First off they were out of almost all smoothies, out of waffles, no silverware. Didn’t want to give us a refund for not having the waffler sandwich. Coffee was supposed to be iced but received it hot. Ordered a bagel and cream cheese instead of the waffler sandwich and then got a everything bagel with egg in bacon instead of the bagel and cream cheese we ordered. Strawberries not fresh in fruit cup. Raspberry smoothie which was not on the menu was good. Eggs whites & roasted veggie wrap was not made as described but was good. Western breakfast wrap was good. Not recommended & not coming back

2 stars seems a bit harsh for a clean, friendly, comfortable place to eat with OK food. My turkey club was fine. Bacon super crispy, everything else OK. I would have liked the toast to have been toasted. At least I hope it was supposed to be toast, otherwise that bread was far from fresh.

I’ve had the black bean burger, waffle fries and beef barley soup. The burger was okay but it was surrounded by a mountain of bread that drowned out the taste so I chucked the bread. The soup was lukewarm. And the waffle fries were just okay. BUT, the thing that made me give this a 2-star rating is the attitude of the employees. The blond lady is an ice queen. Sweetie, I’m married to a woman who looks like a model. I ain’t there to hit on you and you just might learn to smile and greet your customers. And the dudes who prep the food and give it to you need to take a trip down the street to Chick-fil-A to see how customers should be treated. I will not be returning to this place and I suggest you avoid it unless you’re a hipster. If you are, the food and attitude will suit you well.

First time visit to Fresh Farms. The restaurant was clean. I ordered the roasted veggie Flatbread pizza, with cucumber side salad and the cinnamon hazelnut coffee. The coffee was fresh and hot but the pizza fell short. The menu stated there would be roasted red pepper, zucchini, eggplant and red onions on the pizza but all that was on it was red onion. While it tasted fine it was not what was on the menu. The cucumber tomato salad was fresh and tasted delish. Enjoyed the free yogurt. I will give them a second chance.

I was wandering on my lunch break and decided to try out Fresh Farms Café. This café is located in the Candler Building in very close proximity to Powerplant Live. The place was pretty busy with people and the environment was very clean and welcoming. I walked up to the counter unsure of what to get and was greeted warmly from the person working the register. Judging from other reviews posted, it looked like service was an issue, but I had a completely different experience. The girl working the counter even suggested that they have a special item not currently on the regular menu — Chicken Burrito Bowl or a Chicken Burrito. This helped me greatly and I told her I would try the Chicken Burrito Bowl. I also got the tomato cucumber salad as a side because on the ordering screen, it looked tasty. She wished me a good day and even complimented me on my scarf which I thought was very nice. My Chicken Burrito Bowl had chicken, rice, sour cream, corn, peppers, black beans, cheese and tomatoes. It was OK. The chicken was a bit bland and dry. The rice was dry as well. Very lackluster. This meal had me thinking … I should have known to just get a burrito bowl from Chipotle instead. The tomato cucumber salad didn’t quite look like the depicted picture on the order screen which I should not have been too surprised. It was tasty, but there was more liquid versus actual tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Also, the container was pretty tiny. I was disappointed at how small the side was, it was put in a container size that you would put sauce in. I wouldn’t really count that as a «side». Overall, I would be curious to see how the other menu options pan out, but to be honest the downtown area has so much competition and options, I doubt I would come back. I do like the focus on being«farm fresh», but I wonder how truly organic these options are and judging on the menu items listed on their website online, I would gather that they aren’t truly«farm fresh» other than the café name and their resolution to not harshly impact the environment. I feel if you are to market as being farm to store and sustainable options there should be more concrete evidence to it. I’d much rather spend money at a whole foods instead.

Very slow service. Okay Coffee… I wouldn’t think about coming again though.

Hi, I share good and bad, first of all. But this one is a «bad». I went into this store on Market Pl, just off the inner harbor, here in Baltimore, for the first time today. And probably my last. The greeter/order taker was almost incomprehensibly rude. No «Welcome to Fresh Farms, can I help you?» Not even«Hello». Instead«NEXT!» «What are you having? What side. What’s your name?» Handed her(LaDonna) my credit card. She took it, swiped it, handed it back. I said«Thank-you»… Again, nothing. just… «NEXT!» Then I waited FIFTEENMINUTES for my sandwich(chicken cobb wrap). And I checked my receipt against my watch. Yup, FIFTEEN minutes. Ridiculous. And the pick up window called people’s names, and simply THRUST bags at people. No, «thank-you, have a nice day». Not even«Thank-you». And I mean NOTONCE for almost 20 people. F-ing ridiculous. There was one person, guy, who said«see ya» but he wasn’t working the pick up window. BTW this was at 12:40PM — so, sure, lunch time, but there was staff on the floor. Just nothing moving. In the seating area dishes were overflowing/piled up in/near the trash can. Not pretty. One bright spot — my sandwich was good. Too bad I didn’t have any time left in my lunch to eat it. So, overall, not impressed. On the most basic of levels — greeting and courtesies ITSUCKED. Couple that with waiting so long made it inexcusable to think about coming back here. So if you want this to be a success — and I know from all the«hems», «haws» and«glaring» going on by customers I wasn’t alone — you’re gonna need to clean house. P. S. Look at the review from Aug. 25 — SAME thing about waiting and **attitude** from the staff. This one won’t be around long clearly.

