Birrieria El Compadre

Huevos Rancheros plate is delicious. The sauce is so good and flavorful. The chorizo con Huevos plate is good too. Great! Cold horchata, the best. Overall, this place is good.

Birrieria El Compadre is a cozy little spot just seconds from the 10 freeway. They serve really great Birria… and, AND… with the Birria combo you are offered a choice of store bought OR handmade tortillas???

They make great looking burritos, tacos, and tortas as well. Perhaps when I’m feeling dangerous & want to pass up the savory, delicious, tasty lamb stew known as Birria, I will try those other items! But for now, and a very long time to come, I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Compadre Birria. It is very authentic… estilo No Pos Guau, Mexico!!! :-P
P. S. I had some today (09÷04÷15) at breakfast time… and at around 7 PM decided to call & ask if they still had some left over from the day — they DID… so I went all out and had their Birria for dinner as well. WOOT!!!

I rate them 2.8 out of 5 overall but there birria is worth coming back for. Birria alone I give them 4 out of 5.

Good Birria, they have it everyday, not just weekends, cheap and good, plus customer service is good, place looks clean. I would Definitely recommend this place, next time Tacos.

This place is really close to my house and after my boyfriends mom said it was good I decided to try it. The area is pretty sketchy and the place is not fancy at all. It’s a whole in the wall type of place but the tacos are really good. My favorite was the pastor !!! I really loved the beans to. Prices aren’t bad either I got the taco special which comes with rice, beans, and 3 tacos for 5.99. Lady at the counter was very friendly and greeted us promptly. Definitely coming back ! Even better is that they have an A rating despite the outside look

Even though my girlfriend lives right around the corner she insisted that we drive there. So after about a 2 minute drive to this location, I was famished.
She complain that there was a funky smell. But I can recall from my youth, it was the smell of the mop that needed to be changed.
Anyways, food was good, prices was cheap for what it was. I got the mini asada tacos.

Well the economy has driven up the prices but its still all good!

The food is the tastiest around!
The prices are the cheapest around! 75 cent tacos.
everything is fresh, fast, and big portions. The sauce that the burritos are covered with is wonderful. I am always satisfied.
The combos are like $ 4.25 each. The owner is always very nice and hard-​working. The dining room is small but it’s clean and it’s a little mexican food joint-​nothing fancy. Just pure deliciousness!
