Any grocery where the first thing you see walking in is a delicious Tres Leches cake has got to be awesome. Along side it in the case is Flan cake, Pie de Limon, and Volteado de Piña to tempt you into a self induced sugar coma of pleasure. The Bakery is stocked with Semitas, Galletas, Polvorones, Bolillos, Pastelitos Cubanos, Quequito and other good looking pastries I’ve never had before. The produce section is overflowing with tropical fruits all at great prices. There is fresh seafood, beef, pork and chicken in the butcher section, again all at great prices. They had whole tilapia that looked super fresh. The best part is the deli that serves lunch and dinner plates — choices include fried whole tilapia, coconut chicken stew, smoked pork loin, half grilled chicken and more. I hear they are going to open an additional location on Burbank by the Hibbett Sports which I’m excited about.

My favorite place to shop. They are nice and clean and have a nice wide variety of tropical fruits. I dropped by last night and ended up leaving with much more than I intended. This is the first time I have seen knippa(quenepa?) in Baton Rouge. Their hot food is also absolutely delicious.

«Panaderia, carniceria and so much more». Walking in to this store was so delightful with the bakery and all their beautifully delectable cakes displayed… tres leches — three times the yummy! Everything was so beautifully organized and the staff was super helpful. The store is not huge; don’t expect a Walmart or Albertson’s size. So, don’t expect to find everything you need here. I fell in love with the massive quantities of plantains and papayas. Exotic fruit is my favorite, which you will definitely find plentiful amounts here! This store must have just been recently placed here and I have heard many great things about it plus read a super cool review about it.

I stumbled upon this amazing store on accident, but I’m glad I did. Walking through the doors you are greeted with a wall of beautiful cakes! Cakes that make the famous«Berries Chantilly» look average! Lol The bakery is filled with delicious fresh breads, and pasteries. There’s a chilled section with fresh salsa, mago cups and sandwiches. Then there’s the Grill!!! You can smell the chicken on the open-flame grill from the doorway. The lunch bar is plentiful and loaded with items I’m ready to try. I decided to grab some rice. The staff was friendly. If you’re bi-lingual that would be helpful when reading product labels. The facility is clean and well ooerated. There is only one entrance for customers. The meat market is housed in the back of the store. You can find anything from ox tails to gulf shrimp at low prices. The produce section is loaded to capacity with beautiful fruits and vegetables. This is an alternative to Whole Foods if you ask me. Great experience! Highly recommended.
