I enjoyed a wonderful lunch on a cold Saturday afternoon. Very small, clean restaurant, but comfortable seating. The lunch specials are inexpensive with high quality sushi. I enjoyed miso soup, salad and 3 rolls of my choice for $ 10. I chose spicy tuna, salmon and avocado tempura. Delicious! My only complaint is that my soup and green tea were not hot enough. Servers are friendly and accommodating. They also do a lot of take out orders which adds to the wait time for the sushi, but it can’t be prepared in advance, so that’s how it goes sometimes.

Just had a dinner here, i nvr tried this place but im def going back. I had tempura udon, 3 roll combo with appetizer of squid dish for two. Bill came up to around 30 dollars and i left with a happy stomach. Their sushi is good, fresh but nothing that special. Their udon was really good as well and came in big portion. What i really loved was the squid apptizer and it was really savory. I def recommend it. Staff is really welcoming and its a comfy place to sit in. Theyre mostly booth seats so i liked that too.

The 3 roll combo special got me through the door. For $ 10.95 you get 3 regular rolls and soup and salad! I got the Spicy salmon, salmon and eel avocado. My favorite was the spicy salmon, the plain salmon roll was meh. Food and price were decent for what you get. I’ll be back to try the other specials they have posted on their interior wall. I love the interior and the staff was very warm and friendly :)

Really fantastic sushi restaurant. Place is really pretty and the wait staff is lovely. The food is delicious. You can’t beat the $ 10 special they have: 3 select rolls with miso soup and small salad.

The lunch specials are good deals, especially the tempura udon and sushi & sashimi bento box. With these come a salad and miso soup. The portions are filling. We also tried the sashimi bento and sushi bento. The sashimi is not the best I’ve tasted but not bad. The yellow tail, salmon, clam and scallop are pretty decent. The red tuna, however, is so-so; it didn’t taste that fresh. The sushi here is better than the rolls, in terms or aesthetics and taste. Really not bad for a sushi place in suburban Queens. Affordable, and good value for what you pay for. I’d come here again if I craved sushi in this area.

Just, NO… Party of 3… All agreed this place won’t last long. Below is a breakdown of what we ordered. The only reason for even giving 2 stars is that the staff was very nice… Appetizers… * Steamed Pork Gyoza — Not bad. Only thing we really liked. * Octopus — DISGUSTING… They put these fish flakes on top that made the dish appear to move in a very creepy way. Getting past that, the octopus itself was very rubbery and tasted like fish food(likely to the flakes on top) * Side House Salad — WAYYYY to much mayo in their dressing and they overloaded the salad with dressing. Main Courses * Ramen Soup — WAYYY too much oil(think Exxon Valdez) and no flavor whatsoever. My friend had maybe 3 spoonfuls and pushed aside. * Various rolls — From basic california roll to 4 other specialty rolls, there was no flavor. My friend who NEVER uses soy sauce, had to put some on to get some flavor to his dinner. All in all, we were VERY disappointed with this experience. Glancing over at the table next to us, they didnt seem to enjoy theirs much either.

My favorite Sushi Chef just opened this beautiful new restaurant on Bell Blvd in Bayside. Oh the sushi is so fresh and very tasty. We love Mi so Horny(not on the menu but he will make it by request. Also another favorite is «Hooker». Open everyday from 10:30 am to 11pm but open until Midnight Friday and Saturday. You have to try the taco salad, yum.

Apparently the three roll combo with a soup and salad for $ 10 plus tax is applicable in the evenings? Who knew?! I definitely didn’t. I initially ordered a miso salad, an eel avocado roll, and an Alaska roll. A customer came a few minutes after me and the waitress told him about the three roll combo, so afterwards I politely asked if I could add an additional roll and have the promotion apply. They agreed and I added a California roll. Overall, this was a very enticing deal but I found the rolls lacking. I would definitely patron other sushi establishments in the area.

3.5 stars to be exact. I come here a lot to get their lunch special. 3 standard rolls for 10 $. I wouldn’t say its bad but they are poorly made. Looks like they took 1 min to make 3 rolls. I would recommend the eel avocado and shrimp roll. Their lunch special bento chicken box are okay. The chicken’s extremely dry. Ive tried the beef bento box one before and it wasn’t pleasant either. Beef were chewy and overcooked. For the price and the amount of food it comes with, it would be something i would order again. You should call about 30 mins ahead of time if you want to pick up. One time i waited 50 mins for food. The owners were extremely apologetic but thats not an excuse if you told me to come in 15 mins.

Nice little sushi spot. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I only had the fried ice-cream and It was okay, a bit on the doughy side. Nothing special, just okay.

Horrible. Placed an order for delivery at 730. by 9pm i hadn’t received it. Called and apparently they had car trouble. but didnt call their customers. Said they’ll be another 15 minutes. Called back at 930. they said they cancelled my order by mistake… but that they’ll make it and be at my home on 30 mins. 10pm i called back… they said the order has been cancelled a 2nd time. Ifelt like some sick joke. Negative 5 stars for this horrible place.

Found this place with the help of Unilocal,so decided to give it a try. According to some of the reviews, the ramen is pretty favored here, so I gave that a try! Of course, this is a Japanese restaurant with sushi and such, as with that, this place serves only two types of ramen, miso and then there is one with meat(pork). I ordered the one with the meat, and was very satisfied with it. Not only was it very presentable, but I felt like the broth was great and flavorful as well. The texture of the noodles was just right as well. On the side, we ordered Spicy Salmon, which was again very appetizing. The size of the rolls appear bigger than most Japanese places. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Newly opened Kenta Sushi on Bell Blvd is BAD. I sat down for lunch and had the rolls and sushi. Let me start off with the sushi. They were frozen, fishy and old. Sushi is NOT fresh. The spicy tuna rolls were smushed and skillfully poor. The other variety of rolls were strange as well. A for effort, F for execution. Along with the really awkward tables I would not come back to this place. The best thing in this place is the service which stops at average. I was really hoping this place would be good considering the awful selection of sushi on Bell Blvd. However this is honestly the worst. Oh and shame on the owners for putting up obvious reviews of their own place on Unilocal

Came in late for food and the lack of service left us leaving before we even ordered. The rolls seemed very gimmicky(Mets roll, Beyoncé Roll, ext.). The interior of the restaurant was nice but there was an awkward bench behind every table. It was like the tables were suppose to be larger but as a result they put chairs right before the bench. It all made for some awkward seating. I can’t speak on the food. Prices were a bit high, a Philadelphia roll was considered a «special» roll. I’m not sure if I’ll be back because the service was totally lacking.

The place is pretty, but the sushi bar was sticky with spilled sauce. I had 2 rolls &2 pieces of sushi. All were absolutely tasteless. How is raw fish tasteless? I might go back & try their ramen since the owners are Korean and maybe their Korean food will be better.
