram or whatever video than take care of her customers needs. Then the dessert finally came out – the apple pie is not even done in cooking, they claim it’s «cooked» because they just forgot to put butter on top — then ITS NOT DONE! You deserved the 2.5 stars… and I told our server she’s too good for this restaurant and to transfer to west la where they care about their services And quality.

Poorly managed. The manager is nice but has no clue how to run a restaurant. She waits till AFTER all the food on the buffet is gone and now you have to wait till they replenish food.
Unfortunately I went before looking at the reviews and is my fault for coming here.

Horrible experience, I should have Unilocaled it before going… very empty so they should have good service… right? WRONG!!! My husband and I ordered the steak with all you can eat shrimp but the server never came back to our table. I couldn’t eat any more since my soda was empty and she never came back to fill my drink or ask if we wanted more shrimp but since her friends were in there she kept attending to them and checking to see if they needed anything… I walked out and I did not leave a tip due to that she didn’t deserve one… my husband even left his steak untouched there since she never came back to our table, I called the manager and she sounded like she wasn’t going to do anything!!! I wonder why it’s empty in there… bad service and mediocre food!!!

I have not ales ten here in such a long time, but I was surprised at how well the dinner was. I ordered the shrimp and steak skewers with French fires and rice. It was good and the steak was cooked just right. I was surprised that they also bring you complementary garlic cheese bread which was also yummy.

Sizzlers. What can I say?
Italian Herb Chicken Lunch Special — with a side of baked potato, which was disgustingly stuffed with a giant wad of butter. probably equivalent to two sticks of butter slabbed into the middle. The chicken itself? Dry, tasteless. I only tried a small cut of it, because I could feel the dryness while I was cutting it. Nobody else liked it as well.
Endless salad bar option — not much to choose from. What I did like was the fruit salad with the added sunflower seeds or whatever. It was pretty good. The fruit wasn’t that great or fresh, mostly canned. The make your own taco option is whatever. The meat was too salty.
Unlimited ribs — uhhhh, too dry for my taste! Though it was ok for being Sizzlers. My friends like the crispness, but having been to Phils BBQ. I’m afraid this doesn’t suit my standards for ribs.
What I actually did enjoy was the ice cream. Only one flavor available, vanilla. Surprisingly it didn’t taste like the «fake» ice cream usually found at most places with the AYCE ice cream machines. For example, Hometown Buffet.
First and last visit to any Sizzlers! Besides, who only has Diet Pepsi and no Diet Coke?

I used to frequent this restaurant regularly with my coworkers. We had a couple of very good servers, one in particular always made our group feel welcomed and absolutely serviced.
She didn’t have to, but she was super nice.
Wouldn’t you know it… She was let go. UGH.
No Fatima, NO MORE VISITS.

Haven’t been to Sizzler in years but came across this one by accident when the nearby Denny’s was too crowded and we were on our work lunch so no time to wait. Was impressed by the place, which was very open and roomy, not cramped like other sizzlers I have been to. Salad bar was fresh and good selection of food like tostadas, soups, tacos, etc. Waitress at counter was nice and waiter who served us kept checking to make sure we were okay and brought us extra cheese toast. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

UGH!!! NEVER GO HERE … West Covina Sizzler much better in service and most importantly FOOD

Well taken care of nice management and a good server named Moses, I recommend steak and Malibu chicken. for the price you pay, you get more then enough to satisfy your needs

Pretty awful. As you’ll see in many of the reviews, even when you point a simple mistake, they somehow make it *worse*.
I would avoid under all circumstances.

