Guadalajara Grill

This place was good but in regards to the food nothing compared to La huasteca in lynwood the food rhere is more authenrtic the dancers and mariachi are ok aswell very entertaining the restairant is very elegant and nice. You will have a good time but to me my taste buda prefer la huasteca more mexican food and more variety

Prices sadly are the basis for the 2 stars. Great food. Service could be better. Mariachi was the highlight!

This place is cool. They have mariachis and Folklorico dancers! I came on a Sunday so not sure if it’s every day. They have a brunch buffet on the weekends with so much food to choose from. They make fresh omelettes and tortillas. They also have your traditional breakfast items like chilaquiles, menudo, Machaca & so on. I like coming here on special occasion its fun.
The only thing I don’t like is how their reservation system is set up. If you have a reservation at 9, right when it opens, you are all just huddled up by the front door. There’s no «line» or separate entrance. It was really hard making your way through the bum rush with your group when your name is being called.
Overall, the food is average. It’s not bad but it’s nothing spectacular. It’s what you would expect of a buffet style restaurant but I do see them bringing it out fresh and switching it out so that good. The staff is nice and attentive. They also take a picture of you lol you only get the lil postcard style one free with all their advertising on it. The other nice big 5×7 ones are not free. :/​Lol

This is an awesome place to hangout with friends during the evening. We had a fairly large group. We only waited for about 5 minutes while they got our tables ready as people were finishing up. The manager of the night was very accommodating and the servers were awesome. The manager and server frequently checked in with us and provided great recommendations on drinks and menu in general. We ordered various plates and did a family style so we can try different things on the menu. Good Value!

Came to this place for the first time and it was better than what I expected it. Food is great, entertainment is wonderful on a weekend. My wife and I ordered the molcajete supremo and it was delicious. Service could be faster but then again it gets so full that I guess it’s expected. But will plan on coming back again soon

This place was too loud! The food was overpriced and not very good. I only liked their beans and spicy mango drink.

Live mariachi, good food and great drinks, a place u should go. I live in the valley and make the drive here, staff is super attentive and will not disappoint

Ladies & gentlemen, I gave this restaurant a 1 star rating due to the HORRIBLE customer service from the employees & the owner. Really bad customer customer and I would hate to give the owners money in their pockets due to their lack of concerns for their CUSTOMERS. Do not dine here. Dine somewhere else where they actually care about their customers please. Plus I saw a shared facebook post of them towing cars after cars of people who were actually dining inside the restaurant like who does that? The owner is cricket

NEVER EAT AT GUADALAJARA GRILLE I never post any bad complaints but today I am. I took my wife for a pre-​mothers day breakfast at Guadalajara Grille in Baldwin Park around 9am. we go inside and eat and the people next to us said LOOK they are towing cars away. i go outside and they are towing my truck. The owner of the restaurant and the tow truck company said because its private property for restaurant. But i told him i was inside. OH they said. Not even an apology. I said i was leaving, the owner said make sure you pay your bill first! The rest of the cars that were towed away were TEACHERS of Baldwin Park having a conference in the Marriott Hotel. None of them were told they couldn’t park in that lot but were told to read a sign (LOOK BELOW) unfortunately the teachers had to pay a $ 100 un hook fee, teachers that teach our kids! The owner didn’t care as did the lady from the tow yard. Look at the sign, it doesn’t specifically say no parking there for anything.

Bad service and bad food. Very unorganized. I wouldnt reccomend coming here. Rather go to taco bell than to come here again. They are also very rude

Food is bad i dont think it was fresh made there plus its expensive. Want good authentic mexican food go to Uruapan on ramona

Friends and Family living in Baldwin Park. This morning, while attending a mandated district training at the Marriott, the Guadalajara Grill decided to tow our vehicles from a parking lot shared with the Marriott. This was a very short sited idea on their behalf. If not for our Union, district and BP PD, many cars would’ve been towed. With Mother’s Day coming, I would STRONGLY encourage you to go elsewhere to show your patronage and support the local teachers of Baldwin Park!

Cinco de Mayo!
I called to ask what time they closed, she says let me ask I’ll be right back. She picks up & says 10:30pm. We show up at 10:05pm & they tell us «sorry the kitchen is closed.» I told the lady, which I’m sure she’s the one I talked to on the phone that I was told 10:30. She says sorry there’s nothing we can do. I was offered to sit in the bar, which I was ok with if I was able to order appetizers or anything they had available. But again, was told there’s nothing we can do. I’m very disappointed with this so called customer service. Maybe that’s why they only have 3 stars. I’ve worked in customer service for over 15 years, & clearly they have had zero training or expectations when it comes to satisfying customers.

