Me and my girlfriend went in since we know Sinaloa is known for really good food. We were not dissapointed, we went in for two tortas cubanas, one milanesa, and two asada tacos and we ordered some horchata drinks as well. The horchatas are served in this huge jug cup and its beyond the freshest and most delicious horchata you can taste around in SGV. Tortas were spot on, waitresses were helpful and all in all it was a very good experience. I have since then gone two more times and will be going back in the future. ! A+

My boyfriend and I stopped by next door to buy some Chinese food and stopped by after to get some fruit water because their fruit water is so delicious. We walked up to try to taste some Fruit water. The lady working there was really rude and told us to go wait in line… then we go wait in line and there’s a huge line. Everyone was just standing around waiting. Nobody cared to take customers orders, all the employees were just so careless talking and not doing their job. My boyfriend and I were waiting for 5 minutes standing around like idiots no one ever approached us. We walked out and left. Never going back to this place. All the girls are stuck up and have attitude and don’t care about customer service. They really need more employees and be more polite to customers.

My girlfriend and I wanted to buy some fruit water and when we walked up to where you get served the lady was rude and asked us to wait in line where the cash register is to pay first. Every time I’ve come here I get the waters first and then pay but no big deal. What really got me mad is the wait and the same lady that told me to wait in line was busy. Everyone was waiting in line to pay or order. I even saw people seated waiting and waiting and waiting. I highly recommend they hire and get more organized in serving people. I got so inpatient and frustrated that I decided to leave.

Idk where even to start. I know a lot of people come here because if their«great» selection of tortas and aguas frescas. However, the quality of their tortas are below average. I ordered torta number 25 and wanted to order a natural juice(pineapple and orange). It was 1120am and thought it wouldn’t be an issue to get one. The server left with our order(number 25 and 51 with the shared jugo natural), she later came back to inform us that the fruit delivery wasnt here and was unable to make us our drink. We then went to order a Jamaica. She shortly then came back to notify us that they do did in fact have have a piece of pineapple they found in the back. I was not pleased to hear that i would be drinking old fruit so still opted to drink the jamaica. The jamaica is not brewed here, its the stir in kind you find at any supermarket and dissolve into water. Shouldnt a place that prides itself on serving smoothies, aguas naturales, and jugos naturales de fruta make its drinks naturally and fresh? The food came. My 25 was milanesa based. I would say about 50 to 60 percent of the meat filet was fat or nerve disguised by meat breading. I didnt enjoy it at all and was thrown off by it. I didnt finish my torta. My bf however, enjoyed his torta. His number 51 is mostly meat and even didnt mind finishing my torta. He doesnt mind the fat in the milanesa. We had a discussion about the quality of the meat: he says it doesnt matter that the meat has fat but that its good. I on the other hand say if it contains about 50 to 60 percent fat and nerve content, is it really meat? I do not recommend this place. Their customer service isnt great. Our server came once and at the end of our meal to ask us if we needed anything else, we said no, she gave us our check, and left abruptly. She didnt seem to know what was going on in the restaurant and was confused by our order. I am not pleased by this place at all. Oh and btw, their salsas taste like goop. Completely flavorless and goopy, kinda like how i imagine Nickelodeon slime tasting. No.

This is the worst service I have ever received. Seems everyone is too busy to help anyone. Went in for a to go order. Finally decided to ask about my order after waiting 20 minutes. Girl that helped me says I’ll check on it, but instead she helps someone else. She goes to the back and finally looks towards me and says she has my order then says no wait I think«they» got it wrong or gave her the wrong item. Sorry but if I place a to go order it’s because I have places to be! So I just told her to cancel my order and she says wait let me see what else your order needs only to find out that now after 30 minutes on a Togo order the cooks never even started it!!! Worst service and not even a sorry about that all she says is I’ll give you your money back. Will never step foot there again! By the way even people dining in look upset as everyone seemed to be waiting! This place seriously needs better management and to get there stuff together!

The tortas here are like grilled cheese sandwiches dialed up to 11. Your choice of melted cheese, ham, bacon, avocado, carne asada, pulled pork etc etc between two thin crunchy toasted buns. I love how they have salsa dispensers at each table(basically maple syrup dispensers filled with salsa). Pour some over your fries, you might like it! They also have a huge row of freshly made juices — jamaica, horchata, lime, watermelon etc etc. This is really one of those places that you stumble upon and end up being pleasantly surprised

One star for the agua frescas, one star for the service, zero for cleanliness and zero stars for the torta de asada. They should call it aguas Sinaloa because that’s all that’s good at this place.

Who serves carrots n jalapeños as an appetizer, what happened to the traditional tortilla chips with salsa! The tortas have 2 much cheese n no meat, it’s just not worth the price, u have to try Taurinos in LA puente that’s real tortas even Alfredos is better than sinaloa tortas, one more thing they get a D in cleanness,

Did not disappoint, tortas were so good. Apologies I forgot to take a picture, once I got my torta it was over … Totally recommended, fresh fruit water. Torta de lomo and sinaloense.

