Panera Bread

Good service but I felt a bit rushed when at the register. First timers may have trouble finding all the different drink machines. Spent over 30 dollars for three pick two meals. But overall good food and environment.

My friend and I just wanted a lighter meal. We both ordered the creamy tomato soup with French bread and it was really yummy. this was my first time at panera bread and I really liked it. I also had a green smoothie that was good, tasted a little sugary but still good. I would definitely go back!

Pretty standard panera. Staff is super friendly and the food is tasty. Love their hazelnut coffee, especially when its fresh. They also have upstairs seating which is great for some studying. Lunch is always busy and there’s always a line, but theyre really fast so it balances out.

Everything about this place was great. The service was amazing. The only thing was the women’s bathroom… why do they not stock toilet seat covers or clean ot? There was urine over both toilets and feces it the other. Unacceptable.

Okay, I know no one actually checks reviews for a Panera before coming, but I wanted to give this specific location props.
1) Close to University of Maryland — Baltimore (super close to the law school specifically)
2) There’s two levels with ample seating and even a fireplace which makes it a great spot to come study
3) You can order ahead online and your food will be waiting on a rack with your name on it. It’s great for skipping lines during the lunch rush or when I’m low on time.
Otherwise, it’s your standard Panera — the staff is friendly and the food is tasty. Also, be sure to sign up for their Panera Rewards program!

I think I forgot how fresh and yummy Panera food can be. I was reminded of that on a recent lunch there. I had a tuna salad sandwich and really enjoyed every bite. I’ll be back for more. Panera is a solid lunch option, don’t forget it!

My oh my what a difference a day makes, after having a very unpleasant experience at another Panera bread I decided to give this location a shot. This time when I walked in I already knew that I wanted a cherry vanilla bagel, but I still had a lingering question about another product that had not been sufficiently answered by an associate at another store. I made my way to the counter and was pleasantly greeted by a smiling and easy on the eyes associate whose publicly displayed name tag said, Kady. Along with a smiling gentleman whose publicly displayed name tag said, Patrick. I ordered what I came in for and then decided to ask Kady about the previous product that I was curious about, and not only did she answer my question, she did so with enthusiasm and great knowledge. And although it sounded delicious I made a joke as to why I wouldn’t be purchasing it, and to my surprise and great delight Kady came back with a quick witted and hilarious reply of her own. Now my encounter with Kady gets even better because when she went to retrieve my bagel, as luck would have it, it was in the basket on the top shelf in the furthest right corner, which meant Kady had to stand on her tippy toes and fully extend her body to reach it, which proved to be quite pleasant to watch. Being in sales myself, one thing I instinctively do is see if a cashier engages in my favorite and in my opinion the most critical part of any transaction, and that is called «The Upsell» very few counter people even know what it is and when they do make an attempt it is so generic and half-​hearted that I always think to myself why did you even bother honey. Well Kady was excellent and threw her own spin on it when she informed me that ”coffee would go good with that” you see the technique that Kady used is called «item specific upselling» rather than give the standard «Anything else» by suggesting a specific product you create a bond with the customer that lets them know you paid attention to what they ordered and now you just want to see that they derive maximum pleasure from their selection, and in order to do that they need to purchase this «other thing» which will most assuredly bring peace and harmony to their lives. Now even though I declined the coffee, I was so impressed and having such a good time that I just told Kady to throw in another bagel. When I got back to my vehicle and finished my previously purchased sandwich, I open the Panera Bread bag and was baffled as to why I had 2 Cherry vanilla bagels. WTF! Kady had been so good that the upsell worked on me the master upseller and I didn’t even realize it! This Panera Bread is lucky to have such associates as Kady and Patrick, and Kady should immediately be removed from behind the counter and put in charge of the training division throughout the whole chain! As far as Panera locations go, this one is definitely among the better ones. It’s a clean location and convenient to the local campus and downtown area. The staff is polite and the quality of the food items is consistently good. This location can get busy during the lunch period, so sometimes I will order online and pick up, but otherwise it is moderately busy and has ample seating.

