No Star… service(more like a lack of serice) and employee attitudes are very poor. Avoid this place unless you like being ignored… or have a lot of time to kill.

Not really sure what’s happening with the staffing at this business. Multiple issues here. At the bare minimum I feel like the Sonic should be able to take our order. However, this location can’t even do that. We sat there again… nothing. So tonight we drove off again. Can the owner please address this issue please? Bad service is one thing. No service at all is a real issue.

Very terrible service and rude employees. Firstly it took almost 20 mins aftwr I pushed the red button for them to even tske my order then after I placed it another 20 to get my order and it was wrong, when pointing it out the employee, she said oh we won’t charge you because of all your drama your causing. Since then I’ve tried them few other times for a simple drink and I have almost the same experience.

I guess that it’s really hit and miss at this sonic. Sometimes it’s a nice experience but more often than not i pull away regretting stoping there. Its always something from a cold hamburger to forgetting something. The straw that broke my back was when i pulled in last night. I pushed the red button 3 times over 5 minutes without anyone taking my order. I NEVER got to order and ended up backing out and driving away. At least there are more options being built in Lakeway to where hopefully people will have more choices.

Met the new manager here, they have really turned it around. He’s a really experienced guy, and explained the situation when he arrived and how he fixed it. They’ve been on point for weeks now

We’ve had many problems at this location, and most recently we’ve had three occasions where it took over 10 minutes to get two Route 44 Cokes. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so that’s not an excuse. We’ve also had on several occasions the wrong food delivered… on our last visit we ordered Tots with Cheese, and the order taker verified the cheese when we placed our order. When we got the order, there was no cheese, but we were also not charged for it, so we didn’t say anything and just ate them. We’ve also gotten Diet Coke when we’ve ordered regular Coke, and I’m highly sensitive to the artificial sweetener. And I reported this to Sonic today, and I’ll consider updating this review if it’s fixed. There is an employee who works there with a giant pickup truck covered with hateful political bumper stickers and gun stickers. We work from home, and when we go to Sonic, it’s a break in the middle of the day to unplug from all of the orneriness on TV and Facebook, and we just don’t want to see this. When we come around the corner and see his truck, it just makes us angry, and ruins our«happy» afternoon break. He has a right to free speech, but we are starting to avoid Sonic because it doesn’t make us feel good about dealing with people who think it’s okay to offend others. Please back your truck in so we don’t have to look at it.

Two times in a row my order has been wrong. Both times it was exactly the same mistake. The bad thing is that what I ordered both times was considerably more expensive than what I got in the bag, so not only did I not get what I ordered, I got ripped off in the process. guess I should have read the reviews or taken note of the fact that the parking lot is ALWAYS empty. Obviously their management does not read the reviews either. I am done with this Sonic location.

I hate writing a negative review(and typically use Unilocal when complimenting a business).but Guys, please get more staffing! Too many times recently, I press the red button without no response for several minutes and multiple attempts. The other day I FINALLY got my single cherry slush ordered. About 15 mins later, it never showed, so I drove off. Once you have more people to handle the volume, I’ll gladly be back.

Service is horrible at this location. I’m here as I write this. We ordered 4 drinks We got here at 10:45. It’s 11:15… They are now closed and the girl just came over the speaker to say they where out of the ingredients to make two of the drinks… seriously. Nothing complicated about strawberry shakes? Still waiting… leaving…won’t be back

The sonic in Lakeway does a great job of getting you food to you quickly and hit. The customer service has been great the few times I’ve gone there over the last 7 years. I’ve never had a bad meal although I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of sonic.

Now I know why they are rated so low. The person on the order job isn’t too great getting things correct failed me twice so I learned don’t order anything by number, they’ll get it wrong. Carhops are very good but they take the heat for order taker incompetence. I’m done.

It is everything you would expect from Sonic, plus some extra grease. It’s not bad, just slippery. The sonic in Cedar Park has higher quality output.

Total ripoff by the car hop. There for happy hour. Route 44 drink ½ price — $ 1.20. Hand them $ 2, and she takes off! Like she figured I owed her a 80¢ tip on a $ 1.20 drink. Probably would have — but because you earned it, not because you were entitled to it.

I’ve been going to this Sonic since it opened. It’s had its ups and downs — originally the shakes tasted of chemicals(artificial flavor) but a couple of years ago they improved. The burgers were always adequate — in a «fast food» sense — but the last couple of times they’ve been downgraded; first the flavor was off, and the last time I went, they were not only tasteless, but tough. I mean seriously — TOUGHHAMBURGER!!! It’s supposed to be ground beef — what the heck are they grinding up in there to make for a tough burger? I’ve scratched this place off my list — when I’m going to settle for fast food, there are now better choices within a block or two.
