So this was my 2nd time at this location… and it will unfortunately probably be my last. I did an online order for pickup and when I got there the fax machine was“broken” so my order was not ready. Mind you this is my lunch break, AND city parking. I will say the lovely lady who made my sandwich was very nice and had wonderful customer service — but the manager? Not so much, which is truly disheartening. Customers were walking out because she was messing up orders, on the phone, frantic– it was just a mess. I then proceeded to ask her if my meal could be comp’d because of the wait and mess up and she told me no its not our fault its the fax machines… hmmm. OK! On top of all the sandwich was blah. So I’m annoyed overall and will take my coin somewhere more worthy!

This place is da bomb! Idk why it isn’t more popular. I usually get the buffalo chicken or chicken breast wrap and they never disappoint. Full of toppings. Mouthwatering and healthy. If you like pineapple in your pita, ask them to grill your pineapple. It makes the pita that much better. Price is also reasonable and if you make their reward card, you will get a free pita after 6 purchases(i think it was 6). Good place for lunch if you are around the hospital.

Who doesn’t love pitas? This isn’t the first Pita Pit I’ve been to, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Good news is that, I’ve pretty much have had a good experience in every single one. There’s nothing too fancy about the Pita Pit. What you see is pretty much what you get. There’s pretty much a pita fit for everyone’s taste and mood. Just to have to figure out which one you want at that specific moment in time. It’s usually a quick, cheap, yet tasty lunch/dinner meal. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood.

I honestly appreciate excellent customer service and the young ladies wrking the pm shift in 2,24,16 were amazing. I never heard of this place, however they walked me through the menu and answered all my questions in vivid detail. I do apologize for forgetting your names but i do know you were amazing and all of YOUR recommendations i absolutely loved.#iwillbeback#stellarservice

This location had been closed for a while but reopened earlier this year and I’ve become a regular – and gotten my coworkers hooked on it as well. The menu is comparable to other locations and reasonably priced(around 7 dollars a pita). You order the type of pita(some type of protein or vegetable) and then choose what fillings you’d like from a variety of cheeses, vegetables, and sauces. Everything at this location always seems very fresh and for the quality and price, it doesn’t disappoint.

Synopsis: Atmosphere: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Taste: 5⁄5 Price: 5⁄5 Selection: 4.5÷5 There really isn’t much to complain about with this pita pit location. The selection is a large selection just like every other pita pit and the food tastes great. I have been to this location multiple times and it has always been pleasant. The service has been quick even when busy, and the workers have never been rude. The wrapping jobs on their pitas is always spot on too. Wrapping is one of the more important parts to a job like this, and you don’t want your pita falling apart on you. This location does a good job at doing that. There are a couple negatives which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The environment for eating is almost always clean, but it’s bland and boring. Not that I care too much about environment, but it’s a factor. The biggest negative is selection of fountain drinks. It is very limited and I wish they would expand the selection. Overall I would recommend this as a good lunch or dinner option to anyone that likes a good pita.

They do what I like best. They keep it simple and give me plenty options. Always great to have things your way and the quality or service remains good. They are a great stop for lunch being quick and satisfying. Greek food is kind of a staple in the city so even though it’s a chain it has the redeeming quality of reping the little known niche of our big little town. Get a soulvaki and be happy.

How have I not known about Pita Pit until today?! A co-worker of mine suggested we stop by to grab lunch before heading back to the office and I was skeptical. I was nervous about the ordering process because I had never been to one before but I am happy to report that it was a breeze! Ordering is similar to Subway or Chipotle in that you order the main food but it gets passed down the line for toppings. I ordered a Chicken Breast Pita on wheat and added lots of veggies and condiments. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. They offer a large variety of pita flavors and have breakfast pitas as well! I think next time I will get a veggie pita because the chicken was a little wet for my taste but it was cooked well enough to be satisfactory for others(I’m just super picky). One thing I also noticed was the manager who was ringing up orders, getting people set up with a Pita Pit card, yelling orders to the line staff, and keeping track of the online orders being cranked out all with a smile on her face. I was impressed!

This place is open again and is under new management! Pita Pit of the best places around UMaryland campus to get a quick lunch. It re-opened under new manager/owner and now it’s great. The tables are always squeaky clean, the staff are super friendly and all the veggies are fresh even at the end of the day. They also have discounts: student, happy hour 3 – 5, or coupons.

I’ve had both the hummus and chicken souvlaki wraps and both were great but what really shines in this place are the toppings and condiments. They’re unlimited and very fresh. There’s an excellent variety too from artichokes to jalapenos. They really are doing a good job here and it’s a perfect lunch or quick dinner. Make sure you get the secret sauce!

I am so glad that Baltimore finally has a Pita Pit. Pita Pit has so much to offer from a chicken breast pita to a prime rib pita. I love having the ability to choose what can go into my pita and each pita is made to order. I am definitely a fan of this Pita Pit. My favorite pita here is the chicken breast pita.

I was incredibly excited to have a new addition to UMMC. Unfortunately, the experience was poor to say the least. The veggies appeared to be old and browning. When I commented on that fact, the cook tried to justify the browning greens by explaining that because the temperature of the restaurant is warm, the veggies brown. I suggest, to start, moving the heat-sensitive vegetables away from the pita steamer, to cool the veggies from the refrigerator below, and to replace browned vegetables with fresh ones whenever they brown, not on a predetermined schedule(every 4 – 5 hours). Additionally, the gyro meat they use is the highly processed, formed pieces of meat that bare little resemblance to actual gyro meat. For a «pita» place, I hoped that items such as gyros and souvlaki would be namesake dishes. The chicken souvlaki, is simply boiled chicken cubes warmed up on a fry surface without any seasoning. For real«pita» style sandwiches, go elsewhere.

Do you want a gyro? Would you like that gyro with regular or whole wheat pita? Instead of beef would you want chicken, prime rib, tuna, ham or turkey? On top of the regular gyro topping would you like to add artichoke hearts, green peppers, spinach, olives or mushrooms? Feta, provolone, or cheddar or parmesan cheese? Wait you don’t want bread, well then you can turn any pita into a salad instead. If you can’t find something you like here then move to another country!

Hungry? Poor? In the mood for some good grub? Pita Pit is your place! Pita Pit specializes in vegetarian– and meat-based pita wraps for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The style of ordering is similar to that at Subway — choose the type of pita wrap you’d like(i.e. chicken, chicken caesar, gyro, prime rib, tuna, falafel, etc), then choose white or wheat pita bread, and add condiments and sauce. The condiments range from avocado spread to hummus to fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, red peppers, spinach, etc. Afterwards, you can also select from a large variety of sauces to spice up your wrap. I particularly like the ancho chipotle and mango habanero sauces. The best part? Condiments and sauces are UNLIMITED. Want romaine lettuce and spinach? Hummus, red pepper hummus, AND guacamole? Tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, cheese… need I say more? My Pita Pit ritual is to stuff my pita with nearly everything in front of me, and my stomach cannot be any happier for it. To make the deal even better, from 4−7pm on weekdays, all pitas are $ 5. Sweeeeeeet.
