I did carryout here and was disappointed. The food was ok, maybe I should’ve stuck to breakfast. What really sucked was the ice cream for my dessert was left on top of hot food and it melted. Waste

I was seated by the hostess and waiters and waitresses were serving tables around me. I sat for 15 minutes and I got one waiter who was walking by and asked if anyone was assigned to my table. He took my order which is fine, but I was passed by several times by at least 5 waitresses. One waitress has enough time to stoke the fire could not take my order.

Stopped in on my way to meeting up with a buddy in Philly last week. This Cracker Barrel was a fairly regular destination once upon a lifetime, but it’s rare for me to get there anymore. What can I say?! I enjoy good old down home style food, even of a chain variety. Breakfast is my most usual time for visiting, and I really dig my standby of pecan pancakes with eggs and crispy bacon. The hotcakes are so good I just have them with butter, and the bacon is solid as long as they cook it long enough. Rubbery, chewy bacon is pretty much a cardinal offense, after all! Service was prompt, and it was good to see that most of the workers appeared to enjoy working together. Vive la breakfast!

We stopped at this Cracker Barrel on our way down to Virginia. We had dinner. We ordered the fried shrimp dinner and the fried catfish dinner. They both cane with 3 sides. The food was ok, you get what you pay for. The fries were soggy and the mac n cheese a bit thin. Service could’ve been better as well. Probably not going to stop at this one again. The did was not worthy of a picture.

The home made chicken and rice and chicken noodle soup is delicious especially during the cold weather. The home made biscuits are very good. Service is good, very friendly.

I like the store more than the restaurant itself– I’m a Northern Gal perhaps my taste buds just aren’t going to change– I’ve gone over 30 times I reside down the street– it was an every Saturday morning routine and finally my friend n I both said can we not go there today and busted out laughing because we both were feeling the same way — ihop has better food to me — I’d prefer the Waffle House(truck stop) over Cracker Barrel

Wow. Avoid at all costs. Food was lousy. Place seems mismanaged or something. Place seemed chaotic. I don’t know. Linthicum location is far superior. If you have a hankering for country food, go down to Linthicum.

Another great dinner at Cracker Barrel. The food was good country cookin’. The atmosphere was a little noisy, mostly the noisy bussers that were clearing the tables. They need to learn to keep it quieter when clearing the tables. They should also clean off the chair after they put the bus tub on it. Other than that, good service from server, Johanna B., tasty food, good price and no wait on this visit. Nice clean restaurant and rest rooms. Love browsing the store, too.

Went today for lunch with several other people. We all ordered lunches. Service was rather slow. It was over 45 – 50 minutes before we were served today. My plate was the chicken fried chicken. Meal was very over-cooked. Everyone was very dissatisfied with the table service and their food. We arrived 11:20am. We ordered and the food arrived at 12:10. I have eaten in this restaurant several times. This is the first time I had such bad service. I guess I developed a mental block of the waitress name. But they can look up my name with my payment with my discover card. Edwin Ramon Pagan.

I usually love the Cracker Barrel but this was the worst one I have ever, ever been to. The reason for even giving 2 stars is that the waitress was fine. The food was awful. I ordered the apple pancakes. The result was barely warm pancakes that were made with water(pancake aficionados: you know how pancakes made with water have a hard crust… yes, like that… lame). The apples were mostly sauce and they forgot the whipped cream. The biscuits my boyfriend got were misshapen, small, and underdone. His meal looked like it was haphazardly plated. Clearly the management is cutting corners in the kitchen to eek out more profits. Very, very disappointed!

Food OK, service lousy. Ate here while traveling for work. Took a long time after being seated to be greeted by a server(that part is forgivable). Heard the people beside me leaving before getting their dessert because it was taking so long and when they let the waitress no she didn’t really care much. Bread came after food and couldn’t accommodate my choice. No drink refills.

The only thing that will keep me from giving this particular cracker barrel 5 stars, is that we waited 5 – 7 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the host area. And with a baby and an antsy toddler, who see’s everything in the store as fun and candy, it is a bit tough. But regardless, we were seated and had an excellent waitress. I felt bad when we asked her a few times about things we needed, pretty sure I still have a good case of mommy brain fog. But she happily went and got everything we needed and never let our coffee cups dry up. thanks! We enjoyed our breakfast and will be back when we are in the area again.

