Woody’s is a great place to hang out. Love the jukebox, and Eliot’s Margaritas! Must try the pulled pork nachos.

Awesome bartenders. I went to watch the NBA trifecta of Kobe retiring, GSW breaking the all time win record and the Spurs winning yet another game. Sat at the bar and the bartenders were on point. Had dinner and a couple of drinks. I wasn’t expecting a Trulucks level meal and I am not sure why anyone would. My meal definitely lived up to my expectations. Great service, awesome bartenders, good food, friendly crowd. Great little neighborhood bar(and grill).

We love Woody’s! Absolutely best place to go in Lakeway if you are looking for a good time. They stay open till 2 a.m. and the staff is on point! They know how to mix great drinks. We also recommend the BBQ nachos if you are hungry! The brisket is smoked to perfection!

This place is pretty amazing, we recently had a chili cook off here and the owner went above and beyond to make our event a huge success. He checked on us every so often and made sure we were having a good time and had everything we needed! The beer selection was awesome and we also tried fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and cheese fries! Their food is awesome and perfect pairing with an ice cold beer! The outdoor patio is great with couches, a fire pit and outdoor stage. They have a schedule of bands coming all through the month. The band there on Saturday was awesome! Whether your thinking of having an event here or just coming to watch a game and have a drink, this is the place! We will be back soon!

I used to live in Spicewood whenever I first came back to Texas, but I currently live now in Austin – but still work in the area. Whenever I first moved out, I didnt know anyone and didn’t have a bar to call my «home». I come by this place one day during«Woodstock» and have a lot of fun. So I decide to try it after work one night. Being a mid-20s aged individual, I’m social and didn’t like not knowing anyone. The bartender, Amber, was the first to talk to me and first to and make me feel welcome and introduce me to people. She remembers me everytime. She’s the ALL-STAR employee.

Kevin took us here for lunch today. It’s his and Bonnie’s regular bar close to home. Randy and I both had the bacon cheeseburger, Kevin had the chicken strip sandwich. Yum!

They had live music today(on a Thursday) and it was pretty nice! They have a cute patio and«café lights» hanging all across the exterior for a great ambience. The server was so nice but a lot of our stuff came out slow and/or never came out. They have plenty of seating and even a couple of teeny tiny pool tables in the back. There aren’t many places to sit and grab a beer so it was pretty nice to see that they offered a bunch of draft beers! I would come back if I were visiting my friends in Lakeway!

Do you like being roofied? You should definitely check out Woody’s. Do you enjoy being conscious and fully in control of your mental and physical faculties? Don’t go to Woody’s.

Woody’s has good food, good service. Had lunch there today, Rachel was my server, she was quick and efficient and I have no gripes. I will return.

We had brunch and watched the Aggies BTHO South Carolina. Chicken and waffle eggs Benedict was great! Going back to try the veggie burger next time. Also they have Hops & Grain beer, so by that alone I can say they have a good beer selection.

Damn Woody’s. I liked you when you went by your adult name Little Woodrow’s(complete with adult photos in the men’s room). Woody’s is exactly what I expected when I went into Little Woodrow’s for the first time a couple of years ago. Little Woodrow’s surprised me and they became a semi regular place to watch UT games when meeting a buddy from Marble Falls to watch UT games. Now that I have that off my chest let me get to the reason Woody’s will not be getting my business any longer. Walked in about an hour before UT game and it was pretty busy already with people watching the aggie game. No problem. We find a Table in front of a TV that was showing the A&M game. Ordered my first beer and got settled in. As the UT game gets closer and the Aggie game gets a bit out of hand crowd began to thin a bit so I decided to walk up to the bar and just double check what TVs are going to show the UT game was going to be on since it kicked off in 15 minutes. The bartender who is holding the large remote control looks up and says Yes we will have it on. I explain that I understand that but I would like to make sure I can see it from my table. He again says it will be on. Ok. Strike 1. Finally the game kicks off and we cannot see it from our table but their is a table behind the bar that has it on so notify our waitress and move as this is the entire reason we are here. After this it becomes next to impossible to get a beer. Multiple times we had to flag someone down to place an order. Strike 2. Then when it is all said and done they overcharged us for beers that were already over priced. Strike 3. Seriously if you are going to be a crappy shopping center sports bar at least put the pictures of boobs back up in the bathroom.

