Dry Clean Express

I took a few pieces there that needed to be tailored. I made it clear when I first walked in that I wanted to know the price to tailor each piece before I can decide on which to actually tailor and which to hold off on. Out the 5 pieces I took (which I had already marked how much I wanted to take in/​shorten) I decided to only tailor 3. The lady told me to take my stuff and find another seamstress because it wasn’t worth her time to tailor only two pieces! I still don’t understand what that meant since she is getting paid per piece, whether I tailor one or ten. I was extremely polite, did not need her to take any measurements etc, and I basically got kicked out and asked to take my stuff elsewhere. I took my clothes to a dry cleaner/​seamstress on Fleet and Eastern who quoted me a better price and was nice to me.

Great dry cleaner. Closed on holidays, so remember to pick up your items the day before your sister gets married!

This place absolutely rules and is the only dry cleaning service in Downtown Baltimore that I’ll use for custom tailoring.
Their hours are great, the service is terrific (women are just a treasure, especially Mimi), they use organic standards, turnaround is quick, and the prices are very fair.
In addition to the above, as had been previously suggested, their tailoring services are exceptional. I’ve used several other shops downtown before finding this gem (Fed Hill Cleaners, Park Charles Cleaners, Fells Point Cleaners, and Dry Clean Express – Boston Street), but no one quite hit the mark like these guys.
As such, I’ve had 3 blazers and about 6 pairs of pants tailored over the last ~1+ years and have never received anything that wasn’t just terrific.
Highly recommended.
A Few notes:
— Parking can be somewhat tough but typically there is street parking on Broadway
— I believe there is a minimum credit card transaction of $ 15 or $ 20 (don’t quote me, just know there is a minimum charge).
