Pretty good happy hour but I usually stick to wine here because I am not very crazy about many of their specialty drinks I’ve tried. Food is good but almost always takes a long time to come out… really nice atmosphere and usually great service. It’s a cool place to have late night drinks with friends since they’re open until 2am so it’s the late night drinking minus the loud bar scene.

My fiancé and I actually just got home from eating at Bar Louie, and we normally go there one Tuesday a month for the 5 $ burgers. Normally, we go there at about 7 – 8 but today we decided to go a little earlier at 5. The restaurant is hardly ever packed, the atmosphere is usually welcoming but today it was different. The restaurant was near dead and we were greeted with all the servers sitting down at one of the booths laughing and texting. Aside from us, there was one other couple and another gentleman, all three at the bar. We sat in our normal booth expecting our usual server who was not present today. The girl who did serve us, although kinda, mumbled her words and when we were trying to get our drinks refilled, she didn’t bother to come over despite the fact that she and I made eye contact 5 times in a minute and every time she looked over I gently shook my hand to try to catch her attention. I will give her that when asked for a bit to decide on drinks and while eating she did not bother us, but it would have been nice if she could have checked on us a little more. As I said, the restaurant was nearly dead when we were there and we were her only customers. That’s not the only issue we ran into during our visit, while waiting for our food, we asked the bartender if she would be nice enough to change the channel on the tv facing us from the basketball game to the baseball game. Turns out, she wasn’t in charge of the bar tv’s(what bartender can’t control her own tv’s?), instead the manager was supposed to be in charge of changing the channel and she tried to ask him if he would. He simply looked at her with a dead«are you serious?» look, and walked away. He went and started joking with the servers, still in plain view while texting in the booth, then walked away to take a call. Which would have been fine if he wasn’t standing right in front of the food bar where the kitchen puts out orders. By this time, we had gotten our food but would have enjoyed catching the game with it. As far as the food goes, I ordered the fried Louie, which normally isn’t cooked to my liking but it’s always close enough for me to enjoy. Except this time, the top bun was dry, the bottom one soggy, the whole thing greasy and the egg itself? Half raw in the middle and near burnt on the edges. And the fried tasted as if they were sprinkled with sugar instead of salt. And at the end of the whole thing, that was when our server, that only showed up 4 times in the near hour we were there, said in a loud cheery voice: «Hope you enjoyed, please come again!» If this was the first time we came here, we would not have come back. It’s sad to see that the quality of this restaurant towards us depends on the one server we usually get. He normally makes our experience a happy one, even if something messes up. Yes, my fiancé and I are a young couple, but we try to make our visits to every restaurant a nice experience for us as well as the workers, because we both know how it is to work in the service industry. For this to happen at one of our favorite restaurants, it’s heartbreaking. It normally is a very nice place, especially for date night. However, we now know to not go before 7 pm.

My family loves Bar Louie! It’s never too crowded, and the service has been consistently good. Food is very tasty, and the specials are always interesting! LOVE the drinks, too. Coconut lemonade is awesome.

I’ve been to Bar Louies once before — for a quick drink but that’s it. So today I stepped in for a bite to eat at lunch. Immediate impressions are that I like the atmosphere. The room is modern upscale and has an open, airy feel — but not like open like a cafeteria or a Piccadilly sort of thing. This actually works. High tops and regular tables, couched and high back chairs and cider tables. Love the look. There’s a good outdoor patio area and bar, actually two so they are well set up for some solid night time entertaining. So High marks for atmosphere. A 4 to 4.5 there. I sat at the bar and had great service there from Bre — great work — she’s a solid 5 out of 5. The bar itself was pretty well set up with all the usual suspects and set up so that you can quickly figure out if they carry your own personal favorites. For lunch I ordered the Thai Chicken Flatbread — with Thai spiced chicken, mozzarella, provolone, green onion, red pepper, jalapeño, and a Thai peanut sauce. It was solidly good but without anything terribly creative going on. I imagine there are other dishes that would rate higher than this but — for now I’m giving the food a 3. So, the overall rating I think I would like to do a 3.5 but we can’t( Unilocal — are you listening?) — but the non– food aspects of the place(atmosphere and service) pull a 4 out of me which, if it was just the food being considered would be a little lower. But not bad and worth another look.