Visiting from Laurel, MD we don’t have good authentic Mexican restaurants. The staff is friendly & I was impressed how good the rice and guac dip was. Back home when you order guac the bottom is layered with lettuce, here you get the whole bowl and it’s homemade. Also, Fri — Sun they have Miriachi entertaining and they are muy bueno. Before I head back east I’ll eat here for a 3^rd time in 6 days. DELICIOUS!!!

First time here for buffet. If you want to eat authentic Mexican food here’s the place! Everything is delicious great price and quality for buffet. Staff is friendly and attentive, always came to check up on us and let us know when buffer was closing down, will definitely come back.

Came here on a Friday night with the family for a nice dinner, the place is absolutely beautiful. I was excited to be greeted by mariachi music which was nice, the food was honestly very over priced. The drinks were okay priced but the service could’ve been better, 214 for five people and not one of us is satisfied… I will definitely NOT return

Yo kisiera ponerles cero estrella la berdad yo fui anoche tarde en entrar 1 hora la comidad esta muy mal para dar de comer se tardaron 1hora mas pedimos 4 molcajetes estaban todos salados Los frijoles mantecosos y para las tortillas te niamos ke esperar, por ultimo los baños estaban bien sucios y una cola para entrar y todo muy caro eramos 6 personas y pagamos casi $ 400,00 dollars

The restaurant itself is pretty clean but feels somewhat crowded.
The food was okay. The portions were generous but the food wasn’t anything special. Definitely overpriced!
The service was exceptional. The waitress passed by about every 20 mins and asked our table of 12 if we needed refills, napkins, etc. She was great and friendly, which is always a plus!
Now the mariachi, in my opinion, was nothing special either. The singing is okay but they just did not interact with each other and much less the guests. In addition, I know a mariachi is typically loud, but it was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation with someone sitting next to me.
Based on the reviews I had seen, I was excited about going to this restaurant. However, my experience was pretty disappointing.

Food was good, not the best, but good worthy of 3 stars (rarely do I give a 5).
The Mariachi is good, doesn’t play for too long at once, but came out a second time. Perfect amount of mariachi while dining.
Service ok, nothing really to talk about.
Price, too expensive for what you get. Of course, someone had to pay for the live music.

I’ve been here many times with coworkers, family and friends. It’s a buffet, so we need to be realistic. The food averages from okay to pretty good to not so good. They have a good amount of food to choose from which they refill often.
Things I liked: chicharron, home made tortillas, tacos, fruit (ya, I know)… Maybe a few other stuff I can’t think of right now.
Things I didn’t like: any of the desserts, any of the soups (NO flavor), some of the hot food.
Overall, I still would come back. Service is always excellent and they take your finished plates quickly.

I finally had the opportunity to come out to Guadalajara Grill after so many years of wanting to eat here.
I’m writing this review before leaving the restaurant to dispel all of the bad Unilocal reviews about this restaurant.
First, the service was excellent! Our server Librado was attentive and friendly. Second, the food was very good. All of my children enjoyed their food and they are huge critics and hardly ever agree on anything.
I had the carne asada sopes. The flavor of the meat was excellent and the sope was soft. The beans and rice were excellent. My son had camarones endiablados. The quality of the shrimp was excellent and the spice was on point. The hubby had the steak fajitas and he was thoroughly enjoyed them. Again, it was true skirt steak, nothing cheap here. The home made tortillas were very good.
Third, the entertainment was great! Worth every penny of the somewhat inflated food cost. It wasn’t just some Mariachi show, there was traditional dancing and it was so much fun to watch.
I will return. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this place. But I’m glad we didn’t take them too seriously and came here instead.

La comida esta super, llena de sabores como los de mi ama. Omar el mesero — un cuate a todo dar (muy atento) lo rêcomindo muchisimo.

Me gusta mucho el buffet los dias domingos… Y acompañado de un buen mariachi… Lo recomiendo a lo visiten,. La comida esta muy rica. En el buffet ponen de todo. La comida y todo esta muy fresca… Me encanta este lugar

a mi me gusta viajar mucho de san francisco a los an geles. pero tuve una muy mal esperiencia. me gusta visitar este lugar por su buffete de los domingos, por su comida tienen muy, buena variedad de comida, y el servicio de los meseros es excellente .pero todavia no terminavamos de comer cuando el mesero nos hiso saber que nos teniamos que desocupar la mesa prque tenian otras reservaciones, y nosotros solo estubimos sentados po solo una hora que para un bufete no es tanto tiempo yo nunca regresare a un lugar don de no les importa que las personas se sientan bien solo por que quieren hacer dinero coriendo las personas
