Burger King

I wish I wasn’t forced to rate this place with a star. Stopped here on our way from Vegas back home to Port Hueneme. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The urinal cakes were expired. We should have turned right around after seeing the conditions of the bathrooms. Being hungry and having two small kids, we roughed it. Napkins are kept hostage behind the counter. The dining area is not clean. When we eventually got our food, the barbecue sauce was hand packaged. Why is this? It seemed rather shady to me. It looks like they got the condiment container from a Sams or Costco and put the barbecue sauce in there themselves. My stomach started to hurt 5 minutes into the meal. I normally wouldn’t review a fast food place but driving three hours home with terrible stomach pains left me no choice. This place is disgusting and shady. Avoid!!!

I don’t think the operators of this location of BK are serious about being in business. On our way to Texas we made a big mistake to stop here and not walk out the moment we entered the place. So it is 830AM breakfast time and nary a soul in the restaurant. This should have been the clue but no we pressed on. Not a single order taker could be spotted until a guy who was standing by the decrepit soda machine [two of which were out of order] finally ended up being the order taker! Amazing, no? This place is right out of road trip horror places you see in B-​movies. It is surreal. Anyway, we ordered a few things and prayed we will survive [we did, thank God] During our white knuckle 30 minutes dining there, not a single customer came in which really raised alarm bells. Come on, breakfast time and no customers? Were we having a nightmare? No/​yes. By contrast, the Carl’s Junior next door was humming. On our way out, I asked the guy who took our order if he was the only worker here and he creeply said «yeah, just about»

Restrooms worse then some campgrounds I’ve been to. There was urine all over the toilets and floor. I know this is done by patrons but t was a very bad first impression of this location. Hopefully they check and clean them more often. Food ok. Order taker was very pleasant and helpful.

Congratulations to the owner and manager of this location!!! We are always treated with respect and friendly greetings! Food is good service is excellent!!! We make it a point to stop here on our way home from Las Vegas!

Bathroom is pretty gross. Couldn’t imagine eating here and not getting sick…

If you like no air conditioning when it’s 107 outside and flies to share our lunch it’s awesome. Bathrooms were filthy with no toilet paper or soap. Food was Burger King. Maybe do drive through.

Eh. Didn’t want to stop here but I’m traveling with a bunch of hungry dudes so not much say! Lol. Only one register open during the lunch hour rush. One long a$$ line. Be prepared to wait a bit for your food. They need to turn up the A/​C inside… So many horse flies. Gross. Only thing good was the zesty sauce I used for dipping my fries and chicken nuggets.

Probably the worst Burger King I have ever been to. The place was almost void of customers. After finally getting someone to take my order, I presented a coupon for a Whopper meal deal. I got the distinct impression that me and my coupon were not really welcomed here. If that is the case, stop sending them in the mail to me. The kid behind the counter was a smirking jerk, too busy clowning around with the other employees to contribute anything positive to my experience. After the dick lick took my order, I waited and waited and waited for my simple little order, all the while hearing loud shouts, laughter and swearing coming from kitchen area. When my order was finally up, another dick lick basically tossed the bag at me on the counter, turned around and continued the antics with the co-​workers. No thank you, no come again, no nothing. I had such doubts about these employees, I just couldn’t trust the food they prepared for me. I tossed the food in the garbage on my way out .No shit.
Screw this Burger King location and screw their coupons. The Lenwood Burger King is better and the one in Tehachapi, Ca. at the K-​Mart shopping center kicks ass.

This place is disgusting we stopped by yesterday and the place was full of flies there were flies by the kitchen and all over the tables. we ended up throwing all of our food away. This restaurant was also really dirty the floors, the tables and the restroom. We had to buy food somewhere else. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE

I have been waiting for 15 mins and my dad won’t roll down the window, this place is maybe as good as the shit that came out of my ass. Honestly.

NEVER EVER EAT HERE. I would give this establishment negative stars if possible. 1. The Playland was closed with no explination, my children were bummed… but not a big deal. 2. I ordered a lettuce wrapped chicken sandwich and was rudely informed this was not possible. I asked if it could be made into a salad and the cashier rolled her eyes, sighed, and said I guess so. 3. I ordered two A1 sauce hamburgers (which were on special and being hugely advertised) for my travel companions only to discover they had no more A1 sauce AFTER I placed the order and received the hamburgers. Don’t you think they’d of mentioned that when I ordered? Did they think I wouldnt notice? Rather than offering me something else from the menu, she said but here’s some ketchup instead. Soooo… basically I paid more for a bacon cheeseburger. Gee thanks. 4. I opened my chicken sandwich to discover no lettuce had been added, and saw the thinnest tomatoes humanly possible on my chicken. I asked the cashier to add more lettuce, again a huge sigh before fulfilling my request. 5. None of us were overly impressed with the food quality compared to other Burger Kings but super hungry so we ate anyway. I went to refill our drinks only to find a HUGE COCKROACH in the fountain drink area hanging out over ice. 6. When I told the cashier about the COCKROACH she didn’t react suprised or appalled, she said she’d have someone handle. Again, no sense of urgency! I felt like vomiting. Next time I pass through this way (which I do once monthly) I’ll eat at McDonalds. Absolutely the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had.

breakfast sandwhich was cold. Bun was stale. meat tasted like it came from freezer. Their cinnabon is like a week old. This place sucks.

