Tiny restaurant but good food! Extremely filling, my boyfriend had burger with onion rings and I ordered chicken sandwich with fries. So much food we couldn’t finish it all !

I went here with my girlfriend for lunch and holy moly! Bareburger is always so good everywhere, but for some reason, this was exceptional! I got the bison burger with some condiments and the special sauce and I ate it so fast that the bus boy cleared my plate and said, «Wow, that was fast, sir.» Unreal food!

I kept thinking how this was going to be a terrible experience because of how the night started. Our hostesses really didn’t seem to want to try at all. We told them we were a party of 7(6 adults, 1 child), and they said they weren’t sure how they were going to seat us, and it would be anywhere from 15 minutes to 40 minutes, it depends, they don’t know. We asked if we could put our names down, and they acted very hesitant to do so. They said something along the lines of, I guess you can, but really, we just don’t know how the seating will be for you. It was as if they didn’t want our business! We asked if we could leave our number, and they can call us as soon as a table was ready, and again the hesitation! We thought it would be a good idea if we sat for tea or yogurt somewhere else while waiting for our table(it’s usually a good idea to keep a 4 yr old preoccupied when possible). So when we finally left our name and number, we decided to stand around and wait anyway, because we just could not be sure they would remember us otherwise. Once we were seated, however, service was excellent! They got all our orders right, and answered all of our questions, and everything came promptly. The food, as usual, was very good. I tried their salads for the first time and it was delicious! So the actual meal more than made up for the bizarre fuss we had to deal with prior to be seated.

All the burgers offered on the menu sound delicious. My husband likes the Bison. I like any burger with a fried egg! My friend ordered the boar. We all did medium rare. All were delicious. Just kinda wish they were bigger, ha ha. The brioche buns are a nice touch, compliments all the burgers well. Would totally recommend their variety of dipping sauces. Because we ordered the small fries and rings, it doesn’t come with sauce. When I asked for it, the waiter politely told me it’s $ 0.55 /each. I didn’t mind but did find it a little nervy given they didn’t even offer«free» ketchup. Only the large order comes with the sauces. Their spicy ketchup and their mustard mix sauces were great. I also liked their bbq sauce. Besides their delicious coffee, try the rosemary limeade. I enjoyed my outing here!

Way too hyped up. Food was ok. The fries were soggy and not very tasty. The burgers themselves were very disappointing. My wife and I ordered a Bison burger and an Elk burger. We made it our own way and we were both shocked at how bland the meat was and how there was no seasoning in the meat. Very disappointing to say the least. Service was incredible and the place was packed but we still got all our food quickly. The server was great too, I believe her name was Rose or Rosie. She was extremely nice and helpful in trying to understand the menu. The place itself was nice also. Nothing too big but not small. Pricing was a bit steep as well.

Not cheap, but the breadth of burger meats and accouterments is pretty outstanding. Just got the regular stuff. Emu and bison are fun to look at on the menu(sorry PETA), but let’s be honest, we’re mostly regular beef folk. Beef patty, cheddar cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce — the usual. Plus fries! Nom nom. Beware of the ketchup bottles. One exploded all over me and it happened in a blink. All of a sudden I was smothered in a bloody mess of ketchup. On my shirt, my arms, and my forehead. It was quite a show. But the waitstaff were awesome! None of them saw this happen so imagine their shock when I approached them with some weird red liquid dribbling down my elbows. Staff helped me clean up and later, the manager approached me and offered to pay for dry cleaning and also added two free desserts of my choosing for FREE! Dope. Dope. Dope. The ice cream floats were DOPE. And organic, or local! Or something.

