First time in here before my shift at CVS. I ordered the Asian Street Salad but asked to omit the jalapeños and cucumber. Cashier didn’t let me know that the cucumber was part of a mix with the Edamame. I ate two bites and on the 3rd, got a piece of cucumber. I don’t like them, it gives me a rash, literally. Can’t have it on my skin at all. The manager had the nerve to ask me was I extremely highly contagious as if could I still eat it. Seriously? So? He suggested the chopped salad. I got it with bacon, blue cheese, avocado, chicken, and tomatoes, brioche bread. To apologize, 2 $ 5 gift certificates I am happy!

This corner bakery is super helpful and has been my go-to when ordering food for business meetings. They handle last second orders very well and their food is always a hit in the office. This morning they especially surprised me, when I went in to purchase a cupcake for a friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, they do not sell cupcakes in the AM, but Ayanna creatively suggested turning a chocolate bundt cake into a large cupcake with vanilla icing and M&M’s on top. It was adorable and my friend loved it. Thanks so much corner bakery and Ayanna for coming through at the last second. I will definitely be back for more!

As a group, we head here for lunch about once a month. It’s usually 6 to 8 people so we need some room. This location had additional seating both outside and in the adjoining lobby. Food is usually just ok, service can be slow. Today I got a Cuban sandwich. There was aluminum foil stuck to the underside. I’ll try and post a picture of the part I didn’t end up eating.

I like the you choose three where you can get a soup and two small sides/salads(i.e. scoop of chicken salad, avocado salad, pasta salad, etc). I also think the carbonara pasta is quite tasty. I find it relatively pricey(although I guess thats the area) and a little slower that usual for an order at the counter lunch spot.

Synopsis: Atmosphere: 3.5÷5 Service: 3.5÷5 Taste: 3.5÷5 Price: 4⁄5 Selection: 4⁄5 This place is pretty average, nothing super fancy, but the prices are decent. I went for breakfast, so I can’t say anything about the other meals or time of day. The atmosphere of this location is pretty good. It’s clean, not too crowed, and there was plenty of seating when I went. A little above average, nothing special. Service was pretty good, not slow at all and I was pleased. The cashiers were nice and friendly too. Selection was a good deal of food. Multiple different breakfast items and I was pleased, but there could be more for sure. The prices were reasonable for the food as well. The taste of the food could have been improved. I got pancakes, eggs, bacon and coffee. Bacon was decent, but I would have liked it to be more crispy. It was a little on the chewy side. The eggs were lukewarm and below average at best. The pancakes were really good though. I liked them a lot. The coffee was substandard. It tasted burnt and I didn’t like it, but I am a little bit of a coffee snob. Overall, this place was average. If you don’t care and just want food then this will be okay. But you can choose a better place. Miss Shirley’s is better but comes at a price.

Wow… No fountain drinks. Slow service. Poor quality food. No wonder it was the only place without a line on a Saturday. Stay away!

This place blows. They can’t get a simple order correct. On top of that what part of grilled panini can’t they figure out? My sandwich clearly wasn’t grilled at all. Don’t waste your time at this place.

Well, I hate to start off a review this way, but the service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. The entire experience was definitely not worth the price. My husband and I were there for our first time this past weekend on Easter Sunday at around 10:30AM. There were a few people seated already but no one else in line. We walked up to the counter to order and the woman at the register just stared at me. No hello, no welcome, no smile, no ‘can I take your order’ — she just stared. I felt a bit intimidated, but we ordered and were given a number without so much as a thank you, or instructions on what the ‘procedure’ was for food delivery/pick up. This may be obvious to people who go there often, but this was our first visit. We eventually noticed others with the number on their table and took a seat. It took about 20 minutes for an equally quiet and unfriendly person to come and deliver our breakfast(both of us got eggs and pancakes). I said thank you when she dropped everything off, and she grunted«OK» and left. The food itself was unimpressive. Neither of us found the pancakes particularly good or edible. For the price, which was about $ 22 for two people, the experience and food were a disappointment compared to what one might get from a local breakfast diner. TL;DR: While this place may be great for the office staff in the building on a weekday basis, my recommendation is for everyone else to keep on walking and find a nice local diner(which we really wanted to do but the one we found was closed for Easter Sunday!).

I would put Corner Bakery on the same scale as Panera. Its a nice change up from Panera(which is located a few hundred feet away) as they have a vast and varied menu — but still the same quality wise. One drawback: they tend to overdress the salad Otherwise: Pretty average — what you would expect from a chain café.

My husband and I were visiting Baltimore for our 20th wedding anniversary. Since I’m such a sucker for cookies and croissants and breads and such, I knew it would be a good place to stop for breakfast. Right from the door, everyone was so friendly and nice. They suggested some panini sandwiches they really hit the spot. I had the bacon egg & cheddar and my husband had the Anaheim(something like that). Very nice. Buttery and crunchy bread and delicious bacon.(yum). The coffee selections were very good. I loved the Europa blend. The service was amazing. The staff came by to check on us and asked if we needed anything. Even the manager stopped by to ask how our food was and offered us a free cookie. Wonderful. We don’t have a corner bakery back home but will make sure we stop by again when we return to Baltimore.

Disgusting. My ham & Swiss breakfast sandwich was wet and dripping. The fruit salad had barely cut slices, like no need to chew it’s so small. The potatoes my mom got were dry and tastes reheated. Potatoes reheated are nasty. The coffee is extra strong. It’s like they feel they can serves this junk because there aren’t many other breakfast aces around. My advice… Sleep in and go someplace else for lunch.

