This place was so nasty I complained to corporate. Corporate gave them my name & the manager called a friend who knew me & complained about me doing it to my friend!!! WTH??? Thank goodness I was not the only one complaining to corporate and after it was inspected by corporate they Shut It Down. As of this posting it is CLOSED, Yay!

Hadn’t been to a Sizzler in some time and probably won’t visit again for some time. Nothing special here. Food was very plain and not all that appetizing. Staff was polite and helpful.

Hot! The restaurant was hot, the carpet worn to a frazzle and the whole place from furniture and all needs desperately a redo, including the food. The steak was yuck!

Their selection of food has decreased along with the taste. For the price it costs to eat there I’d rather go somewhere else. Not going there again.

Do not go to this restaurant for a steak. I got the steak and all you can eat shrimp and the steak was laughable. I should have taken a picture or it. It was so small I did all I could to not send it back. I thought I would at least enjoy all the shrimp I could eat, but the shrimp were small chewy and crunchy, and worst of all not deveined. They tasted like over cooked ocean waste. If you go here, stick to the salad bar. It looked fresh.

Wow. Just wow. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. All the food seemed like it had been out all day. I will certainly never return. I am struggling to come up with words to describe how awful this place was.

I ate here today. I knew what to expect and I liked it. I ate at Sizzlers(not this location) a lot when i was a kid and it brings back good memories for me. That being said I grew up to be somewhat of a foodie and know this isn’t fine dining. It’s Sizzlers! Just eat it. If you don’t want your cheesy bread give it to me! Lol.

Walked in the door, smelled raw sewage seeping from the bathroom. Whole table had food on their supposedly clean silverware. Building feels, and smells like a cheap casino. But what can you expect from Barstow?

I’m shocked by the decline of food at Sizzler, especially this restaurant. Sizzler used to be a great place to get a good steak and coming in to this restaurant, located next to my hotel, I was sorely disappointed in the decline. My publisher had suggested meeting here and as we hadn’t brought out computers or iPads with us, we didn’t really know where to go in town for food and didn’t want to stoop to eating at McDonald’s. Better the devil we know, so we ate here. The best part of the meal was the salad we each created; the next best part was leaving. A better choice than McDonald’s or Jack in the Box, but not much better.

Hands down most disgusting place I have ever been to. Steak was as tough as leather, salad tasted like dirt. You’re better off digging through the dumpster to find a better and cleaner place to eat.

While the staff was very nice the condition of the restaurant wasn’t. My husband and I ordered the special. For a med. rare steak, there was no blood to it. It wasn’t tender at all, as if it came from a 100 year old cow. The sides we got were ok but Sizzler was out of stock on some of the items listed, which of course were the ones we really wanted.

I like Sizzler, but this location is tired and in need of a refresh. Worn carpet and paint, and the salad bar is subpar. My husband had the Malibu Chicken and his portion was tiny and the toast was stale. Bathrooms need attention too, broken toilet seats and sinks. Seriously, Barstow Sizzler, get it together! Very disappointing.

I had never been to a Sizzler before and didn’t know what to expect but I certainly didn’t expect this. This place was a major let down. I had the salad bar, which was nothing special and overpriced for what it was. My buddy had Malibu chicken and his portion was very small and he said it didn’t taste so great. Do yourself a favor and skip the Sizzler!

My stomach will never forgive me for this one! Starting with the place: old, old, dirty! Had duct tape holding together the 79 year old carpet! Flies are part of the staff and constantly check on you to make sure you are as annoyed as possible! And the food… Oh boy, you are better off getting sushi from the gas station across the street… That should say it all! P.S. I would have used sh***hole, dump, etc, but other people already used those terms!

Not impressed, restaurant wasn’t very clean and food was nothing special. Salad bar wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked it to be, but I did show up an hour before closing. Not a place I would recommend unless you are on your last few dollars and you need to eat!

Let’s be real here folks, it’s Sizzler, you know what you are going to get when you you go to a Sizzler and the price you pay will justify that. For those expecting a high quality meal, with fantastic service, you may as well keep going down the 15 until you get to LA. But anyways, since Sizzler left the Vegas market this has become our lunch stop on the way down to LA. Malibu chicken, with the salad bar(or chicken wing bar as I call it). The food is ok, the wings are actually the same ones that McDonalds used to sell and for some reason they are my favorite type. Service is generally good, unless like the last time two bus loads of Russian tourists drop in for lunch unannounced, then like any restaurant getting 100 people through the door in one go things go south quickly. To summarize, it’s ok food at a good price served quickly and hot… And I love the wings.

Wow what a shithole this place was. I couldn’t even eat anything here it looked so bad. I think the soup had been there for a quarter century, or at least the film on top of it looked that way. What is it about old people just loving this place? The olds be all up in here chowing down. Do you lose your tastebuds as you get older? fuck that would suck right? imagine if the food at sizzler tasted good? man I gotta start doing some scientific research on this one because that would truly suck.

Skip the menu. Just go for the salad bar. Your taste buds will thank you «Oh look, Banana Pudding in the salad bar» «oh, never mind, I thought they were real banana pieces, it’s just frozen bits of something» For 4 of us they gave us 12 mints with the check, we all agreed, best part of the meal.

The food was not that great. It is quite nasty, actually. There’s salad(veggies & fruit) in the middle bar. Their pasta salad, potato salads, etc were watery and drowning in sauce. The outside bars have fried chicken, potato, nuggets with corn(which weren’t bad), corn on the cob(I prefer sweet white corn but theirs is the yellow kind), salty clam chowder, chicken overcooked-noodle soup, overcooked spaghetti that was sitting in water, with meatballs and watery marinara. The soft serve ice crème was a tad too sweet but it wasn’t icy. The pound cake was nice and moist. Went to eat here on Friday and on Sunday but the menu doesn’t change one bit. The nuggets were missing.