Just to start off I want to say that I actually do love Tortas Sinaloa. My favorite is the Sinaloa Especial. I love the flavor, i love everything about it. But the reason for the 3 stars is because honestly their customer service kind of sucks. When its really busy be prepared to wait a long time. My 3 star rating this time is because last week my son was in the hospital, but we were really hungry and thought, «hey! its a sunday and we are gonna go home today, lets go get some tortas and we can eat back at the hospital!». So I dialed them to place an order. I called right before i drove of from Azusa, and as soon as they answered a girl told me to give her one minute she was just gonna charge a customer and thats it, so i said ok! That minute passed, and then another one, and another one, and another one, and another.(felt like dj khaled) jaja. So i basically drove all the way there, and no one ever answered. I was kind mad. because i drove for almost 25 minutes, and i was still on hold the whole time. I got to Tortas Sinaloa, and still waited in line, ONHOLD! waited another 15 minutes just to get to the front of the line. As soon as i got to the front of the line, i asked the girl if they took phone orders. She said yes! and this is when i said. «well i would like to make a phone order please since I’ve been on hold for almost 45 minutes just to make and order». She looked down to the phone and it was still on for the whole time. All she said was«its because its busy, i don’t know who put you on hold.» She was the only one at the register, and the rest are waitresses, and there was not a lot of people there, they just talk to each other a lot. But i do hope they find out who it was! –_-. really? it was her by the way. Anyways, thats my reason for my 3 stars. A little funny i guess in a way, but i was kind upset. lost a lot of time. but other than that, give it a try! and see how it goes

Literally the best horchata on the planet. This place is always packed, and I understand why. Come for the tortas, stay for the aguas frescas.

I was in the area and I decided to try this place. The food pictures looked good on Unilocal so I had to try it. We started by ordering aguas frescas which are Mexican juices made with mostly fruit and sometimes grains. One of my friends ordered a fruity lemonade with strawberry and cucumber. It was very delicious, my other friend ordered horchata which is soaked rice, cinammon and milk and it is then blended with some condensed milk or sugar, I ordered cebada which is a barley drink. I have no idea how it’s made but I love it. So time for the main dish, the tortas. My friend ordered a carne asada torta with habanero and grilled jalapeño. I couldn’t try it! I’m not that much into spicy food. She didn’t like the meat because she said it was too bland and all the flavor was in the pepper. I ordered a torta de pierna which is made with shredded pork loin, it came with melted cheese, avocado, picked onion, lettuce on tomato. So this was disappointing. Sinaloa Mexico is famous for these tortas and this one did not meet the expectations. First of all, the meat was bland, it needed some salt or pepper. It didn’t have mayo. Who makes a sandwich without mayo? It supposedly had avocado cream but only on one side and on part of the torta. It should have had it at least on the whole piece of bread. So I asked for a side of mayo and they forgot to bring it so I had to ask again and they brought it. It wasn’t that busy. This place all kinds of tortas with a lot of different ingredients, mine were ok. In my opinion, it’s more about the qualify of one ingredient instead of piling on a whole bunch of stuff. The aguas frescas were good. I would eat here again if someone invited me but I would not make the 30 min drive from my house.

The very best place to go if you are craving tortas. I have tried the Fontana which is carne asada, avocados and panela cheese. I have also tried the Chilanga which is milanesa, chorizo with avocado. I usually call in my order if I will not be dining in. Other great things to try are the aguas frescas, they are all good, I have had the coconut and the watermelon.

I was craving a torta the other day and my friends recommended this place. Now I know they’re not my real friends. I ordered a torta and I was served a panini. For anyone who knows what a real torta is, you know that tortas must always include these three ingredients: Beans, queso(preferably queso panela) and avocado, those are key ingredients to making a torta, otherwise you just made a sub, a sandwich, a cemita or a panini. What they sell here are not tortas, they’re paninis! I’m assuming that they’ll add those ingredients at an extra cost if requested, but it shouldn’t have to be that way. One more thing, their«tortas» are small! It’s like a kids meal size. Their drinks are good but expensive compared to other Mexican places. Their salsas are weak, Mexican places should always have at least one hot sauce that makes you want to scream«AJUUUAAAA!!!» Restrooms are dirty and service is slow. Note: Other ingredients a torta should have are: Onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise and chiles curtidos. Those are also must must haves for me, but some people opt out on them. Tip: If you want to eat a torta that is closer to what a real Mexican torta should be, you have to go to El Gallo Giro. FYI: Sinaloa is not known for tortas to begin with, tortas are originally from Mexico City. That might explain a lot.

This place was awful… I’ve been there before and enjoyed it. They must have changed management, because I never want to go again. As you entered there was a strong chemical smell. I saw a waitress cleaning the walls. That detergent shouldn’t be used in a restaurant. It was bad! My son and husband went to the bathroom and said it was GROSS! I should of walked out right there!!! I didn’t. I ordered 3 kid meals and carne asada burrito.\ Kids meal come with a drink. The lime drink was obviously sitting all day. it was not fresh at all. The carne asada tortas were not better. The meat had obviously been sitting for a while it was dry and hard… some what burned(constant reheating). My kids scraped off the meat and ate the refried beans. The burrito was awfulll! The beans were dark and dry. I know pinto beans are darker beans, but these were beyond dark. If they would of been juicy, maybe it would of been ok, NOPE! Dry dark beans… To top it off the meat was also dry. Dry dark beans with Dry Dark meat… YUCK! the best part of the burrito was the tortilla. It was yummy. NEVER going back to this place

The Good: They are known for their natural juices and with reason. Great even if you come in only for that. Their sandwiches are pretty good. The Bad: They don’t take credit cards. Only cash or debit which SUCKSMAJORLY. Really what company doesn’t accept credit these days it’s dumb. Parking is crappy. You share it with McDonald’s, Home Depot, Starbucks, Guadalajara Grill AND a questionably located Marriott hotel. Really Marriott? Baldwin(car theft central) Park? The Ugly: When you’re eating and your realize like many sit down Mexican food restaurants they hire their servers more based on appearance than skill and you feel like an absolute pig for supporting that sort of horrible habit with your business. The Summary: Good change of pace for lunch. The place is clean. There are TV’s and a jukebox. The tables are spaced out well no elbow to elbow crap. If you’re tired of Denny’s give this place a shot. If you have a jealous significant other… pass it by.