Fresh Farms is incredibly convenient, since it’s inside my office building and I don’t even have to go outside to get there. However, it’s extremely hit-or-miss. — Coffee — Fine, but Panera’s is way better. — Food — I love their black bean burger, but it always seems to come out a bit of a mess. They have great fries when they’re prepared properly, but I just got some and they’re limp, pale, and tasteless. Such a disappointment after getting the most amazing fries EVER last time. Their other food overall is pretty«meh.» — Service — Also«meh.» Not bad but not great. Have had to-go orders prepared to eat there, and orders for there prepared to-go. No one has ever been rude to me though. Overall it’s not really worth taking the chance of eating there, unless you work in the Candler building and are incredibly, incredibly lazy and can’t even walk across the street to Panera, Chipotle, Subway, or the fantastic schwarma cart. There are cheaper and much better options just a few steps further away. Sorry, Fresh Farms.

This place is conveniently located right near work. It is a nice alternative to the chain café places nearby. Food is made fresh to order. I’ve had a few different breakfast sandwiches/wraps all very good and filling. Also have had the jerk shrimp salad a few times for lunch — very tasty! Again, food is made fresh to order, the shrimp is straight off the grill piping hot and well seasoned. Like other reviewers have mentioned, Fresh Farms biggest downfall is their customer service. Not that I’ve ever had an issue with my order but a good grouping of the staff I’ve encountered are very smug and don’t really seem to care that they have a job to do.

Really awful considering the competition in the area. I work very close to this place and I’d love for it to be an every day thing, but the service and ineptitude blocks it from being my «spot» The menu changes constantly, not in a specials kinda way, but in a «we never had that flavor of latte, even though it’s on the menu» kinda way. Muffins at 10am should NEVER be hard enough to knock on a table. I ordered an Italian Soda, you know, light and refreshing everywhere else, but seriously gross here. I watched the gentleman make it, he didn’t pump syrup into the base, he poured. 3\4 of the cup was Torani syrup and then he left from behind the counter to splash it off with tap water from the fountain on the other side of the restaurant, it turned out to be a milkshake texture(!!!) The gumbo was fantastic, the food is kinda on the meh side overall. Seriously, with Panera being in spitting distance and handful of these sandwhich-and-soup shops within walking distance for us 9 – 5’ers, they have really got to step it up. Consistency would be a good place to start.

My co-worker came in today with a ham egg and cheese on texas toast that she was raving about — and handed me the menu to Fresh Farm Café since it had lunch options for under 10 bucks. When lunch rolled around, she was even willing to take the walk back out there, despite still being full from her breakfast sandwich. As I write this review, I’m chomping down on a blackened chicken cobb wrap(7.39) with a pesto wrap. The avocado spread is creamy, the chicken is just lightly blackened, and there is a slight hint of spice. Its all done with just the right amount of salty, tangy — and its really just a great wrap. I rounded this out with a fountain drink(limited options, but they do have unsweetened Iced Tea) and fries(1.99 add on for the lunch combo) — otherwise you can choose between chips, cucumber salad or sliced apples. I’ll probably keep getting fries, which are just the way I like them(soft on the inside, just a tad crispy on the outside, not too oily and just a bit salty). The shop itself is spacious with fun wood carved modern decorations and lots of natural light. There appears to be plenty of seating inside and out, and it’s kept meticulously clean. The only part of the experience that seemed like«fast food» is the speed I got my wrap. Oh, that and the attitude of the people working there — a few more smiles would go a long way… but they were polite and quick, so can I really complain?

Been here a handful of times since it’s close to my work. The workers literally have the worst attitude when taking your order, and they don’t even know what is on their menu. Chances are they will get your order wrong. The last time I went they gave me something completely wrong and then acted pissed they had to make it again. They lost my business. Wouldn’t recommend.
