The Legacy Sandwich

Busy sandwich shop with very fast service and good sandwiches. $ 5 – 6 for a footlong sandwich, and you can add on chips and a drink. My only complaint is there isn’t much room to sit down. Only 3 small tables that sit two people each. We were there on a Tuesday at lunch, and there was a steady stream of people coming in and receiving their orders.

Nice little sandwich shop with all fresh ingredients and great prices. Owner very friendly. Way better alternative than Subway or some other fast food place.

I used to be a huge fan of the Coffee Pot, (the sandwich shop that Legacy Sandwich is styled after), so I had to give Legacy a try. When I got home and opened my sandwich up, I was really disappointed. I ordered it with extra pickles and there were only 5 pickle slices on the whole sandwich. The onions were so rancid (they had that old feet, sitting-​around-​for-​too-​long smell) that it turned my stomach. I ended up having to throw the whole thing away. I was really hoping I’d found the replacement for the Coffee Pot, but I think I’ll have to keep looking!

It’s hard to find places quite like Legacy Sandwich Shop anymore. A stuffed footlong sandwich for only $ 5? If the place isn’t called Subway, forget about it. But, Legacy delivers in both quality and value when it comes to their sandwiches. The shop pays tribute to the famous Coffee Pot sandwiches by constructing them inside-​out style with the meat, cheese, and pickles overlying the bread roll. I was told that Legacy makes the best tuna salad sandwich in town and I was not disappointed. The soft, footlong bread roll was stuffed with white albacore tuna and topped with cheese, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and slightly sweet pickles to top it off. The service was quick and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. In addition to 12 different sandwiches, they also have daily soups. For smaller portions, they also have a bulk roll option for $ 3 – 4.