So came to have dinner with the family and we had a great time. Walked 6pm, got a table with no problem. We tried 2 beers the omegong and victory golden monkey, the golden monkey was delicious. I didnt bother to order any of the already made burgers. I went to the basics, sprout bun, jalapeño jack, lettuce & tomato and a medium rare beef pattie. We also got the order of ½ onion rings and ½ sweet potato fries with the 5 sampler sauces.(Spicy horse raddish, homemade ketchup, thousand island dressing with pickles, curry ketchup and bbq sauce) the sauces were a great addition to thefriehe but pair well with the burgers. Just be aware the victory golden monkey is a high alcohol beer 9.6% so if u are not used to that, you can get messed up quickly without realizing. We had a great waitress very ewfficien and engaging and service was fast.

I came here on a Friday night to enjoy a quick meal before returning home and I was actually pretty impressed. I ordered a sarsaparilla and a Duck Duck Gouda(which feels silly just typing that out). Both came relatively quickly for a Friday night! The sandwich was delicious, with evenly melted Gouda on top of chunks of well-cooked meat and a sunny-side up egg. To be honest, it was reminiscent of breakfast for dinner and I really enjoyed that. I’ve been to this location in the past, and while the food was generally good the service was terrible. The staff looked irritated and overworked and they were particularly unfriendly to my family. I don’t know if there is a frequent turnover in staff, but I was especially pleased with my server. He wore a great bun and glasses and was very efficient, friendly and hysterical. He was a real sweetie and I can’t wait to stop by again to say hello!

Staff are always smiling and prompt. The food is getting me fat, but they are missing the pesticides, other chemicals and hormones that I expect elsewhere. Firequaker burger is my favorite and I never leave without ice cream of some sort. Beer selection and food quality makes this place a brainer.

Was craving for some American food and immediately thought of here. Why? Because its a healthier option compared to the other choices out there. The service was good. I came here a little after noon, so they had just opened. Needless to say, we were seated immediately. After looking through the proteins I was a little disappointed seeing not all the meats are organic. Only the easy to find meats are. Eg. Beef and chicken None of the preselected combinations caught my attention so I decided to create my own bison burger. When it was it was just so delicious and juicy! When I took my first bite I was happy I had chosen to come here for lunch. I’ll probably be back whenever the rare situation of craving a burger comes around again.

I’m not a fan of Bareburger but my sister really wanted it. Since I always strike out with the burgers, I had one of their salads for the first time. I got the cali fresh with kale, quinoa, hummus, veggies and alfafa. It was the«small» portion but it was huge! Very generous helping and filling. It was all fresh and crisp — my only suggestion would be less alfalfa. There was so much that I had to take most of it out and I felt bad wasting it. The fries and onions rings basket was great — perfectly fried and crispy — comes with a couple different sauces — didn’t care for the smoky one but their special sauce is tasty. This was my first time to this location — much smaller than the Astoria ones. Most of the seating is for tables of 2. I guess they didn’t feel like pushing two tables together because they first wanted us(group of 4) to sit at a high table with stools. My mom is in her mid-60s and would be uncomfortable sitting without a backing. I thought it was weird the waitress directed us there. We asked to sit somewhere else and got the funky wood table. It’s a huge piece of wood(the trunk?) that looks cool but isn’t that comfortable either. The top of the table is huge but the legs are really close together. Having two seats next to each other doesn’t really fit. The waitress wasn’t that friendly — it wasn’t crowded so maybe she was bored and indifferent.

I came here with a friend because she had been craving bareburger for months. It was my first time at bareburger and I’m always down to try new things. The restaurant itself is a bit in my opinion. It had a Midwest cowboy setting which I thought was pretty cute. The service and waiters were amazing. Now on to the menu, I do enjoy trying new things but the meats they offered were a bit weird. They had bison as ostrich. I just got mine replaced with beef. My friend got bison and she would’ve preferred the beef over bison. The smoothies were good but sweet! If you have a sweet tooth then I would suggest you go for smoothies.

You can’t throw the dinner selection in Bayside Onto the wayside, For the there’s a volume of restaurants to take pride. On Bell I found this little spot, I marched in with a thought, Wondering why Unilocal said this place was so hot? How about a lamb burger? A elk burger ??? Even quinoa patties, too! They’ll even let you top them with a cheese colored blue! The organic beers are just fine, They’ll get them to you just in time, Long before you bid adieu. The price isn’t too cheap, However, the selection is varied and neat. Leaving here with a big frown would be quite a feat!

