Not at all disappointed with the staff. Very friendly and doing the best they could, on their own. Only two wait staff on the floor dealing with about 8 or 9 tables plus a busy bar. What was not good about this place was that there is a loud humming adjacent to the kitchen that was thrumming throughout the place. Like being near an airport with no sound baffling. Menus were not updated and I was told that several drink items were not available. Food took a pretty long time, but I’ll blame that on lack of wait staff. The door was open past the bar. I’m not sure if that was why the occasional smell of cigarette smoke would make its way to our table. As for the food, it was mediocre. The wrap my wife ordered came without salad dressing, making it rather blah. Might try it again, in a pinch. Which was the case this time. Likely not.

Went thinking the burgers would be GREAT as advertised as their speciality. The burger was not at all special – overcooked and very salty. Also, the bun was not soft, but the kind of bun that should have been. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger but with all the lettuce and tomato added(surprised me as always a Swiss mushroom burger was always beforejust that) I could not taste any mushrooms at all. Granted I admit I have poor hearing, but the acoustics in the room were non-existent and few people were there. I would hate to be there if most of the tables were filled. Bar stool type chairs uncomfortable. Service was OK. We won’t be back anytime soon.

I don’t think we’ll be back again due to the crazy prices, and mediocre food. We had burgers that were just average, on a bun that we didn’t want to eat, and a draught beer that was $ 7. Yep, $ 7 draught, now this place does not overlook the grand canyon, or Wrigley field, just a hole in the wall overlooking a parking lot and draft beer for $ 7! I asked and we were told«oh it’s just that special beer» Yea, well we walked to Whole Food Market one block away, and the same beer was $ 11.95 a 6-pack. .. at Whole Foods Market. .. the most expensive store in town.

We went on «Black Friday» with a large party of 11. The issue was the service. Only 2 wait staff for entire place. It took well over an hour to get our food — and that was from the time we ordered it. Food was decent once we actually received it, but a bit pricey for simple bar food. Also, my son is a hot dog connoisseur and didn’t like his hot dog. We wanted to like this place, but unfortunately won’t be back due to slow service.

This place is pretty good. I’d give them the full 5 stars, but they’re a bit pricey for what you get. I don’t know if they’re after the elite crowd of Bee Cave/Lakeway or what, but $ 7 for a bottle of Heineken is kinda ridiculous. I could dine at Hasler’s Bros for that type of money. That said, the burgers are the best thing on the menu. They’re served over shredded lettuce and topped high. They’re almost too pretty to eat. So, where value is concerned, I always feel like I’m getting my money’s worth when I order the burger. The fries are good, though I wish they weren’t battered. That’s probably more of a personal opinion sorta thing, but battered fries just don’t do it for me. Service is pretty good. Seems they keep the waitstaff quite busy there. Sometimes you gotta wave down the help because they’re too busy, but the place is fairly casual and I don’t mind asking for stuff when I need it. All in all, I won’t be coming here all the time(at least not until I win the lottery), but I like it and would recommend them to my friends.

Cold beer and the food is decent. I have been a couple times and the owners always check on our table to make sure everything is right.

I’m here at Cindy’s right now writing this review, that’s how much I love this place! I come here almost every night after my shift and come hang with the crew. They’re more like my friends than my bartenders. Great people working here for example: Jen, Kat, Janice, Vic, Ernesto. The list goes on and on. Everyone here is great. They’ll take care of you practically two steps in the door. Great selection of drinks and the food is awesome! Get the plain Jane. It’s a hotdog but it’s one of the best hotdogs you’ll have in Austin. Of course you gotta try the wings! Signature sauces that will make your mouth water! Come on in and have a great time with us!

A good hole-in-the-wall bar and grill spot. Good food, especially wings and burgers, and a descent selection of bottled beers and beers on tap. Service is quick and friendly, but can get short-handed and overworked, especially on Saturdays. I recommend if you’re looking for a low-key place to watch the game in the Hill Country Galleria.

I really like this place and it’s very kid friendly. The Mediterranean wrap is so good and the tacos. My son loves to eat the wings with franks sauce. Oh and they have a ton of tvs with every game imaginable on. Who doesn’t love some good shuffle board competition or pool? My family and I really enjoy this place.

Tonite was one of the worst dinner experiences we have had in a very long time. Only 2 wait staff working so service was extremely slow. Food was marginally decent after waiting a hour for it to come out. Tables were not bussed around us the entire time we were there. McDonald’s would have been a better choice!

Poor service, ok food, last call at midnight without a warning that drinks will be taken up without regard. Great location but won’t be going back.