Went here with a friend on a Saturday night for a few drinks and some dinner. We arrived at about 9 and it took about 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Our waitress was awful. She would come back around about every 45 minutes to check on us and would check on other tables multiple times before she ever came to us. We asked her for water 3 times because she kept forgetting. Food was eh, nothing special. Due to our slow service we couldn’t even get a buzz off of the drinks we ordered because they were few and far between. At around 10:00 we noticed them setting up a DJ booth and it went all downhill from there. Apparently on Saturday nights they turn into a night club with a $ 10 entrance fee. The music was so loud and obnoxious, that we couldn’t even hear each other when we were yelling. We were really annoyed and wanted to leave, but our waitress was no where to be found to close our tab. We eventually found another waitress to try to flag down ours so we could close our tab. We spent about 45 minutes trying to find her. Overall; terrible service, okay food, okay drinks, and an unexpected night club.

Enjoyed a date night with the wife here. The food was much better then I had imagined it being and the service was great. We will be back again.

Food is alright. Service left something to be desired. Our party had three different people assisting us, and 2⁄6 had to wait 30 minutes for our food after the others were served. Two other people ordered beer which was also forgotten, then cancelled. One showed up later and the server said, «Well, it’s here now if you want it». One moody server + one very new server + one other person to bring some food = a less than stellar experience.

I was there on a Saturday, the food was very flavorful and price reasonable but there were no drink specials and the drinks were expensive. The restaurant was very humid and sticky feeling so I didn’t stay long because of the uncomfortable atmosphere.

More like a 3.5 star from me. Great place to hang out and have drinks. I noticed they have added new items to the menu since I previously visited, but I have yet to give them a shot. I do believe the drinks are legit and the atmosphere is great for a girls night out or even a nightcap with the beau. I had the chicken nachos before and I liked them well enough. During events or games it can get pretty busy. Service wise I’ve had pretty pleasant experiences. I think this spot is awesome for a girls night out but it’s just missing the mark for me when I think if date night with the beau. I can’t quite put my finger on what their missing for me. My guy thinks the atmosphere is nice enough but the workers dress code minimizes the ambiance. Maybe that’s it. Idk. The outside area is TODIE For but every time I’ve gone the seats are taken. And, well, honestly I’m too cold anyway lol. But, maybe sitting out there will give that certain feel that we’ve been missing. Either way I think everyone should give this spot a go.

Our group called and told them ahead of time the day and time we were coming. Only one waitress, a bartender and one cook for our party of 24. Took over an hour to get our food. Food was ok. Didn’t blame waitress, blame management for not securing enough wait staff. Not going back!!! Also, they were out of fish, and out of lemon crusted chicken noon on a Wednesday!!!

First off, I walked in here not knowing what to expect. I’ve never visited this place because I am hardly in this area, and when I am, I resort to the food court. I work late and was pleased to find the kitchen is open late and my options aren’t limited to nasty fast food or chicken wing establishments that do not target my boyfriend and me. I am also on the Keto diet and follow it to the T. By the grace of the low carb diet gods, my waiter also follows the Keto diet. He made it clear which options where best to stay within my macros and I wasnt stuck with a salad or grilled chicken. He was knowledgeable of what ingredients went into the food! I’ll request George every time I eat here from this point on!!!

This bar is nice, dark lighting, spacious, and always so quiet. It is a very nice place the food is pretty good. They have great Martinis. I think maybe it is not in such a good area that is why it is never packed… I am guessing many people do not go here for a good party time. But it is such a nice place. I wish more people would go. One night my boyfriend and I chose this bar and we were literally the only people in there for a while, we were wondering if they were still open. They should maybe try better advertisement or something. I would hate to see it go to waste, it just needs more of a crowd. And I have been during the week as well as on the weekend too. It is never that many people in there. We did have some amazing drinks here though, from straight shots, to Martinis, to fireball shots, oh the drinks are delicious!

What a Manhattan type of night, tonight at Bar Louis! I love it when a venue matches the mood of the night. Moreover, my server was neat and sharp, especially when it comes to her menu knowledge. The cocktails were prepared strong and fresh to order. Although, the food was a little bland, it was okay; because the ambience was so welcoming. The demographic, seemed to be between 25 – 40 with a nice mixer of both sex. This establishment is a great place for singles, boy’s night, girl’s night, I’m celebrating my divorce type of night, or for whatever type of adult night one can imagine. Average ticket is between $ 25-$ 55, so, pretty average ticket. Overall, Bar Louis, provided an amazing«kick off» to a sexy night!