This was my first time here. Glad we came early because the place is small and fills up fast. But don’t let the size fool you. This restaurant delivers. The hostess and waitress were super friendly. I had my 3 year old with me(who just woke up from a short nap and was super cranky) and we were seated immediately. The waitress gave us the run down on the menu and brought out our drinks in record time. I liked that the waitress was readily available but didn’t hover or rush us out. Of course, the hubs ordered the 34 oz 6 point Brooklyn beer. Two thumbs up. Obviously I drove home. Now to the best part… the food. My husband ordered the«put it together yourself» beef burger with yummy fixings along with a side order of the fries/onion rings, pickles and Cole slaw. It can get a little pricey as you have to order everything separate, but totally worth it. Don’t judge me for this, I know this is a burger joint but I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. How could I??? I know, I know but I stand by my decision… Who knew this would be the chicken sandwich that changed my life!!! A must have. Order it, savor it. I will be going back on Sunday for take out. I am hooked.

One of those places where you have to try at least once. What I really like about this spot is the wide selection of patties and modifications for your burger. Ranging from a regular beef patty to even boar and elk this place has some great choices. I was looking for something kinda simple and the County Fair caught my eye. Armed with bison, cheddar, dill pickles, red onions, tomatoes, green leaf, mayo all sandwich between a brioche bun, this burger was great! I also had the special of the day which I forgot the name of the dish… but think of it as fries topped off like it was nachos. I only dropped a star for the taste of the food. It wasn’t WOW but it was good. Everything else was great in my book and I do recommend to check this place out if you’re a burger lover.

I Pass this place all the time, and its always crowded. So we finally felt it was time to stop in on Sunday. All I can say is I definitely see why its crowded. The food and service is great! Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable about bareburgers food. This was helpful for us who are newbies here. She gave us great recommendations and even allowed us to sample some of the sauces. We started off with the regular/sweet potato fries to share as an appetizer. Both were good with the sauces served on the side, but I think overall the sweet potato fries were better. I had the wiki wiki wich was delicious, juicy and full of flavor. My boyfriend made his own and his father had the buckaroo. For people who are not into burgers, we were digging these burgers! I usually don’t order burgers anywhere… but I would definitely come back here again for one! The only downside to this place, is the price. I get it though, its pricey because its all organic.

I probably wouldn’t eat here as much as i do if i didn’t live down the block. The food is good but it is overpriced which causes me to give 3 stars. I have had some Delicious burgers(that i create my own) but then when i go off the menu i seem to enjoy it too much because its too dry and for $ 15.00 the last thing i want to be eating is a dry burger. The fries and sauces are good. The salads are yummy too but again, $ 14-$ 16 — not that yummy. The snicker doodle sandwich is amazing and so are they shakes! well worth it. I really enjoy their brunch though. its about $ 15.00 — comes with juice&tea. Entrée&side choice. All really good. I always do the hungry bear, with french toast two eggs and quinoa hash or sweet potato fries. They have my favorite jasmine tea to finish off the meal. The ambiance is cool and the service is always stellar. The manager is good guy as well.

I’ve been to this place before but recently had just revisited and had forgotten how amazing the burgers are! I ordered the«Hog Wild,» which consists of wild boar, pimento cheese, fried egg, chickpea onions, pickled green tomatoes and on a brioche bun. Every bite of this was amazing. Therefore, I would absolutely recommend it. I would like to revisit again and each time, try a new Burger on the menu, because they all sound so appetizing. I would say this stands up to be one of my top Burger spots. Staff was amazing as well, very friendly and attentive.

