Whataburger

Everytime I drive through I am praying that my hamburger is going to be hot. I love Whataburger it’s my favorite franchises. I have been to some good ones and some bad ones. I have to place this one somewhere in the middle. I don’t know what happens between the time they cook the patty and dress the hamburger but something’s wrong. When I get a hot one I’m really excited but that’s usually not the case. End up having to go home and stick it in the microwave and that’s not good.

Worst Whataburger Location ever. Service is awfully slow. 50mins to get our food! Yes FIFTY mins, it was all cold by the time we got the food. Biscuit and gravy … Umm more like biscuit and water, that’s how thick the gravy was.

My first time visiting a whataburger. Did not ear a burger, I got the chicken. It was fried hard and it was actually okay for fast food. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL WITH DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS.

Terrible service. Orders wrong multiple times. While I’m getting my order fixed two other people come up to the counter with incorrect orders. Manager Sara has no ability to fix things. Looks like everyone has issues here. Wish Whataburger corporate cared enough to replace management here and fix the problems.

The worst run Whataburger I have ever been to. I live in Lakeway and it is consistently bad.

Let me begin by stating that I really like Whataburger. They make a solid product, sell at a reasonable price, and they’re open late. All plusses.
Compared to other outlets, this one is pretty meh. I’ve been by twice and a) the service has been pretty darned slow, and b) the bathroom were less than clean.
Come on guys, I know you can do better!
This place gets 2 stars on the ‘CTJ Scale’, as noted below.
5 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Jesus good. Would be OK passing on after finishing a meal here.
4 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary.
3 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus’ Dad.
2 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​the-​Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn’t have my last supper here.
1 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Nobody good. I wouldn’t have my penultimate supper here, either.

This is the second time we have came here. My daughter gets the free junior whataburger for completing her reading list. They seem to be really confused here. I kept trying to explain to them that the coupon was for a free junior whataburger no purchase required, but they did not understand that. We waited close to 20 minutes in line. The lady at the window did not apologize and seemed very agitated. This place is ridiculous.

Service is below par they very rarely get the order correct then I had the drive through lady argue with me about how I wanted my burger done. Need to learn some basic people skills

bad move to end breakfast service at 9am. should have extended to noon. anemic breakfast market in lakeway already. thank you corporate whataburger for completely ignoring the needs of your loyal customers. and good bye. we were very loyal for breakfast menu. now we are ex– customers.

I’ve been going to this place for seven years and never had a bad experience. The food is out quickly most times and Is well prepared. The restaurant is clean and the staff are always friendly and professional. The greatest part is they are open late.

I appreciate the fact it’s one of the only businesses that are open late. Pretty good food.

I have been fortunate enough to eat at Whataburger since they started out in the 50’s and until today I have never been disappointed. Boy what a letdown. Tried to make a simple order and requested a number 1 & 4 with one large fries and somewhere it was lost in the translation, drove to the window and was asked what I wanted. Duh, numbers one and four with one large fries. Got the order only to discover the order was completely wrong, wasn’t worth the time to go back. Shame on me thought it was an easy order.

Ask for Britney, she has great customer service, is helpful and will get your order right! And no I ain’t her mama.

20 minutes for my burger? Wtf is taking this place so long srsly never waited so long on a fast food place o and they brought me a frozen ass burger and some cold fries

Slow service, relatively expensive and very greasy hamburgers. Classic Whataburger. But at least they have onion rings!

This location is always clean and the service is consistently good. I get my food within a reasonable amount of time and my food is hot, which is all I ask for. I don’t have any complaints, I mean this is a fast food chain, not Pastis.

This is one of the cleanest and nicest Whataburgers I have ever been in. It is like all the others, the menu, etc. However, they seems to be better. The make their taquitos really neat. Some of the other locations the taquitos are a mess. The staff is always friendly. Service is fast.

Slowest Whataburger location I’ve been to. Second time in 2 weeks. Both times let me down.
Asked the drive-​thru attendant what was taking so long, he responds «It’s no longer than normal.»
Not impressed. Won’t return.

The burgers and fries are great. Love the monthly limited options. BUT make sure your order is correct before you leave the drive thru window. They have forgotten fries, pies, jalapeños numerous times. Best when eaten at the restaurant itself. This way you don’t go without. Really depends who is on shift when you go.

If you live in Lakeway and need late night food, you have Whataburger. If you don’t like it, prepare to drive. 1 extra star for being open!
