Burger King

Wow!!! What a very very strange experience…
I happened to be in the neighborhood while waiting for a tow & this BK was right down the block. Since I’d be waiting a while & it was dinnertime, I decided to stop in for a bite.
I ordered one chili cheese dog & a small drink. I ordered mine separately from my boyfriend who was still deciding. Basically right after I ordered, he ordered the chili cheese dog as well but he ordered the combo. Simple enough, right? At that point there were really no other customers in the joint. Within maybe 2 minutes tops, my hot dog arrived & by then there were a few other customers that began ordering. I figured my b/f’s dog should be arriving at any second but we stood there watching them prepare bag after bag behind the counter… no hot dog in site! Another customer who ordered after us got her burger. I tried getting the attention of one of the ladies who was preparing the bags but she totally ignored me. Finally, another lady came to the register & I told her my b/​f ordered a hot dog right after I did a while ago & still no hot dog. She asked someone in the back & then told us they were still making it. In the meantime we watched them preparing burger after burger after burger. How long could it take to cook a «cooked» hot dog for God’s sake!!! I mean it’s not like they had to actually make the hot dog by hand! Jeez… So we just stood there waiting & waiting & so I asked again… She told me it would be ready shortly… (heard that before)… Well, it finally made it about 10 minutes after the order was placed (we double checked the time on the receipt)! Not sure if the lady was a manager but she was nice enough to throw in some free cookies for dessert, I guess, to try to make up for the ridiculousness of the wait (for a lousy hot dog)…
As I mentioned, the whole experience was definitely REAL strange in this place… Just a very odd vibe going on. One of the guys working there was walking around whistling & singing. Then at some point, I caught site of one of the people behind the counter who was bagging the food, breaking into dance. Then there was a customer who obviously had some issues…
I spotted him before I sat down so I decided to move to a corner window away from him. He was no bother or anything. After he finished eating he left the establishment & was standing outside with his drink in hand, smoking, staring off across the street, smiling oddly at nothing, pacing back & forth, walking up & down right in front of the BK. He just kept pacing & walking & smiling, looking in the window & then ended up coming in thru the back door to refill his drink. He was very restless along with the employees it seemed. On the brite side, I guess all the entertainment helped to pass some time while I waited for my tow.
Yeah… very strange indeed… lol

After reading the reviews of this place, I can’t believe, not one person mentioned the cleanliness of this place, it is filthy. I’ve been using the drive through so I wasn’t aware of this, never again.

It’s Burger King I don’t ever expect much except a whopper and fries but yesterday was just really odd. My burger was hardly warm but the pickles were ridiculously hot, like I burnt the top of my mouth hot, that was a first

UGH ! I have given this particular establishment 4 opportunities to do the right thing. It is impossible to be served what you paid for, check your bags. The condition of much of what is served is beyond acceptable — much in the way of the burgers are cold and old and don’t even think about the new hot dogs advertised on TV. I’m finished with this place and hoping that I’ll be served a decent meal here — it’s just not a possibility. Sadly, the crux of the problem must lie with poor management. Isn’t the manager watching what is being served to the customers and how frequently people come back with the wrong order given to them?

Its Burger King, this location is on par with the other ones i have been to. Food is good and inside is relatively clean.

i come here like five times a year for the past 10 years. I generally come when i continue to see the Burger King commercials during a football and basketball games. So to some it up, the Burger King marketing department plan has been working just to get me off the couch and drive two miles to the spot lol. I generally pick up the $ 5 for 2 sandwich deal or use my survey coupon. The facility is spacious and this location has a lot of parking spots. The drive thru can be quit lengthy but that’s the price the consumer has to pay for not having an over saturation of this franchise.

Came here last month on October 24, at around noon for lunch. Upon entering with my friend and our daughters we noticed that there were very long lines at the front registers. Our girls took this opportunity to go play in the indoor play area. The lines were long but did move fast. The service here is excellent! So appreciate this in a fast food joint.
I ordered my daughter a cheeseburger from the dollar menu, a small fries and an apple juice. They called my number to go pick up the order in no time at all. Our girls were having a ball in the play area and didn’t want to come out! We sat down in a very clean booth and enjoyed the food. The fries were very warm and fresh. Soft on the inside with a crisp to them on the outside. Pretty much perfectly cooked! I couldn’t help but steal a few from my daughter who got mad at me for doing so.
After our meal the girls wanted to go back into the play area but we were in a time constraint because they had a class at Alley Pond Environmental Center nearby. Based on this experience I will definitely be coming back here, especially since I have Burger King coupons to use. I think this is a very nice fast food joint.

What can you say? It’s BK. You’re coming for a fast burger & fries. Tried the Halloween burger today. Not a fan, tasted like burned A1 sauce. Drive thru staff is always good. One of the few fast food places where the staff always seems happy. Orders always correct.

It was a long day of work. G said he was good with BK, so BK it was. Convenient and on the way home.
I will say, wow is this place busy for a later in the evening stop. I will refrain from saying exactly what my order was, but what I will say is that they did give it to me exactly my way and for that I give this visit a 4 star.
The restaurant looked clean and the service was relatively fast considering the amount of people in the restaurant. When my order was ready they bagged it in a plastic bag for me which was really nice. I also asked for barbecue sauce and I was provided at no extra charge.
The restaurant was clean and free of debris and the drink station was fully stocked.
No complaints, it was prepared correct and I didn’t have to cook it. Yay!

Ordered via drive-​thru very often.
They only got my order half of the time.
Wrong items were in a bag, muffin vs croissant or sugar in coffee when I asked for no sugar, etc.
Drive-​tru attendents were usuaaly kind but kitchen staffs need to improve.
Also when you order, they will ask you if you want med or large so that you can choose between two. But it will cost you more money since your order comes with small size. So if you don’t want larger size than small then you HAVE to tell them small.