WHATINTHENAMEOFCHRIST is this place THINKING ??? Three of us go there on a weekend afternoon. Two adults and a ten year old. The menu is bar slop. Thats what we were expecting. A pile of do-it-yourself Nachos appetizer, a chili dog for the kid, a lettuce wrap for me and my wife had the quesadilla … Out the door with 20% tip $ 67.00. Jesus man, the nachos were ok. In fact just like i’d make in the microwave with a pile of tostitos, a scoop of refried beans out of a can, so left over taco meat and some shredded cheddar in a bag… Exactly like that… The chili off the hotdog was straight up Hormel Chili in a can. The quesadillas were just that, tortilla with a heap of cheddar in the microwave for 45 seconds. Bar food at its pinnacle. But 67 $ WTF??? I made these meals in my college years specifically because they cost exactly 1 $ per meal IFTHAT. This place is obviously targeted at the Bee Cave/Lake Wayite who wants to roll around the galleria in his Ferrari that he cant shift, to relive his dorm days back at A&M with the frat bros. eating dorm food and is willing to pay through his urethra to do it. Next time you go to the galleria and see some dickhead has parked a Hummer in the Electric Vehicle charging space I bet you’ll find him in Cindy’s drinking a Bud Lite and eating a 67 $ lunch.

Not again, no thank you! I really wanted to like this place. It’s small, nice looking and could be fun. My husband and I went for lunch during a weekend. Not a big crowd. We were waited on right away by the bar tender. I ordered the Mediterranean wrap and asked if it came with a side. The guy told me no, so I ordered a side of fries. It actually DID come with a side salad. Wish I would’ve known or I wouldn’t have wasted money on fries. The wrap it self wasn’t bad. Not something I feel the need to have to go back and eat. The salad came with no dressing. Which is odd, salads usually come with some kind of dressing, either already on it or on the side. I asked for a side of ranch so I could enjoy my salad and when they bill came it was $ 1 extra. Are you freakin’ kidding me!!! It came in one of those small plastic cups like Jell-O shots are in. First off, salad should always come with dressing without being charged for it. Second, $ 1 for side of dressing. Not worth it. I’ve paid extra for dressing before, but it’s always been 25 to 30 cents and that’s bc I wanted more dressing then what I was given or side of dressing for my fries or pizza. RIPOFF! When the guy delivered our plates, he didn’t give me any silverware. I had to ask. Umm. I got a salad on my plate dude, I need a fork to eat it with. I noticed all the ppl eating had to ask for silverware. It just isn’t given! On to my husband’s food. He got the chicken tenders. You would think this would be easy and hard to screw up. Nope!!! There was barely any chicken to the tenders. It was all fried stuff. There was probably a half inch of chicken to an inch of fried batter. The gravy was lumpy. The kind of gravy that when you stir it, it’s clumped together and is rubbery. Yuck! I ordered water to drink and it had a metallic taste to it. Yuck. I’m pregnant and didn’t want to drink that water. Not sure what is wrong with their pipes. Beware! The only positive experience was the fries. Those were good and we ate those over the rest of our food. It’s a shame. I really wanted to like this place. We will not be back and not recommend it to our friends.

My husband is what you might call a hamburger connoisseur. He has eaten all the burgers there are to he eaten in Bee Cave and Lakeway, always in search of the that meets all his criteria: –the bun must be soft but not so sift that it falls apart die to the juiciness of the meat; — the lettuce must be crisp leaves of iceberg(not shredded iceberg, not Romain, and certainly not those weedy mixed leaves); –the tomato should be beautiful ripe slices(not chopped chunks that fall out of the sandwich as you’re eating it. –the meat, of course, must be of high quality, seared on the outside, juicy but not greasy on the inside. Most places succeed on some counts but very few succeed on all counts. Cindy’s succeeded on the most important ones(excellent meat, cooked nicely, not greasy). Where did they fall down? The tomatoes! So simple to fix. Who puts chopped tomatoes on a burger?(Same problem with my BLT, by the way which was otherwise perfect.) We will be back at Cindy’s but next time hoping to see sliced tomatoes on the sandwiches. Definitely a better burger than Allstar which we’ve tried 3 times and it’s always super greasy.

Brand new, so we hope they work out the kinks. First of all, the ambiance is horrible. Very generic, bright, and terrible table lay out. Okay, that’s my pet peeve, on to the food. Since they share a kitchen with the steak house I really thought the ribeye steak sandwich was the way to go. Wrong. It was more of a round steak, very tough. It was thrown on a hamburger bun with mayo and lettuce. The bun was no match for that steak and really a hearty hoagie roll would work better for this dish. They don’t give you silverware, so the only way to attack this bad boy was with your bare teeth. It wasn’t pretty. I gave up half way through the carnivorous experience. My partner had the BBQ on bun. It was okay, but a little salty and a fork would have been nice. They have a few interesting beers on tap and I’ll give them another shot in a month or so. I hope they improve. Maybe they should add a karaōke stage?