DISGUSTING!!! HORRIBLE!!! RUDE!!! Just a few words that sums up this place. I never usually write reviews unless I had a really good experience or a very bad experience so that should help tell you where this is going. They don’t deserve any stars not even half! But the only way to right a review is to rate them so unfortunately I have to give 1 star in order to post this. If anything they deserve the middle finger as their rating!
So my grandma and I came here for lunch to celebrate both our birthdays. We got the salad bar since there’s a variety of things to get. We also love their cheese bread that they serve and always ask if they can toast both sides. So they brought 2 slices over which came out fine. When my grandma asked for some more little did we know what we were going to find in it. Good thing I looked at it before I just took a bite of it and ate it, because this time there was a black PUBIC HAIR on the top!!! I literally gagged and wanted to throw up! I know some might think it might have been a hair from the chefs arm or beard, BUT regardless where it came from it should not have been there! But I swear it was no arm or beard hair! I know what I saw and it was a freaking PUBIC HAIR! You could even see the white tip like it was from the root! Sorry to be so descriptive but that’s how disgusting it was!
I was so disturbed and disgusted by this that I asked to speak to the manager. This little Indian or Armenian lady came out already with attitude and said they will make me a new batch. Really?! Like I can eat after seeing that esp. there! I told her I didn’t want a new batch and that I lost my appetite because of how disgusted I was! I told her I wanted my money back since my grandma and I did not get to finish our food. She started to give me attitude as though this was my fault and said that was not their policy so I said serving pubic hair in your food is though?! She said she would not refund me so I made sure to let everyone that was in there know what happened. It would’ve been different if she came out and apologized for what happened but she didn’t even say sorry or that she is embarrassed that this happened and will make sure it will never happen again. She came out like this wasn’t the first time she heard this complaint which is even more disturbing. I will NEVER step foot in that restaurant ever again for not only finding pubic hairs in my food but for the lack of customer service. To top it off I found out that she happens to be the owner!!! Figures!!!
So unless you enjoy PUBIC hair in your food and rude owners then this is the place for you! This franchise should be put out of business!

Great service here! Denise is my favorite server. She is always so friendly and helpful and is one of the reasons why our family likes to attend.
Food is good too.
We have been coming here for years and my kids always enjoy the salad bar.
I’m glad this Sizzler hasn’t closed like the others…

HORRIBLE!!! My first time writing a review. Walked in & wasn’t crowed so my family & decided to go ahead & eat here.
Garlic cheeses bread barely had flavor & salad bar 80% of salad bar items dried out or wilted. Chicken was good tho. shrimp platters tasted freezer burnt & no seasoning. Bake potatoes probably from the previous day. Water was tap & tasted like dish water. So I just ordered a soda to fix that & got the soda & it was flat.
We complained to the waitress she called her manager (aziza) over rite away. The manager came to the table with an attitude. We asked to take the 2 items that where not good she says we don’t give the money back that’s sizzlers policy. I asked to see the policy & then she told me it’s her policy & if continued to ask or speak bad about the food to others customers she would call the police. She said she had better things to do than to deal with this. Refused to give me the corporate number she told me to find it.
Customer service can go long way whether good is bad or good & this was CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HELL & Food was NASTY!!! I refer NO ONE G

I haven’t been to a sizzler in almost 2 decades, I think. I can’t remember exactly, but I am pretty close.
Anyway, I was trying to offset some of the unhealthy foods that I have been eating in the past week and go for salad. I like to eat, so all you can eat salad is right up my alley.
This was a nicely renovated location and reminded me of the new Coco’s restaurants in terms of the stones on the outside and the atmosphere. I didn’t know where to go, once we got inside. A manager was speaking to a couple by the entrance, and I just stood around for a bit with my buddy. The cashier was busy helping someone, so we just walked up there and ordered 2 all you can eat salad bars with 2 drinks.
I liked the layout of the salad bar and missed the Mexican food bar too. They had nacho chips, beans, ground beef, pork, melted cheese, and more. I made some nachos with the beef and pork, nacho cheese, and jalapenos.
I had a cup of coffee and a salad too. Everything tasted good, but I had to flag down someone to give me coffee. That part was the reason for subtracting one star. The other thing was that my stomach was messed up for 48 hours afterwards. Gassy to say the least.