If you’re a fan of french toast-don’t order theirs. Not even ONE sprinkle of cinnamon. Plus it’s soggy and drenched in butter. Our waitress was nice. Kayla. She suggested the french toast lol. I didn’t order anything else after I sent it back. I stole some of my son’s shrimp which were tasty. One star for me. 3 for my family. They loved their food.

We had breakfast for lunch! Always consistent and always good! We had grandma’s breakfast and country boy breakfast with sausage and bacon. And oh… the grits and also the biscuits and gravy. I was so stuffed!!! Delicious and good country staples. Love this place that calls lunch«dinner» and dinner is called«supper»! Love their haddock fish fry. You must get the turnip greens!

Excellent breakfast, as always. I had the ‘Holiday Sunrise Sampler’ and Evelyn had the ‘Christmas Pancake Special.’ No disappointment here. Best part of today’s Cracker Barrel visit is that it was on the ‘spur of the moment.’ I thought about it while walking our dog Tessie, this morning. When I got home from our walk, momma and I just packed up and headed out. Our waitress was spectacular, too! She kept the coffee coming; my cup was never empty. Give Cracker Barrel a try, you won’t regret it!

Breakfast was great as always but our server Chyanna was the best. Our food came out hot and fresh and exactly as requested and we had demands.

Can you really go wrong with Cracker Barrel for breakfast? NO! Perfect eggs. As always the best bacon anywhere.

Ordered Momma’s French Toast Breakfast® with Scrambled Eggs and Sausage Links — The Pancakes were slightly over-cooked. — The Syrup, though tasty, was served in a really small bottle, not holding enough for the huge pancakes. — The Eggs weren’t very fluffy. They were almost similar to the McDonald’s Scrambled Eggs. — The Hashbrown Casserole was good as always. — The Link Sausage was run-of-the-mill. — On a Saturday morning, around breakfast-time, we were able to walk right in and find seating for 4. — Service was prompt and friendly.

While en route to Atlantic City with the boyfriend, we were looking for lunch options and drove past a sign for Cracker Barrel and stopped by. The chain restaurant of comfort foods, this favorite I-95 stop has a variety of traditional American breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods throughout their menu. I’ve only dined here for breakfast, so I can’t say much about their lunch and dinner. My go-to dish is eggs in a basket,(health tip: you can order anything bread dish on wheat or substitute egg beaters in lieu of regular eggs) a childhood favorite of mine. In addition to their delicious sides like their hashbrown casserole, I’ve never been disappointed with a meal here. There’s typically a wait at whichever one you go to, but you can browse their shop or sit outside on their rocking chairs while waiting for your table.

I came here on a sunny Saturday morning since my friend loved Cracker Barrel in South Carolina and she wanted to try it out in Maryland. I was hesitant since a lot of their foods(hash brown, green beans, etc.) are cooked with meat. This location is very busy since it is off 95 and by a truck stop. The parking lot was packed. Now, I’ve only been to a Cracker Barrel once, when I was 8 or something, so I forgot they have a store front that sells knick knacks and old fashion candy that reminds you an innocent childhood. We walk to the hostess station, was seated immediately, and took our time to order. The waitress did not rush us and our drinks came out pretty fast. I decided to order eggs, biscuits, and grits. For a southern restaurant, I was just not ecstatic about my small meal. The biscuit reminded me of Pillsbury(ones you bake at home), I asked for my eggs to be scrambled(meaning I want them cooked) and they were runny and the grits were just grits. I don’t know what I expected; maybe I wanted the biscuits to be better. I was afraid to send my eggs back because I watch ‘Waiting’ and thought the eggs being runny was a small issue. I gazed over at other tables and thought maybe I should have just ordered the pancakes that looked divine. The server was great, the staff is friendly. Would I drive out 30 minutes to dine there again? Just once more to get pancakes and thoroughly cooked eggs and for the nostalgic candies.

On route back to NYC from Washington D. C, my friends and I decided to have dinner at Cracker Barrel so I could experience the patriotism that happens inside this place. What. A. Place. The stuff they sell is entertaining, the food is decent and the service is lovely. God Bless America.