Terrible service, live music sucks, food is gross and the owner is a drunk who spends his days drinking and harassing customers.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Seriously, what the hell happened to this place after it shortened it’s name from Lil’ Woodrows to Woody’s. I rolled up there with two of my friends yesterday to watch the UT game, and was put off by the not-so knowledgeable staff from the jump. Beers are overpriced, bartender cannot tell you which TVs will be showing you which game and I’m pretty sure I was charged an extra beer on my tab. I did not dispute because I was in a hurry to get the hell out of this place. The way I see it, I paid for an extra beer to never have to deal with this place ever again. Woody’s, STEPYOURGAMEUP!

Woody’s was taken over by King Street and they still keep the sign as Woody’s. The beer and music here is great. We should have noticed that no one was eating food in the bier garden. The food is just awful. We spent $ 50 on slop. The presentation of the food looked like a 10 year old made it and the taste was even worse. How can you mess up a burger? The mashed potatoes were so bad and peppery that I actually had to spit them out. They ruined the wonderful hawaiian bread for the turkey sliders by squishing it down and frying it. Is throwing a piece of lunchmeat, mayo and cheese on a fried, piece of bread a slider? Ugh. All three of us left our food on the table and went home hungry. What a waste of time and money. How about a kitchen that serves fresh food? Just a concept for the owners to consider… Or, why not let people get take out from Mandola’s to bring over if you are not going to equip your kitchen with edible food? It is rare when I ever leave a restaurant and leave food on the table, but this one took the prize. Fire the cook and get real management to staff a real pub kitchen. Woody’s was much better food than this ownership. This is actually the worst review I ever had to write and it is sad that I have to do it because I always support local establishments. If you want a good burger, go to Angel’s, Fore or Poodies.

Stopped in for a lunch. My co worker said they had a good cobb salad. My co worker wanted to eat outside on the patio. I wasn’t too keen on that but went ahead with it. That was probably the issue as our server was a bit out of sight out of mind. Overall for a lunch the service was way too slow. The cobb salad was good. I have had better but for a pub to even have a decent salad is a plus. Eventually, we went in to get our bill. No drink refills or follow up on how the food was. Again we did sit outside when everyone else was inside.

This is my second review… the first one was not positive, but someone has definitely turned the corner. The menu is totally new and completely awesome. The chicken and waffle appetizer is a full meal. They have lots of interesting micro-brewery beers too. It’s a great place to catch local music and it’s not that crowded, so if you haven’t been in a while it is definitely worth another visit. They were also training when we were there which is key to keeping good staff.

These were the best sweet potato fries I have EVAR had! Omg. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, they just melt in your mouth! And the sauce they serve with them is dee-li-shus! Also, these people serve chicken and waffle sliders!!! ‘Nuff said.

Friendly new people and new people running excellent bar food made fresh to order. Impressed I am! I don’t drink much, but I do enjoy the food in any event. Thank goodness you can get real meat!

Very cool joint! Big changes, positive ones, since going back to Woody’s(in lieu of the Little Woodrow’s it was about ten months ago)! While I still categorize this as a «dive bar,» the only thing that merits that title is the laid back atmosphere, the low-key patrons, the limited bar food menu, and decent drink specials every day of the week. Very large space anchored by a huge u-shaped bar right in the middle with tables and seating areas on each side. Tons of TVs; great for sports viewing. One TV has a full, comfy leather sofa set in front of it and is hooked up to an Xbox. Several other fun activities to keep you busy: pool table inside and several on the über neat outdoor patio; spanking new GoldenT; and a digital jukebox that you can take photos on(interesting concept). The whole back corner is constructed of huge glass«garage doors» that bring the outside in whether they’re open or not(of course, open on a nice day is better). There are several picnic tables and a stage for live music out back, that is the forefront for a great woodsy view — you completely lose sense that you are in a shopping center in Bee Cave. Overall: A great place to hang out any time or day. Super friendly staff, great happy hour(see below), good for sports lovers… oh, and for the«Squatters»(aka the ladies — the men’s room is labeled«Standers» — at first we thought it read«Squirters» which would have been so much more funny — lol!), there are about 10 stalls, all really clean and have working doors. Come to think of, this earns that 5th star! Maybe I’ll see you there! Cheers! HH: Monday thru Friday 3−7pm $ 2.50 wells & ½ off apps plus various other daily specials(see pic); Saturday and Sunday all day HH on select cocktails. Note: Although this is a non-smoking bar indoors, there is a cigarette machine in-house — sell fro 10 bucks a pack.