You’ve heard it from 246 carnivorous Unilocalers, so now let’s allow the vegan to weigh in: Bareburger is a pretty sweet meal. This is my second time at a Bareburger and my first time at this one in Queens. I’m happy to report that service is as top notch here as it is in Brooklyn. On a rainy Tuesday night, when I was feeling both crummy and hangry, our greeters and servers were welcoming, even when we asked to be moved to a booth because the draft was coming from the door to our table. Our waitress replied with a smiling ‘no problem’ and proceeded to moved our menus and water glasses with no complaints. If that didn’t set a positive tone already, the peach bellini definitely did. Sweet, fizzy, and refreshing, it’s a drink that I’d love to have with brunch, but burgers and fries would have to do. Like all Bareburgers, this establishment has three main parts to their entrée menu: their signature burgers, build-your-own burgers, and the appetizers. Forget the salads — you don’t come to a place named Bareburgers and order a salad(and when a vegan tells you to avoid the salads, one would do well to listen). If you’re on a low– or no-carb diet, you can switch out the bun for a collard green wrap. The signature burgers draw from a wide array of animal meats, from bison to elk to turkey, with two vegan/vegetarian options. The indecisive customer can pick from this selection; it takes the brainwork out of ordering. But if you’re into customizing your meal, the build-your-own menu is a grand time, picking and choosing what you want atop your burger. Just be warned — some of these additions will run your till quick. I built my own, with a farmers quinoa patty, vegan cheddar, guacamole, condiments, and an assortment of veggies, and my burger jumped from the base $ 8.80 to nearly $ 14 just like that. At that price tag, I consider this a gourmet burger, and for that, it’d better punch some serious taste buds. So how was it? Of the many veggie burgers I’ve had, especially in Queens, this was certainly on my top 10, for flavor alone. The quinoa burger was tasty and I’m not sure what brand of vegan cheddar they’re using, but it was stretchy and tangy(much like Daiya, if you’re familiar with the brand). The only downside was that the patty started falling apart on me three bites in, forcing me to put it down and dig in with a fork and knife, and that always feels just a little prissy when I’m only eating a burger. My date, a non-vegan, daringly decided to order the same burger. Her verdict? «It tastes healthy,» she pronounced, after her fifth bite. Take that to mean what you will. The fries, which we ordered with our meal, were tantalizingly fresh and crisp, and immediately cut the conversation at our table short like all good fried carbs should. They were, in my opinion, the high point of the meal. If you like burgers, if you like fries, if you like the thought of consuming various animal meats that you wouldn’t get anywhere else(or, like me, if you dread the thought of eating any animals at all), if you’re okay with paying gourmet prices for a slightly-above average burger… you’ll have a good meal here. If nothing else, the warm and friendly service should guarantee it.

I mean, it’s a Bareburger. If you’re feeling like having a filling burger, but don’t feel like clogging your arteries, Bareburger is a solid choice. Granted, you’ll be spending quite a bit more than you would say at a five guys or shake shack, but it is what it is. This particular location is quite small compared to the others I’ve visited, but it’s the same concept. You pick a type of burger, type of meat, type of bread and then whatever sides or apps you want. I had the big blue bacon, which is always great even though it sounds like I’m ordering a UMich burger(and the Wolverines suck.) Crumbled bleu cheese, sautéed mushrooms, fried onions and BBQ sawse, and I opted for the bison and the brioche bun. My friend and I split the sweet potato croqs and an order of the fried pickle chips, and you do not need to bother with anything else on the menu. Those are the supreme«I want to be a fatty» apps and you will not be disappointed. You get an assortment of four sauces(honey mustard, buttamilk ranch, chipotle mayo, and another one whose name I keep forgetting) so your pickle chips and croqs won’t get bored. The burger was cooked just slightly past medium, but was still delicious. The only discernible difference between this BB and the one I frequent in Brooklyn is that the waitresses here look really pissy and annoyed as they type your orders into old iPod touches while in Brooklyn, the jolly hipsters type your orders into iPad Minis. Damage: two burgers and two apps = $ 52 before tip. Yeah.
