Thanks Unilocalers for the great reviews that led me to come here.
Came in on a Sunday afternoon with my own frames and prescription and wanted to check on having the lens with the prescription put in the frames. They were SUPER SUPER nice! Paul, along with two other ladies were over the top! Excellent service, excellent suggestions and willingness to help. It only took about 20 minutes for the job to be completed. I actually expected to drop them off and pick them back up, but the option to wait was a sweet surprise.
They are so very accommodating, they offer a 20% discount — just because! & will assist you in filing with your insurance if you have any.
Super sweet. Great customer service. Definitely will be back if needed in the future. It’s local and they should definitely be supported. (right next to Trader Joe’s)

I’ve been a customer for over a year now. I love this store! They have a great selection of frames, including my now favorite, Modo, which I love for their lightweight and extremely comfortable design. I am pretty picky about how my glasses fit and it’s great to find a store with such a great selection (and not JUST heavy hard plastic frames like all the other mainstream stores). Patrick is very knowledgeable about lens design/​glasses and helping you pick frames that both complement your face AND will be comfortable for you long term. They also can have your lenses done in less than 30 minutes! The atmosphere of the store is great too — love the recycled pallets and layout. When the paint started peeling on my first pair of Modo frames, they switched out my frames for free since they were still under warranty! I love this store and highly recommend you check them out!

Gotta give these guys another great review. Today I stopped in to have my lens checked out due to some bubbling and I was treated to a «tune up» on both pair of sunglasses I had with me. (Even a pair that didn’t come from their store.) I received advice as to wait on my lens replacement since our hot weather was causing the issue. Another great visit and looking forward to my next!

Intransigent owner refuses to refund our money even though a $ 170 pair of frames broke after 37 days. Instead offers a replacement frame – utterly useless because the frame broke on the road and I had to replace it on the spot. He suggests it’s all the manufacturer’s problem, which means that it’s my problem. Strange thing is that we have shopped there before but get no acknowledgement of that.

Fashion is no longer for the body, now one can rock the latest trend and hottest designers for one’s eyes. Smarter Eyewear-​located in the Acadiana Shopping Center off of Perkins Rd-​is fashion forward with trending frames and design; such as, Tom Ford, Salvstore Ferragamo, and local designer Krewe Du Optic; as well as, Toms Optic. Designer eyeglass wear is available for both prescription and nonprescription. Price does varies and I examinations are not available.

Absolutely love this place. Usually hate the entire process of buying glasses, but going to Smarter Eyewear is truly an experience. From the awesome customer service to the fabulous selection of frames. I highly recommend at least stopping by to see for yourself how great this place is. I usually don’t find customer service at vision places very helpful, but the guys who worked there are great. They had a good selection of both economical and pricier frames — probably fewer per company on display than what you’d find at a larger place, but certainly enough to cover the style spectrum. They got my lenses made in about twenty minutes and I was on my way. Highly recommended. Thanks, y’all!

I definitely feel smarter with my new glasses from Smarter Eyewear, and a whole lot sassier! These guys take customer service to a whole new level, quite a welcome rarity! Make a point to go in and try on some of the coolest glasses anywhere! Leave looking like you just stepped out of some tony hipster joint in NYC. My only wish is they would knock it off with all the hashtags on Facebook. I am not that smart!
