I will never go to another Chili’s restaurant. Bastrop Chili’s is under staffed. You can’t make a reservation, can’t use the app either it doesn’t work. They have tables available make you wait for thirty minutes to seat you.

Hubby and I stopped by Saturday for a much needed happy hour. Food and bloody Mary’s were very good BUT when you are sitting in the BAR area it is irratating to have a family with two little ones sitting in the corner. Of course they screamed, cried and other things little ones do. if we had sat in the general eating section, would expect this.

I eat here all the time and I just don’t understand what y’all are doing in the back that causes the food to come out very cold. Has happened on multiple occasions. No thanks I don’t want you to take it back and microwave it… Other than that the servers do a good job and the place appears to be clean when I’m there.

We went to there for lunch, we were not impressed. The dishes brought to table was not clean first time, asked for extra dish never came. The food was not hot at all. I gave 2 stars.

Service great. boneless chicken wings awful. They are chicken mcnuggets. Panko onion rings over cooked to near burn. Hard. all in all not good. This a few blocks from my home but will have to go to Austin since Bastrop has no other decent restaurants.

Worst experience EVER! After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes to place a to-go order, I was told my food would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes. Upon arrival approx 15 minutes later, food was sitting on the counter to go(for other customers) customers were standing around waiting, and no staff to assist. Finally, help arrived, we paid, but our food was not ready. Nearly 45 minutes later, an hour after placing our order, as food continued to pile up on the counter, I was handed our food. It had been sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes before I got it. Not surprisingly, the order was wrong. An appetizer, 2 entrees, and a kids meal, and they couldn’t get it right. I asked to speak to a manager, not only was the wait time unacceptable, but our incorrect order was cold. The manager wouldn’t come talk to me. So I left. With our incorrect, cold food, and doubt I will return anytime soon. Sad Chilis, just sad.

Started making this my go to Sunday afternoon stop. I usually go to the bar to watch the games. Love the service and the food is good also. One thing I would suggest would be to add internet wifi.

Been here twice this month. Service good. Food good. Drinks a little over iced and watered. But overall a pleasant, casual, chain restaurant night out. Nothing more. Nothing less. We will return.

Just curious why I had a happy hour menu at my table only to find out when i paid that it only applies to to the seats in the bar area. Weird…

My wife and just left after being refused service. We enterd, with our Texas A&M shirts on where the hostess informed us that they were a UT establishment — and did not serve Aggies.

This was FANTASTIC service! We came with 13 and then the teens(5) abandoned us for Panda Express next door. Losers! The food was great, the atmosphere cozy, and the service was outstanding(and very patient when the teens arrived after the bill was paid and decided they wanted desserts to go). We had been at Lost Pines Resort(where the food both days was just above room temperature) so a HOT meal was a nice change along with service that was on top of everything all the time(the opposite of Lost Pines)

Excellent service. We stopped in on A Sunday night at 5pm after MotoGP in Austin. They were slammed but the wait was still under 10 mins. Our server was friendly, bartender got drinks out quick and the manager came around to talk to us about the race. Our appetizer came out after the meal and he happily comped it. Thanks, Brett!

Don’t try fajita&shrimp combo! I should’ve taken a pic but it was the worst I ever had!

Been twice, the service was top notch!!! Hope it stays that way. Had some plate of nachos, think there were 8 separate ones. I Could eat them with my fingers. Omg, I crave them now!!! It’s a fun place to be when the service is having fun and is so friendly.

This resturat needs to be told how other chillis are run. The food does not meet standards. I won’t say no more. iI hope the manager reads this and visits other chillis to see what I mean. I want them to all keep working and making a living.

There was a surprise token in my chicken fried steak: a fried chicken tender. I laughed and laughed. And then, I cried. The mashed potatoes had a strange play-dough consistency. No, I didn’t make a phallic sculpture. The colorful magic seasoning on the gravy was magical. I have no idea what it was. Did I eat glitter? The white gravy was good. The corn-on-the-cob was tasty, but looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. I was confused. Did I bite the bottom, then the top? The portions were massive, though, but not tasty enough to take home. I got home and my stomach asked, «What did you do to me? Why must you punish me?» Holy Chorro-izo! I will go again, because I’ve been accused of being anti-social, and eating at the bar has some sort of entertainment value.

I use to go quit often. What I miss is the steak and ribs, although there where a few times when I did not get the steak as I like. The bar ladies take care of you quit well specially when you have one to many. You can not give enough thanks to those that go out of their way to take care of customers specially when they may have had enough to drink. Deserves a big tip.

Ordered a triple dipper(southwestern egg rolls x2, and the big mouth bites) and a kids cheeseburger, to go. Kids meal was fine, I didn’t hear him complain and his food was hot. What I received was egg rolls, boneless buffalo wings with blue cheese, and the sliders. Cold. All of it cold. Like it hadn’t even been cooked within the hour, cold. Not sure how they decided I needed buffalo wings, or that I even liked blue cheese… wouldn’t ranch have been a safer choice? Anyways, I didn’t realize any of this until I got home, so i tried to microwave my sad food, and it was gross. Just gross. Sorry Chili’s, I won’t be back. Next time try microwaving my food for me.

I always want Chili’s till I get there and eat. It is never as good as I remember as a child, but then again it was luxurious to eat out as a kid and now it is the norm and I do at least five times a week. This location is always crowded and the service it’s great, but the food is just bland. Good margaritas though.
