do not come at night. 7−10p do not come. it will save you a headache. I came twice around this time because that’s when i was not working/at school/etc. no chai, no bubbles, no green tea latte, basically no bread on display and basically 50% of the menu is gone. I really dislike how they limit their selection drastically just because it’s getting late. they should really change this to accommodate the night customers. customer service is never great, always okay. they should learn to greet customers and smile once in a while.

Best mochi in the area. They have a wide variety of treats. Their atmosphere is mostly clean. The bathrooms sometimes are stinky, but I guess that’s because everyone is drinking up something delicious. They also have really good«pat bin su» ??? spelling?(I always forget). It’s a little bit pricey, but it’s worth every penny. Try the bubble tea too! They closed down the one in the city. :((and/or changed the name) I hope this one and potential other locations of this name don’t go out of business! Happy eats!

I came here after my favorite shaved ice place closed down in flushing. I have it a shot with my gf. First we got green tea. I don’t think they used condensed milk here and it tasted(I know weird to say but like ice cubes). It’s supposed to melt in your mouth without having to CHOMP. The owner? Was very nice but the young Girls working there got 3 orders wrong in the 5 minutes we got there and worst part is they were sticking their hands in people’s food and taking them back to fix the order(not letting them keep the error and making a new one) and then giving it back to another table. Quite disgusting. The place is nice to relax and enjoy yourself but unfortunately 2* for their ice. Follow up. I came back here and tried a different flavor. Was still very bad. If you wan shaved ice go to Paris baguette just a few blocks down. It’s definitely worth the walk over there.

Came here on Sunday around noon, before heading into the city for the Greek Independence Day Parade. I’ve lived in Bayside for so many years. and this was my first time at Koryodang! loll I remember quite vividly. one year. I’m not sure which, I think it was like 2 – 4 years ago, some idiot drove a Honda S2000, jumped the curb and right through the glass window of Koryodang.(Sorry, just a random thought. Wayyy off topic). Anyways, when I came, there was surprisingly small selection of pastries and breads. They had a few sweet rolls, a few boxes of butter cookies and 3 green tea rolls and that was it. It’s very clean inside. I bought a box of cherry butter cookies for $ 6. It was in a cute little red box. The cookies were buttery, but not overpowering and not too sweet too. Delicious! I also had a bun w/light, subtle cream inside. I thought it tasted pretty good. Though I would come back to try their shaved ice in the summer though. The pics look very tasty!

I enjoy their coffee and it’s a good place to sit down for casual drinks and pastry. Some of their bread are great especially the almond bread. I go there for their almond bread because it is very moist and sweet level is not overly powering. Their coffees are yummy too.

I love the fruit shaved ice, but the girls who work in this bakery are so lazy to do the work to make it. So they just lie and say they don’t have it. What a disappointment.

Arrived around 7:30 on a Saturday night and there was plenty of seating for our group eight. There’s decent seating and fairly roomy. It was disappointing to see that they packed away 80% of the breads and cakes by then. The selection was SO limited but we were able to buy a delicious chocolate cake, the only one that was available. Even most of their buns were packed away. Disappointing since I always like to buy buns at night so I can eat them for breakfast the next day. The Jasmin Mandara was good. Loved that the tea came piping hot. The red bean shaved ice was just okay. 90% ice. Needed more toppings! You can’t go wrong with getting a cake here or tea.

Sunday afternoon at 4:50pm, takes well over ten minutes to make two bubble teas. Service isnt that great but I guess the baked goods make up for it.

Nice place looks clean and looks to have a good selection but it does seem a bit high priced for what you get. I think the coffee Is OK as I consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob.

I’ve been to Koryodang once before(it might’ve been a different location because i remember it being much bigger and having a lot more pastries and bakery items). I’ve only had the bubble tea here but perhaps next time I will also get one of those baked goods I keep salivating on. The iced mocha bubble tea is delicious. I want to try a hot version but I’m afraid I won’t like it as much. I tried my sisters iced chai bubble tea but didn’t really care for it. Either way, drinking bubble tea is really fun with the tapioca pearls. I only had my card on me when we went, and the minimum is $ 10 to use a card. The two bubble teas came out to like $ 9.80, just right below the minimum, the cashier let it slide. I was very appreciative of that. It was also a very clean and well lit store. The staff were very friendly and inviting as well.

Not much selections. Overpriced and there’s fruits flies flying around and landing on the baked goods. No thanks

Ellegant, spacious, and good environment for coffee and some drinks. However, not much of food variety compared to Paris Baguette and other bakery stores. The drinks can be expensive compared to other places. Some of the drink choices are not properly prepared for example I ordered cold milk tea and they provided me cold ice coffee that tasted very sour for price of $ 5 which I could have gotten it somewhere else with better taste at cheaper price(Starbucks) They provide free Wi-Fi with no free outlet for you to do your work and to charge your devices… Stingy as other Korean bakery places… When will they learn?!

Chai bubble tea. Every Monday on my way to work. I look forward to the fat straw and the tapioca. The pastries are good too. Big variety so I try something different every week :)

The other reviews are irrelevant because koryodang reopened, everything renovated and such. My favorite bbang is Italian croquette, it’s so good. The workers are all very friendly and I like how it’s never crowded. Great place to study and sip on coffee(very spacious). There are usually a good amount of baked goods but when you come later at night or such, sometimes there is a small variety to choose from because they all get sold out. It’s reasonably priced for a ‘Korean’ bakery(can’t compare to Chinese bakeries w their low prices tho)

Overpriced. Big time. I spent $ 8 for what would have cost $ 4 in Flushing. I get what look they were going for — a high end Chinese café, but it just doesn’t work out. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, but it definitely isn’t with the high prices. It’s way too expensive for basic Chinese café food.

I went to this place for the first time yesterday with a few friends and LOVED it! When you see the actual location of Koryodang, which is inside a small, crowded shopping center, you don’t think much of it. But when you walk it, it is very trendy, clean and organized. All of the desserts are freshly displayed with the ingredients listed. My friends and I ordered Bubble Tea with lots of extra bubbles! I ordered a peach tea that seemed to be too sweet for me, but deliciously satisfying. I think next time, I might order green tea since I heard it isn’t as sweet… The staff is friendly, service is fast and the menu has a variety of options suitable for a café… but I think they should have more dessert options, including adding gluten-free desserts!

Too many people, severely over crowded. Pretty but too sweet and odd tasting cakes. Breads are«hard» to chew considering the fact that korean breads are supposed to be soft. Selling Popsicles for 4 times the price as the supermarkets. I don’t get it…

It looks big on the outside so you would think that they have a large selection and variety. WRONG! Spacious place but very limited selection of baked goods. Plenty of seats but just not good enough in terms of choices. Also I feel like their baked goods are overpriced. Besides having a small selection, each bun or bread is small too. They do have shaved ice here that I have yet to try but probably better to eat it there so you don’t get mush when you get home.