I don’t always eat fast food, but this place is horrible. The bread tasted stale, the meat was bland and tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for too long, and warmed up in the microwave. Also, their lettuce you could tell was old. Our party also ordered a cinnabon, and it was nothing like the cinnabon you get from the normal place, it was much smaller, and tasted really weird.
I don’t think I would ever come back here again. I don’t think that I will ever go eat at another Burger King.

I didn’t have high expectations considering all of the homeless people loitering around the neighborhood and the litter all over the parking lot, but WOW– this Burger King is absolutely terrible. Dirty, dingy, disgusting. The bathrooms had trash covering the floor, the sinks were dirty, and half of the toilets were clogged. I didn’t even dare order food after seeing the condition of the bathrooms, I didn’t want to risk getting sick. The restaurant manager should be fired for letting this restaurant be in absolute shambles like this! So gross!

Normally I wouldn’t review a BK out in the desert in the middle of nowhere, but this is my go-​to stop when driving to and from Vegas. I’ve been stopping at this BK for as far back as I could remember, literally since before I was even a tween.
Barstow is almost the exact midway point between LA and Vegas, so this is a good place to stop and rest for a bit. Whether it be a bathroom break, a meal break or even just a stretching break to relieve your back, you can’t go wrong with this place. There’s almost always parking and the dining area is huge, so space is never an issue. Restrooms are also clean pretty much all the time.

This joint is enormous. Obviously did not start out life as a BK. So the layout of the counter is a little odd. Almost like a cafeteria. Place your order at one end and pick it up at the other. No big deal.
There was a separate dining room I did not enter. Seating available in both large rooms. Unusual layout.
My food was hot and good. Eric behind the counter was helpful with directions.
The restroom was relatively clean but the toilet did not flush well. Seems like water pressure is low in Barstow as I noticed this at the WARM Museum as well.
There is ample parking. There was a decent crowd of what appeared to be local teens enjoying a meal.
Overall a good spot to stop for fuel on a road trip. But this is not exactly easy on, easy off. You do have to leave the highway and get on Main.

We actually had pretty great customer service, and it’s because our server was high as a kite — honestly, without sarcasm, I think that’s the best way to be when you work at BK. He was courteous, friendly, read off every salad dressing option with gusto, and giggled when I chose the balsamic vinaigrette (which I’m happy to report is gluten-​free!).
Side salads are $ 1.50 and have 2 (2!) cherry tomatoes in them, which is why I come here at all. My bf likes their burgers, but we have to both admit that this location serves them up floppy and small. Still tasty though, we’ve just had better elsewhere.
I’ve probably been to this BK 10+ times. I’m glad to see they have some new bathrooms opened up, and that their workers are having a good time. :-) I would definitely come back to see that guy again, and for the side salads. So good after a long drive.

Worst customer service ever. Stopped here on the way home from Vegas for some low-​expectation breakfast. The food was what you would expect so no complaints there.
It was the guy at the window who was extremely annoying. After giving him a card to pay for the food he quickly shot back «My machine isn’t going to read this card». Uhh, did you want to try it first?! «I just know, it won’t». He practically threw the card back at us and we should have just driven away but instead someone else in the car offered to pay making the entire experience totally inconvenient.
Like seriously dude, you can’t KEY in the card number? He was lazy and annoying, go to McDonald’s across the street.

This Burger King location is my go to stop on my way to/​from Vegas to Cali. I would estimate I have stopped here 20 times over the years. It is easy access to freeway. There is a big parking lot in the back with a grassy area where I let my dogs take a break. It has a huge dining area which for the most part is kept fairly clean. The food has always been fresh and cooked to order. My biggest gripe would be the bathrooms. They have never been very clean and they are so muggy. Stay alert at this location as it is popular with the tourists and I have seen a fair amount of «shady characters» in the parking lot.
This will continue to be my rest stop while I am on the road.

A good place to stop on the long trip to/​from Vegas. The place was kept very clean which was a pleasant surprise.
However, there was some employee there, who looked like he was about 15, who was just wandering throughout the restaurant doing absolutely nothing. I kept watching him waiting for him to do anything and the entire time I was there, the only thing I saw him do other than walk around every part of the place, was point to where the restrooms were. Come on now. It was a busy time for customers. Make yourself look busy.
