The pumpkin curry was very good. The salmon dish was ok, but not my favorite. Tables were comfortable and lined along a wide hallway-like corridor. Mango sticky rice was pretty good. Friendly service

Disclaimer: I just joined Unilocal and I’m catching up on my reviews! This was summer of 2015. Came in here during one summer day when another restaurant we wanted to try was closed. The sign out front made me laugh too(«My English, not so good. My food, great!» I think it was). The food we ordered was good, the staff didn’t really say anything to us though. She didn’t seem unfriendly necessarily, but yeah, not a word. The portions aren’t huge, and they only give you a small thing of rice with your entrée. The place is small, especially towards the back. I would imagine it would be a nightmare on a busy night for the waiters to go back and forth in the area of the restaurant where it almost becomes a hallway. Dining in that area was not a problem for me personally, I liked the setting. I also had tom yum which wasn’t too impressive. I also think if you want more than a small cup of rice, you have to pay extra for it.

This is a perfectly serviceable Thai place, but nothing to write home about. I’m not sure what everyone is raving about. On the plus side, the décor is cozy and charming, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the small details that create ambience. Someone clearly is quite a scrap booker. This is negated, however, by the service. Slow, slow, slow. I started to feel guilty for flagging the server down, but it was the only way to get her to come by our table. It took a good 15 minutes for our order to be taken during lunch. As for the food, when it finally came out, yes, the portions are on the small side, as some have said, but perfect for lunch. Our appetizer and one entrée arrived at the same time, with the second entrée lagging by five minutes or more. My problem was with the way it tasted. I have no doubt that the spicy dish I ordered — one of their signature dishes — was fresh, but it was swimming in oil. I get that Thai food is cooked in oil, but I don’t need to see a huge slick of it on my plate. Also, my dish had the word«spicy» in the name. Since they didn’t ask me how hot I wanted it, I felt it safe to assume it would be spicy. It was actually flavorless, which required me to flag down the server again to ask for chili on the side. My friend, who always orders pad se ew because it’s his favorite and he’ll be sad he missed it earlier if he orders something else, said this time he could have gotten away with trying something new, since their’s was unmemorable.

Definitely some of the best Thai in town. Been here a few times and food is consistently top notch and hugely flavorful, quick to be served, very attentive staff(filled our water and hot tea – which is some of the best hot tea I’ve had – literally 7 times during our meal). Love the pumpkin curry and spicy basil dishes. Even the standard pad thai is outstanding. Will continue to support such a great neighborhood Thai restaurant, which looks to be multi-generational run. 5stars!

What a disappointment. Went here today during the ice storm we had. Nice beautiful restaurant but food is VERYLACKING. I ve eaten at multiple Thai rextaurant and this is LEAST of my favorite. Definitely a one timer. Cat fish I order was over price for what was brought out. A one slice fillet cut into several pieces. I dont know if it was actual catfish or not. It was fried fillet. What a disappoinment.

Food is really good, flavorful. Service was quick and nice. Portion sizes are really small for the price they charge. Worth a try.

Would def go back! The Pineapple Red Curry with chicken and the Angry Catfish with Creamy Green Curry were delicious! As was the Mango Sticky Rice. All were cooked well and nicely portioned. The girl on the«My English-not very good. My food– ISGREAT» poster was our waitress, she was super sweet and attentive. I needed more brown rice for my leftovers to take home and that was no problem. Very cute and comfy place too :)

Not good. :(we live close so we thought to give it another try. They forgot to put chicken in my fiancée’s pad sii ew even after they confirmed two times and made the green curry WAY to spicy when asked to put NO spice. We had to run out to get other ingredients to actually make our meal edible. That’s a no no. Not to mention we made rice before knowing they don’t give you enough for the portion of curry you are getting?

I had a very pleasant lunch here today. It is a bit hidden, but well worth the effort. I had a Masaman and my friend had a Panang curry. They were beautifully presented. There was enough food. I felt satisfied. The flavor so were spot on. Very good curry. I asked for medium heat and got it. The food was warm when presented. All in all, a great lunch. By the way, it was also fairly priced. Great deal.

I love this place usually … The food is awesome but oh my word! Tried calling for take out for an hour and line was busy. Drive down there and the lady who took my order spoke NOENGLISH and had no idea what to do… Waited a while and finally got my food– there was only one other person in there– they were not busy. It looked like the staff — including the person helping me– were all eating. Not sure I’ll be back.

Three of us went for dinner tonight. Two of us had medium spice yellow curry, and one had medium green curry. The food was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that the potatoes and carrots in the curry were huge chunks, too big to put in your mouth all at one time. And they were difficult(slightly hard) to break with a fork or spoon without risking a flying vegetable. There was also not enough white rice portion to soak up all that amazing curry. I felt like I left most of the best part on the plate. I highly recommend this place. Price are good and food is very tasty. Staff is very kind.

So I’m trying out restaurants in oregon. Found this place on Unilocal, had decent reviews. I had a few normal dishes. Yellow curry, pad see ew, and sour soup. Since I live in Los Angeles and there is a very big asian community and food is very authentic. I come to realize that asian food in oregon is overly sweetened. Food was decent but the portions were so small for the price.

Excellent food and experience. The service is friendly and kind. The Thai pumpkin curry is excellent as is the fried rice. The pad Thai was a little sweet for me but it had lots of vegetables which was fantastic :) More people should be here! It is too empty for a Friday evening.

Their fried rice, egg rolls & pad see ew are great! We wanted a small delicious meal and that’s exactly what we received. I was very impressed by the décor and food but wondered why there was no one but US in the restaurant! The server was sweet but towards the end she took a little long getting our bill… especially since we were the only ones in the place. But love the food and clean and crispy(but stylish) décor!

Red Curry — I had the Penang Salmon tonight, at the chef’s recommendation, it was fabulous. Excellent presentation, salmon delicately grilled and lightly crusted, in a red curry coconut sauce Wow, I’ve been all around the world, Bangkok, Penang, Surat Thani, London, Sydney and this is right up there with the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Zagat 28, at least, on this dish.

Beautiful ambience for a place located in a strip mall. Pleasant music. The service was quaint. My food came out quickly. I got the pad kee mao(drunken noodles) with tofu. Although extremely flavorful, it was a bit too salty for my taste. A distinct feature of this specific dish here is the big chunks of tomatoes. The basil was especially fragrant. The portion size was a bit small for $ 9.95 relative to other places I’ve been to. It kept me from over stuffing myself so I suppose that’s a good thing. I may consider coming back here, but not anytime soon unless it was due to sheer convenience.