This is my FAVORITE study spot in the area! I come here all the time for lunch or coffee and then go upstairs to the nice loft area and study for hours. There are nice half booths (equipped with outlets!) that you can sit at. The second floor is usually pretty empty and quiet; it can get crowded during lunch hour but for the most part it’s quiet and conducive for studying. In fact, most times I’m the only person there. The wifi is decent and they also have some nice jazzy background music.
The service at this Panera is also wonderful! Most of the employees are cheery and enthusiastic and the service is pretty efficient even during busy hours.
In terms of food, I love getting the half soup half sandwich/​salad. If you have not tried the soup in a bread bowl you definitely should! The Thai chicken salad and the strawberry poppyseed salad with apple chips are my favorite. And you can never go wrong with the chicken noodle soup!
They recently added their broth bowls which are supposed to be a healthier option. I tried one of them and it was decent but a little to salty for my liking. The next thing on my to try list is the avocado, egg white and spinach power sandwich.
One more thing: definitely get a Panera card! It’s absolutely free and you get lots of wonderful perks and rewards. For every some number of times you visit you get different rewards each month. Sometimes they just put random rewards on your card like I just got a reward for one free coffee every day of June! Perfect way to start off the day!

The service was excellent and prompt, BUT I asked for no onions and I ended up them. I didnt know until I opened my sandwich after I left! Huge disappointment. I couldve used a little more dressing too but hey that’s what I get for take out right and not checking my food! Smh

The staff is friendly and they are fast, the restaurant has a bright and quiet upstairs lounge that l enjoy.

Food yummy and everyone very friendly. Clean restaurant and loved the upstairs seating. Nice little touch.

By lunch time is very crowded but is worth the wait for the most delicious soup and salad ever!
Not to bad a price for the two some I go everyday. The best staff ever to make the best meals —-complimentary to great service:)

I actually want to love Panera but I am very frustrated with their VERY HIGH SODIUM level in their soups and new broth bowls. WHY? Why?
This review is not for this location but in general for Panera.
I think Sodium is high because Panera might be using very cheap frozen foods for preparing soups.
Well. hopefully Panera management will wake up and fix this.

Came on New Year’s Day. I’ll make it short and sweet.
Service was pleasant both from cashier and food preparers. Food was nice and hot, sandwich was well put together. Nothing else needed in our book.

Not coming here again even though I work nearby. I would rather go out of my way to get food than return here. The food is mediocre at best, staff is competent only at certain times and my meals have been messed up by this place.
1. Mac and cheese small size: got filled only ¾ of the way. That’s $ 5 for six bites of mac and cheese.
2. Ordered a bagel and cream cheese online: got only the cream cheese in the rapid pick up bag. It didn’t occur to anyone that an order of a single serving of cream cheese is an odd order.
3. It’s no surprise that there is practically never a morning coffee rush line here. The coffee is horrid: burnt and bitter.
4. Tried a cookie for the first time and regretted it after the first bite: it was too oily and left a film on the roof of my mouth.
Hate this place.

I’ve been in town all week working with my new research lab. I thought I was introverted. I thought I was a loaner. I thought what some people call «southern hospitality» was just people being normal. I was wrong. After solo breakfasts, working all day through lunch, solo dinners/​desserts, and chilling in my romantic room at the B&B, I started to feel down. I saw the Panera earlier in the week and all I felt motivated to do was eat soup. The Panera was relatively quiet, they didn’t screw up my order, I enjoyed my hot tea and soup, and I went back to the house. This city has a cold heart, but Panera has hot soup and fresh bread. I guess that’s better than nothing.

I absolutely love Panera! I live and work close to two different Panera locations. I frequent pennant 3 or more times throughout the week. All of the employees at this location are delightful! I recommend that you use your mypanera card every time you visit. They have so many great surprises that you can redeem. This month I received one free iced or hot coffee a day for the ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY! That is totally sweet!
This summer my favorite salad is the Strawberry Poppy seed salad, hold the dressing. Give it a try!

I’m not sure why there’s always a good amount of waiting involved in getting my oatmeal. I know they cut up the fruit once the order is placed but man oh man, 5 – 10 min sure is a long time! I only come here for breakfast, lunch items once in a blue. It’s your average Panera, if you have to use the bathroom GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Pretty sure the junkes of Baltimore St own stock here. it was gross!

Full menu Panera with a nice, clean, comfortable interior, in an area that can use more quality food options like this one.
I have not encountered any problems during my visits or had anything but good things to say about the food. The service is always quick and pleasant. The food is on par with all the other Panera’s I have visited.
A solid, if not one of the best options, for a quick bite in this area.
