On a late night tour decided I wanted a good burger so I stopped by. I looked at the price and said this had better be one of the best dam burgers I ever eaten. I have had better that cost less. I got the to poo of the lake Kobe. The burger was not even hot. Fir $ 13 bucks it should be piping hot not Luke warm. The fries were average over priced. Also if u want anything extra like cheese pony up another dollar. Excuse me I just paid $ 13 for a burger should I get a free slice of cheese with it?. NO! My experience is quit while you ahead go to McDonald’s det a mcdouble abd save money and get real burger flavors. This place Sucks. I won’t be back

As a degenerate drinker/gambler this place passes with flying colors. Sneaky bogo beers on weekdays. Awesome prices considering other places. Great food. Awesome people, the works. Well deserved food after your casino work, and the prices allow you to spend/lose/win more.

Ehh. The cashiers are slow and I notice the food isn’t worth the price. The mozzarella stx were just like any kind you could get from SAMs club. The onion rings weren’t nothing special. And we’ll the burgers in my opinion were gross. I’m a regular here and I guess that’s what I get for finally trying something new pizzeria is the best.

Your food options are limited when you don’t want to leave the casino. There are some interesting choices on the same floor. This fast food stop is creatively decorated. The employees are nice. I visited after 10pm and found the cooks rather s-l-o-w when there were hardly any customers around. The fries were fresh and tasty. The Mt. Dew served it’s purpose… giving me energy to drive back home. If you want service with a smile, you will get it here.

Always a treat when we visit the Horseshoe. The Mushroom/Swiss burger is FANTASTIC! The ability to pay with comps is a great perk as well.

Heavy Seas has become one of my go to places at the casino for casual yet tasty American fare. Everything is made fresh to order so you might have to wait a few minutes after placing your order, but I’ve enjoyed the various items I’ve tried. Some of the sides are fairly standard, but the burgers are good. I also really like the chocolate milkshake – even though it’s from a machine it’s pretty tasty!

Bottom Line: Good burgers and brew but kinda pricey. Like other Unilocalers have noted, Heavy Seas Burger Bar is kinda pricey. Burger Bar is really just a synonym for fast food burgers. As Sarah G. noted, burgers and loaded fries for two is easily $ 20. Fortunately their beer is reasonably priced but our meal was still over $ 15/person for a brew, a burger and ½ order of loaded fries. The logistics here are that place your order at hte counter and then wait for your order, just like any other fast food joint. Then, you can find a table within the«Baltimore Marketplace» to dine. The food was good here but nothing remarkable.

After some gambling went downstairs to try this place. I had a Double burger with bacon, order of fries and a drink for $ 17. A little pricey but it was a very good burger. The meat was very good and tasted fresh with crispy bacon and very nice bun. I plan to return anytime I am at this casino.

I had the burger with mushrooms and Swiss on it. The burger was okay, nothing special and it was really dry. I also had some of the loaded cheese fries with bacon and jalapeños on if, and they were delicious! Overall, I thought this place was really pricey(~$ 20 for a burger and loaded fries, no drink). The burger wasn’t that great but the fries were good. If you want a burger I would try somewhere else, but if you want fries I would get them here!

The line is incredibly slow, especially for a place only serving burgers and hot dogs. They ran out of one tap. Poor service.

Random night out with my beau. Driving through Baltimore and decided to stop at the Casino to grab some dinner. We had come to the casino once before and saw a few people eating at Heavy Seas so we made a bee line when we got here. Well you can’t go wrong with Kobe beef, we ordered our burgers medium well, and of course they were well done by the time we got them. Lesson learned… Order medium and you will probably get what you want. Food was a bit pricey $ 4 for tater tots and I guess you have to request the special sauce they advertise with them because it didn’t come with the tots. If your in the casino its a good place to eat, I wouldn’t drive here specifically for the burgers but it was good and the Heavy Seas special burger sauce added a nice touch.

We went here to try a burger and gave up after they were somehow out of the first two burgers we attempted to order(worked out since the nearby pizza place was awesome). The place was empty on a Saturday around 1pm yet they somehow weren’t prepared. Alright it happens, so after lunch I went and ordered a strawberry milkshake and you guessed it, out of that as well! To be fair the chocolate shake wasn’t bad but still… really? There are other legit options in the food court so not sure I’ll be back to this place. Forget sailing the Heavy Seas, this place is a shipwreck.

Stopped by here after gambling for a while and wanted something quick and light to eat so just ordered some onion rings. Don’t know what they cooked them in or battered them with but they were great. I mean the best onion rings of my life. They also came with sauce which I don’t know what it was but it went well. After that I skipped dinner because I was full. Place had stupid name but great food.

Of all the names you could use for a burger joint… I feel that Heavy Seas might not be the best choice. I understand that Baltimore is a port town and the whole ship motif… but Heavy Seas makes me think of how my stomach will feel after eating their food. Well, with that said… I enjoyed my Pigtown burger and onion rings. My buddy enjoyed his Fell’sPoint. Our consensus was that the burgers were on the small side but delicious. The buns were tasty and unique. I wouldn’t seek this place out on its own… but if I was on the Horseshoe campus and in the mood for a hamburger, I’d be willing to get it again.

Want to pay $ 11 for a $ 6 burger? Then you’ve come to the right place. So I got the harbor east, a «kobe» beef burger with blue cheese, cherry peppers, lettuce tomato and onions. The burger is about as thick as your average McDonald’s patty: not what I was expecting for $ 11. But I figured maybe the taste will make up for it, after all, I don’t mind paying for quality food. Unfortunately it did not blow me away. It really just tasted overwhelmingly of blue cheese. The peppers(the kind that are like a finely chopped spread) only covered half the bun so I didn’t even taste them for the first half of the burger. The fries were similarly average(at a separate cost of $ 4). They are advertised as having a garlic and green mango seasoning but guess what? They taste just like any other fries. In fact, there wasn’t even nearly enough salt and they were frankly sort of bland. The food isn’t really terrible but it is a rip off for the prices they charge. Even the drinks are terribly priced. $ 3 for a 20 ounce fountain soda? If you are going to spend $ 20 for a meal at horseshoe casino, you are better off going to one of the actual restaurants like guy fieri’s or Johnny Sanchez.

The burgers are excellent, we tried the kobe beef one and it was very well made, and the prices were surprisingly low for a brand new casino, about half the price of Guy’s. There was a sign out that said daily happy hour BOGO beers and they told us that the deal was not currently active even though we were there in the time window. And then it cost twice as much as it should have for a poorly carbonated heavy seas gold. And the women at the register was thoroughly confused about the menu.

Stopped at Heavy Seas after a night of gambling and a bit of drinking with some friends. We decided to try a couple of them and split them. I am sooooo in love with the PigTown one it’s not even funny. We also had the original with sweet pepper relish and it was really yummy too but there was something about that sausagey goodness. I will certainly be going back and SOON!!! I have pictures of the two burgers on my blog.