Started off a little rocky! We were sitting at least 20 mins before we flagged down a waitress. She told us our server was coming and then took ownership and offered to take care of us. We ordered the sauza margaritas. They were $ 10 each and pretty strong. They weren’t the best but were pretty good. We ordered nachos and they looked a little sloppy. It tasted ok and had guacamole, sour cream and peppers on them. The atmosphere and ambience is wonderful but something is missing. It’s mediocre food, mediocre service and a beautiful place. It’s almost like everyone is just doing their own thing and not tending to customers.

We have been to Bar Louie many times in the past have enjoyed the drinks and food. However our experience at $ 2 martini night was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant event ever. We went to the 2 yr bash on 7÷15÷2015 at 6:30 pm. The place was crowded, but we found a spot at a table with some friends. We waited about 30 min before we could get the attention of a server. We ordered a round of drinks. After 20 min of waiting for our drinks, we went and placed an order at the bar. Two of the four drinks were not correct and had to be remixed. Once the drinks were corrected, they were pretty good. The Clover was very refreshing. We waited for another 30 min before we could get our servers attention to order food and a second round of drinks. We waited 30 min before again going to the bar to get a round of drinks. Our food never came and none of the drinks we placed with the server ever came. After 2.5 hours we left having only two drinks and very hungry after not getting our food.

Signed up for their free app when I was at Bar Louie the last time. Went back a week or so later to get the free appetizer that comes with signing up. I had the ginger shrimp wrap, which had a little more«sauce» than I would normally like on a lettuce wrap, but it was good, nonetheless. I had the Diva martini. It was quite marvelous! A shout out to our server, Rodney, here! He is great!

Food(sesame chicken wraps — very little chicken, and fish ‘sticks’) mediocre, the drinks(margarita and sangria) small and not memorable. Service at the bar pretty poor — barman would just disappear most of the time making it challenging to pay and get back on the road :(

Went here tonight — a party of five — no hostess so seat yourself yet they were pretty crowded this evening. We selected a table and eventually had someone to wait on us. One of the party ordered a glass of wine — when the wine was brought it appears the glass had just been taken from the dishwasher and there was still soap in it — soap smell. This wS brought to the attention of our server but he was not impressed although he did replace it. We ordered a bunch of appetizers — wings, mussels, pretzels, and bacon cheeseburger sliders —food was less than impressive. It acceptable. Also ordered 2 side salads and this was the most impressive. I like this place but sometimes the visit is underwhelming like it was tonight — still will return but it may be a few months instead of a few weeks

«Huge bar area, mediocre food and has potential for greatness». I have been here for a special event(free food) and yesterday was the first time I came here for lunch) to spend money. During peak lunch hour, the place was barren… kinda sad for a place that has so much potential. They are pretty popular for their $ 5 burger Tuesdays. One would think for a restaurant located near a mall area and some huge area hospitals that they would get more foot traffic. The food is good, but was not super impressed. We ordered the Veggie Flatbread(added chicken), Asado Shrimp Skewers With a Mango Salad and Potstickers. Unfortunately, the food came out lukewarm and like I said, was just mediocre. I was not fallin’ out of my chair from the deliciousness of the food. Restaurant chains are not my usually on the top of my list because there are so many local greats already. This place was chosen because I thought it would present an great social environment! It is definitely a great place to socialize because of the bar area and the friendly bartender. I seriously hope they start to take more pride in their food to get more a crowd returning. The sad part is that flies kept on landing on my leg… ugh, not fun! * Great Bar Area * Appetizers * Happy Hour * $ 5 Burger Tuesdays * Dinner * Kid-Friendly * Great For Groups * Great For Game Days *

Always hate giving a bad review, but here goes. Service: not so good. Friendly but bar drinks took a while, and after 20+ minutes waiting for my martini — server politely said that the bar forgot. Booze: Lots of great options as far as mixed drinks. I got the S’mores martini. Not the best chocolate type martini. Loved the graham crackers on the rim; however, they were stale. Also, friend recommended I try the ‘Effin Good martini. It was terrible, and 2 girls who had the same tasted mine and agreed it tasted terrible compared to theirs, so no consistency there. Food: I didn’t do the ordering, so tough to say. Tried some yummy apps, but what really stood out was their salsa was honestly the worst I’ve ever tried. One girl said perhaps it was cilantro but to me it tasted like Tabasco sauce, so not authentic at all. The guacamole also had such huge chunks of avocado that my chips were breaking. Atmosphere: High tables are a bit awkward for shorter folk like me. That being said though, seats are very comfortable, and the place is huge with lots of room for bigger tables. Their 2 patios are set up very nice with more comfy seating but too hot for me to have tried out in August. I’ll likely return because it is a cool hangout place, but I might express my opinions if the drinks are sub par again ;-)