Stopped by here on the way to WYPRs aquarium night. Wait staff were very cool about serving us even though we accidentally walked in right before closing and didn’t realize it. Food was good, price was better than expected for the inner harbor area. Quite tasty.

I’ve only had items off the panini menu, but I think Corner Bakery has gotten a bad rap. It’s at least on par with Panara and convenient to offices downtown. The chicken pomodori and club panini are both good. Each panini comes with a bag of chips for $ 7. Just an average sandwich joint.

Busy Monday morning but manager was there to keep order moving in and out. Had basic sandwich of scrambled eggs and ham slices. The panini has a delicious crisp but the sandwich was just okay.

Service: young man behind counter was friendly, informative. Service was fast. 4.5 stars. Atmosphere: pleasant. Nice vibe inside. Relatively decent«soft pop rock eclectic… jazz» music. I liked the kids menus with crayons in their own little station. Drink station was great, but no silverware. Cleqn bathrooms. Clean counters, tables. Free wifi. 4.8 stars. Location: a bit hidden from the tourist trap locations of the inner harbor. 5 stars. Drinks: hot chocolate was far superior to those at Starbucks or Panera. Coffee was warm and not too acidy-bitter. 4 stars. Food: Mid-poor. I had a breakfast panini that was just borderline inedible. I liked the chicken-apple-sausage. The eggs were flavorless. The cheddar cheese was absorbed into the bread. The bread was just soft and kinda mushy, and whoever was coating the panini grill with spray also doused the whole sandwich in spray. You spray the grill, not the sandwich. You can butter a sandwich, but non-stick spray isn’t REALLY supposed to be a butter substitute. 0 stars.

I really wanted this to be a good review… They had some good choices on the menu. However, they were totally unorganized, even with the 5 or 6 staff they had working in this little place. However, we were with another couple that had ordered after us and ordered more complex meals… We ordered a simple bagel and some oatmeal, our friends had omelets. During our 45 minutes of waiting, we saw two other parties complain and storm out… That should have been a sign. Approximately 50 minutes after ordering, our friends got their omelets… We waited another five mins and went to see what happened. Apparently, they couldn’t find my bagel… It was the last one and they must have given it to someone else. We simply said forget it and got a refund. Our friends said we didn’t miss anything as it wasn’t that good. I will say that I was very pleased with how well the manager handled it. He was very apologetic and polite. I think they just need to get more organized

I’m not the biggest fan of CB, especially since Panera is down the block. However, the baked goods are really good. Especially the brownies. The ravioli isn’t half bad either. Prices aren’t bad, especially for downtown.

Great menu! Many options for those who are watching their calories. A day of sight seeing and shopping on the harbor had me craving something light for lunch. Quite a few options to choose from restaurant wise, but I opted for Corner Bakery seeing that there wasn’t a long line to deal with. Very light lunch… a signature half sandwich, the chicken pesto on a ciabata bun and the spicy coconut thai soup. I love a great pesto and chicken combo, so the sandwich was great. I didn’t know what to expect with the soup since I’ve only had Spicy thai soup at Thai restaurants. It did not disappoint. Friendly service and clean establishment. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the baltimore area.

Surely not a ton of razzmatazz nor a cache of calories like it’s high(er)-end next door neighbor, Capital Grille? Still Corner Bakery Café Inner Harbor handed me a hearty if relatively healthy(er) downtown dining option. My breakfast of Baked French Toast with heaping helpings of scrambled egg at $ 7.29 and side of spicy chicken apple sausage at $.30 did the trick. Spongy brioche infused with vanilla custard made a moist delight despite tough edges. Syrup thin. Obviously healthy(er). Eggs fluffy & fresh. The vegetarian breakfast variants of the Farmer’s Scrambler with cheddar cheese and Avocado/Spinach Panini with egg & cheddar cheese tip to a lacto-ovo fan base. A fruit medley offers a nondairy breakfast option. A pretty damned sizable, soft, not too shabby yet alarmingly sweet Snickerdoodle for $ 1.49 absolutely lived up to it’s «sugar cookie» moniker. Dining at 10am I beat the touristy hordes occupying this joint. Cashier taking orders didn’t genuflect in my general direction, but was efficient. Chummy server. Cordial buser. Clean confines. Indoor dining slightly tight, not wholly uncomfortable. With all that piling on the poundage at the adjacent Capital Grille the calorie conscious Corner Bakery Café may counter with less finesse but still has above doable dishes of healthy(er) and flat out healthy fare. Nothing in my particular eats wowed me, but it exceeded expectations. I’m feeling a solid 3.5. I guess I’m feeling healthy(er) as well.

Coming from the very heart of Panera country(Bread Co in St. Louis…), this format’s pretty familiar. It’s fast casual with a slightly higher grade of food and counter service. They’ve got baked goods, sandwiches/soups/salads and even a couple of pasta dishes. This outlet, in the lobby of a commercial tower(Lockwood Place I think), is pretty good. There’s an ample amount of seating, especially if you don’t mind moving a few small tables around and aren’t there at too busy of a rush. Keep in mind that the tables in the lobby, just outside one of the café’s entrances, are fair game too; inside of the shop, most of the seating is planned for groups of up to four, but the outside is a little more flexible. The meatball panini that I ordered came up pretty quickly and was a good size for the cost. Hot, crispy and flavorful, I was pleased! Fountain drinks include refills and the pre-sweetened hibiscus tea was a highlight. A staffer carrying around a little basket of warm, complimentary cookies was also a nice touch. I might’ve preferred something a little more indigenous to Baltimore during my visit to the Inner Harbor, but that’s no reason not to eat here.
