Little pricey. Took a bit of time to find the flavor i liked, most of them I didn’t care for. Nicest owner. Pleasant overall experience. Clean place, friendly staff. Would return. **unfortunately, has gone under and no longer open :(

I had a Living Social voucher to use here. We thought we would have a problem reaching the minimum of $ 10 to use it. With two cups, each barely filling the half-way point, we were shocked to see our total was $ 14. Compare it to another self-serve place in Towson that would have charged $ 8 for the same amount. I tried 3 flavors and all were bland and the texture just wasn’t right. The two chocolate flavors I got tasted exactly the same. Unfortunately, I thought this would be a good place for a treat and bought two vouchers. I’ll probably end up throwing that one away. It’s not worth it.

This«frozen treat» as they call it may be low fat but it taste gross and it is extremely expensive. My husband my two kids and myself went and we spent $ 25 for some gross whatever you want to call this stuff!

I was excited for Tasti D-lite coming to bel-air and attended the opening weekend the first week of December to get some of their free samples and use the coupons. I ordered a nutella flavor and it was pretty good. My husband wanted a frozen coffee drink before we left so I left obligated to order to drink also so we would take advantage of the BOGO free deal. All the staff are teenagers(which doesn’t necessarily have to be bad) and they handed my my drink spilling out the side and dripping the whole time. I think since it was their first time making the drinks, they made too much and tried to shove it all in. Thanks for the effort but I ended up spending 5 minutes wiping down the sides myself since they didn’t care. The green tea frozen drink tasted weird to me. I am used to Starbucks flavored green tea frozen items and this one threw me for a loop. I still have the BOGO free coupons and I don’t even feel like returning here. Didn’t make much of an impression on me. Although it is supposed to be low-fat…hmmm.

Today was their grand opening weekend(Dec 9, 10, 11). tasti D-lite is offering buy one get one coupons to celebrate their grand opening. If you go to their website you can download the coupon. tasti D-lite is a play on words, but if I were to give them a letter grade, I think a D is fair. The 8 self-serve flavors are 69 cents/oz., buyer beware the self-serve only has one size dish available… super size me, 16 oz cup. You need self-control otherwise you can forget the 70−100cals/4oz and 16×0.69 plus toppings is gonna cost ya!!! The other 100 plus custom made flavors are sold by size. I got a small Toffee Crunch(chocolate base with Toffee candy) and Sheri got a self-serve concoction of Tart-n-tasti(their only yogurt) and Rice Pudding with carmel sauce, candied walnuts, and heath topping.(see pictures) The ice cream like substance has a low melting temperature and starts to melt really quick. Also the texture of the frozen treat is something similar to what one would get at the frozen treat machine at the«All-you-can-eat» buffet(Golden Coral or a cheap Chinese buffet). If it were not for the buy one get one coupon my less than spectacular desert would have cost over $ 8 for the two of us. I have to tell you the vanilla soft-serve ice cream Cone or Sunday at McDonald’s not only tastes better, but is a lot more affordable and has a better creamier texture too. One look at the inside of tasti D-lite and we were quickly reminded that this business resembles«Yogi Castle», but only in looks. tasti D-lite’s taste and texture are no comparison to «Yogi Castle» or even McDonald’s. For my money, if I’m gonna fork over large numbers of dollars for a frozen treat, then I’m gonna drive to White Marsh and visit Yogi Castle. Or if it is summer time, then the Rita’s right on US40 in Joppa.
