I went this morning around 9:30 and it was pouring outside and the drive-thur didn’t have a roof so I was soaking wet which is why I took off a star but the turkey croissant was delicious and the hot coffee was fresh and flavorful but next time I should probably go inside.

There’s a reason I’ve always been loyal to Mary Lee Donuts. All locations of Mary Lee I’ve found(per my years of experience as a patron) has the locally and family owned feel that seem to guarantee great customer service. I’ve been to Dunkin Donuts many times now since they opened in BR(dine in and drive thru), and to me, they have not yet demonstrated customer service as a priority. Today, the two workers at the cash register inside didn’t even smile the entire time my daughter and I were there and spoke so quietly I could hardly communicate with them. We ordered the food options we needed including an iced coffee for me instead of a hot coffee per my meal deal and an add on chocolate milk for my daughter. The iced coffee bumped the bill up about $ 2 even though I had asked if it would before I paid, and I didn’t find out till later that they didn’t have chocolate milk. Seriously? Seems like a must for a donut place lol. They didn’t charge me for it but also didn’t tell me they didn’t have it till I asked after I paid and asked specifically for it. I do like their donuts but not nearly as much as Mary Lee’s as the flavor and texture is just so much better with Mary Lee; however, their donut hole selection is more extensive and very yummy. They also have some decent sandwich menu options and special deals they offer periodically, but since I’ve had a 10+ year history working in the restaurant and customer service industry, I hold customer service as the top priority. So with how bad my experience was today and how mediocre it’s been in the past, I would say that they definitely deserve a 1 star review(which I rarely give) and hope that they will take this review and train their staff better.

I may be biased, but I LOVE Dunkin. I was looking for a place to grab some coffee and something to eat when I saw this location. This place was clean! Music in the background was not too loud. Comfy seats… It is my favorite season, pumpkin season, and DD does not disappoint. I got a pumpkin cake donut and a pumpkin cheesecake donut. Both were fresh, soft and moist and pumpkiny. The pumpkin cheesecake cake was awesome. Pumpkin flavored cheesecake filling! I had to resist getting a pumpkin latte to avoid overload. I did really enjoy the non flavored latte. I like a lighter coffee, so I am a big fan of DD coffee. Not over roasted. Service was great and fast! 5 stars.

In terms of donuts and muffins, this is NOT the place to go. Wow! Super dry sweets. Most(like 98%) of their baked items are shipped there over night from an outside source. Their drinks are pretty good but that’s it. Honestly, I was hoping for more but as they say… it is what it is.

Good donuts, good coffee, and quick service in a relatively clean restaurant for a very decent price. This isn’t my favorite donut place in Baton Rouge, but I’d definitely come back to this location of Dunkin’ Donuts when I’m on that side of town.

This location is very clean, with a nice interior. The staff is very friendly, and they always get my order right. I was surprised by how good DD coffee is, especially compared to the price. Half the price of Starbucks, almost twice as tasty.

I was thrilled to see that Dunkin has finally made its way to Baton Rouge. Their coffee is always great and low priced. They have such a selection of breakfast sandwiches as well. The drive through is efficient and the staff has been quite friendly so far. They also have free wifi so it’s a nice place to study.

Order picked quickly, stuff looked fresh, didn’t wait long for my sandwich, staff could be a little friendlier, but overall i’d stop here again. This looks like a newer store and the location is ok. It has a drive thru, but I went though the counter for piling what I wanted. I ate their egg white sandwich with veggies. I found it to be ok and warmed up alright. Hey, if I wanted first class breakfast, I’d hit a fancy spot, but for regular coffee, it’s hard to beat. Next time in Baton Rogue, I’ll hit this place up again.

This is for the new location on Bluebonnet. As for fantastic Glazed Donuts, Baton Rouge lost its source for these when Jay’s was forced to close. Those up at Mary Lee’s are a very distant second, and hardly any better at all than those at this new Dunkin’ or the Lucky Morning Donut Shop that opened up on Nicholson & Gardere a few weeks earlier. As for this DD shop, service is great and the cake donuts are sublime. I wish them much success in the coming years.

The first few weeks, the lines at this place were definitely long. But it’s unfair to judge them on that. The last time I was here, the lines were reasonably short. The service was also reasonably fast — those first couple weeks this place didn’t have the usual Dunkin efficiency, but they’ve gotten better. Listen, if you want a fantastic glazed donut in Baton Rouge, go to Mary Lee. If you’re like me, though, you don’t want a glazed donut all the time. Often I want a good, reasonably priced cup of coffee, and a choice of breakfast sandwiches, bagels and donuts. That’s what Dunkin does. Just because a Dunkin can’t match the sublime experience of a hot glazed from Mary Lee, that doesn’t mean there’s not a place in Baton Rouge for Dunkin. I for one am thrilled they’re finally here.

For the past few weeks, it’s almost become a Saturday evening ritual for me and my husband to come here and get donuts and coffee. We’ve always used the drive-thru. The lines sometimes move slowly but are nowhere as frustrating as Starbucks. We’ve had their plain coffee, cake glazed donuts, chocolate donuts, and chocolate and red velvet donut holes. Can’t say I was disappointed. The coffee could be better though. And it would make a lot of sense to give some stoppers like they give at Starbucks, to stop drinks from spilling in cars. I once tried their ham, egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. It was quite meh and very greasy. Enjoy your donuts, but don’t come back home and look up the nutrition content!

You would think at a new opening, the service and food would be outstanding. This definitely reflects on management, sloppy. we went through drive– thru and ordered a number 4 and 5. got the order but no hash browns, turns out you need to order it separately, people are already programmed to think of a combo as a drink and hashbrown(or fry). ordered a specialty donut because they had a picture of it on the board, but then he said it was seasonal and out of service. Then take it off the dang board! first impressions ARE everything and I was not impressed. If I was manager some things would change NOW! How can a chain in business for so long be so dang STUPID!. I have to scratch my head. I guess I have been in restaurant for so long and am very critical of how a customer should be served.

My three French crullers were soggy, cold, and not even crispy. So disappointed.

After a long anticipated arrival in the Baton Rouge area, I was very disappointed with the service and quality of food at this Dunkin. Long lines are to be expected in the beginning of a new store, but not 20 mins. They were OUTOF the classic glazed donut(how does this even happen) along with many others. I ordered a Boston crème because the cashier told me they were hot and fresh. It was cold and did not have ONEDROP of crème. Husband got the toasted coconut. Not sure when they stopped covering it on all sides with coconut, but considering it just had coconut on the top, it tasted dry and boring. We threw our donuts away. Will continue going to Mary Lee donuts, they are much better!