We had lunch there. The service was fast, and friendly. I had a veggie burger and my wufe a 2 for 1 chicken burger. The burger was good but was laced with ketchup and mayo, my fault for not specifying what i wanted. They also have whole wheat rolls. The salad was a bit wilted. Unsweetened ice tea was good. Overall a good experience, 12 dollars fir 2.

This Burger King is the WORST Burger King possible. The employees are RUTHLESS. They call the police on you fifthteen minutes after you pull over from the drive thru late at night. You can’t even eat your meal after you paid for this shit. They employees are very young and immature and stupid. They are hiring the slime from under the sewer and bringing it up into this world. At night the employees take about half an hour to bring out the order. It’s completely ridiculous, please get RID of these night and day Employees.

Not bad Burger King. Easy parking, fast and reliable counter service if you want to make an exception. Has a cleaner most of the time for service, although at times, can get behind if very crowded with teens.
Soda fountain machine has been partially broken for several weeks. Has paper sign on one of the dispensers? Why?
Suspect this place has family ownership which may explain why it’s a cut above others in this chain.

So I’m driving back and forth on Northern BLVD with the kids in the back seat. They are screaming for something fun to do. Play area, fun place, park, something!
I drive by a McDonalds and think, «I went to one yesterday… can’t take them to McD’s two days in a row.» Then BAMB!!! Here comes Burger King with a HUGE play area! Yeah!
Dad’s happy, the kids are happy and I get to drink a chocolate milkshake.

One of the best Burger Kings out there. The service is good and the place is clean. There is always someone cleaning the place or cleaning the bathroom. If they make the order wrong they make it again without complaint. This is one of the cleanest burger kings out there.

As far as I know, this BK has one of the most spacious parking lot in Queens. The L shape drive thru is great compare to most other fast food chains in the area. Eating area is clean with a cute indoor child play area. Friendly staff too. 4 stars!

I often go to this burger king because it is close by. The food here is just like any other burger king obviously. When I usually have anything to say about a fast food restaurants, it is usually about service. The place has many employees and it appears that the place is usually busy. The service is usually hit or miss, sometimes you get someone polite sometimes you get someone not as nice. Fries are pretty good and overall this place is reliable for a decent fast food burger.
I would recommend this burger king.

I actually like this Burger King (compared to the world’s biggest piece of shit BKs in Times Square) because it was my old neighborhood joint and it was actually well-​run.
Fast forward to today and I am glad to see the place is still very organized and well-​operated. The folks here are friendly, attentive and they really go out of their way to get the food out as soon as possible. They even are kind enough to bring the food out to elderly customers. It’s also fairly clean and the bathrooms are actually usable.
Bonus points for still having a children’s area for kids to play at. My one beef here is that the drink machine area is really gross. It’s sticky as hell and I really think most people are fucking animals. If they can keep this place cleaner than it would be the true epitome of a perfect fast food joint.

This is a great drive thru and sit down place. $ 3.00 dollar morning sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich is always a great deal. Friendly staff.
The drive thru lane people are always friendly and you are always welcomed to use as many coupons at this place as well.
The place inside is not the cleanest, especially the children’s play area looks really unkept, the bathroom as well.
The food is consistently very good here and they have a huge parking lot that wraps around to the other side. Close to the cross Island parkway southbound entrance

Burger King has a few advantages over McDonald’s. For starters, their ad campaign with «The King» was great. A few years back, he showed up everywhere. He even showed up in video games.
One of the other advantages is that Burger King has their own version of a non-​meat burger. That’s right, a burger for vegetarians. Now, I know that if you’re a hardcore vegan, going to Burger King for a vegetarian meal just might defeat the purpose. Let’s say though, you’re traveling through the Midwest region. If you’re not aware, the Midwest is the fast food capital of the world. So if you’re vegetarian traveling through these areas, and really hungry, you might want to keep that in mind. Unless it’s a regional thing.
Anyway, back to Bayside, Queens. My feet were in pain, so I needed somewhere to sit for a while. Originally I was just gonna get fries, but when I found out there’s a vegetarian burger being served here, eh, why not?
The fries were greasy, as it was obvious through the blots on the paper tray liner. Typical of fast food really. I’m not gonna hate on this location. In fact, the four stars is for the fact that this Burger King even has a vegetarian option on the menu.
This particular location is a better alternative than it’s local main competitor, McDonald’s. On Bell Boulevard, and in Oakland Gardens, those McDonalds’ are in total disarray. On any given day, those two McDonalds are crawling with rowdy after-​school kids, disgruntled locals, and rent-​a-​cops on a power trip.
In particular, the Oakland Gardens McDonald’s hired security during the day to regulate the teenagers that trample through the place. Only the rent-​a-​cops are just as douchey. These guys will even harass the quiet older diners, who look as if they’re in their late teens/​early twenties. I’ve seen one security guard time them to make sure they just eat their meals and go. However, these diners weren’t doing anything wrong. Guess the security guards here don’t have anything else to do with their lives outside of their shitty job. Yup. Good old fashioned power trips to make up for the lack of completeness in other areas.
Also, the bathrooms in both McDonalds’ are dirty. The Burger King location in Bayside however, is actually pretty clean. The difference between the diners in this Burger King, and the diners in both McDonalds is like night and day. Here in this Burger King, the diners were quiet, and mostly kept to themselves. Oh, and my vegetarian meal combo was cheaper than the McDonald’s combos. This Burger King has come a long way from serving a burger with a rat in it.
