Made an out of the way trip to Mak’s to give it a shot — left disappointed. Nice, clean place inside a strip center — but it was overly underwhelming. Order taker was miserable. Felt like I was bothering her. Chicken ‘noodle’ soup it’s super oily with very little penne macaroni shredded up inside. Roast beef was decent — but cold. I’d expect warmed beef at a place like this. Onion bun was squashed. Fries were shoestring and good. Au jus was super thick and salty. Not for me.

As Our Work Place Very Much Enjoys the Food At Macs, The Young Blonde woman that cant cover up her disgusting cleavage behind the counter ruins It. Cover up! I wanna eat. 3 Times In 2 months Ive gone to pick Up Our food And watched It sit On the Oven. Countless people ordered and left. Again, While I watch my food just sit there. Finally one of the guys that cook had to something to her as she’s clueless. How about look around? I have 30 mins for lunch. Theres a reason I call Ahead, And its not to stare at my food And waste my lunch break. Until shes gone, So are we…

The food is good but service is horrible. Had a few issues with getting orders right. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger sub and they forget the bacon. Called to say the order was wrong and they were just going to send the bacon over. It’s ridiculous that they can’t even get a simple sub right.

Mak’s is consistently good for a great roast beef sandwich or sub experience. Today I tried the chicken kabob salad. Wow! I may have a new go-to item there! The chicken was well marinated and tasty. My past experience with the steak bomb sub was unremarkable but the consistency in other areas makes up for that. My only wish for Mak’s management is that they would make smaller orders of fries and rings available. It sounds crazy but charge me 50 cents less than the medium and give me half as much. Then I am less apt to stuff myself because once you start eating the rings or the fries, it is hard to stop.

Only came here once while visiting a friend. Got a small pepper and onion pizza. It was good and they had it ready super fast. It is not my favorite pizza in the area, but it is a solid choice.

Awful customer service! I called and ordered a chicken kabob dinner with no salad and feta on the side. I received my dinner with salad all over my rice and chicken(I hate salad). Oh and the feta, that was on the salad. I called and had to wait 4 hours for the manager to call me back only to have them offer me $ 2 off my next meal. Unbelievable! I had to file a complaint with the credit card company. Please do yourself a favor and get food from another place. J and D’s in Woonsocket has better food and would never do this to their customers.

This is for the Mak’s in Bellingham. Your food is awesome. The pizza, calzones, and Roast beef are tasty little treasures. Your prices are fair. Your staff is friendly and helpful. So it breaks my heart when I see a small thing ruin great food. We’ve only done take-out 5 times and on 3 occasions, the order was either wrong or missing items. Clean-Up the small mistakes and you have yourself a gold mine. The food only tastes great if we get what we ordered.

My experience was mediocre at best. Based on the many positive reviews I’ve seen, maybe they were just having an ‘off’ night??? The pizza I ordered barely had any sauce on it – all I could taste(and see) was dough and cheese. It also wasn’t cooked evenly. Half of the crust was soft and doughy and the other half was blackened and tough to the point of being crunchy cracker consistency. I couldn’t eat part of it because it was too well done(burnt, actually). I’ll probably end up giving Mak’s another try since it’s close and they generally seem to get good feedback. I’m just hoping the experience will be an improvement from this first visit.

Great place very friendly staff! I love the Greek salad with grilled chicken! They really load up the salad and there is so much chicken I can never finish it all! Finally a. Place that doesn’t cheap out on toppings! Also you can never go wrong with there roast beef!

Great roast BEEF sandwich the Super is huge and we’ll worth the price, the steak bomb is very flavorful and the small is more than enough for a hearty appetite at lunch.

OK. so I’ve lived in the Attleboro area for almost 14 years now. Having moved down here from the North Shore, I have a very particular sense of what a roast beef sandwich should be. That is, thinly sliced beef piled high on an onion roll with a slice of American cheese and tons of James River BBQ sauce. This is so rare in these parts that I’ve gone to the trouble of trying to make my own. Now with the reputation of places like Kelly’s in Revere and all the others in that area, one would think that there’d be some demand in this area, and that, like the NFL, copying a successful business model might be a good idea. But NO! We’re stuck with places like Walt’s, Millers, and even a small joint in North Attleboro with«roast beef’ in their name. But none seem smart enough to even try to produce a proven successful roast beef sandwich. I just don’t get it. Well anyway, rant over. Mak’s has fulfilled my quest. Granted it’s 20 minutes from my home, but well worth the ride. For just over $ 6, I got the same sandwich I’ve grown up with. Big & tasty, and their onion rings are thin, crispy, and light. I honestly don’t care about any of their other menu. They could serve pizza topped with gold coins for free, and I don’t care. They have MY roast beef sandwich and that’s all I need.

Having lived in Bellingham for almost 4 years we’ve tried most of the local pizza places but hadn’t tried Maks yet since we didn’t even know it was there. It’s very hidden and if it wasn’t for me seeing it on Unilocal I probably still wouldn’t have known about it. Anyways, my husband and I were definitely far from disappointed in the food. The pizza is hands down the best I’ve had in a long time and definitely the best in Bellingham. It’s not greasy at all like most pizzas are, the crust was amazing, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. My husband got a sub and said that it was delicious as well. I think this is our new go to pizza shop!

Another pizza place disappointment. This would be a single star were it not for the roast beef, which was really delicious. My wife got a chicken parm sub with cold sauce, cold sub roll and screaming hot chicken. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, but there was a total failure in preparation for this to have been cold. It wasn’t a mistake as other chicken parm subs were served the same way. The pizza almost won me over with its crust, but the sauce was sickly sweet; it reminded me of the sauce on Dominos pizza.(The same sauce on the chicken parm.) The pepperoni was very flavorful, but I just couldn’t get past the sauce. The service was slow and the woman at the register was bereft of any personality. The child seat was filthy and I had to wipe it down, resulting in several black baby wipes. It was not a good start. I wouldn’t come back here unless it was for the roast beef.

Finally, an excellent pizza in our neighborhood. Try the Mak’s special, it’s indescribably yummy! Real crust — not the dry, flakey, NO taste crust I’ve become use to. THANKYOUMAK’s and the GODS of pizza that most certainly exist!

Delicious Read some Unilocal reviews and gave Mak’s a try. Good call. My wife and I ordered the roast beef sandwiches. Freshly cut off the roast and piled high. I have to say pretty damn delicious. Cooked rare on an onion roll. Small place, better for take out. Don’t pass on the roast beef, too good. Thanks

This is a place you could drive right by and not even notice it, being that it’s in a strip plaza. Doesn’t mean it’s bad because it’s not just kinda hidden That’s all. There roast beef is one of the better ones I had it’s lean and done just right and decent serving of meat on a bun. Friend had the steak and cheese and said it was done just right and juicy. Not dried out how some come when it’s shaved steak. Plus they mixed the cheese in it so makes it 100x better. The menu is a typical Greek/pizza joint with all your typical offerings. Staff was polite and helpful. Prices are right on par with other places and Maybe even cheaper in some other areas. They do have specials from time to time. Nothing to fancy for décor typical pizza parlor look just newer and clean and Well kept up.

In a sea of bland Greek style pizza in this area, this thinner crust(closer to italian or NY style) pizza is refreshing. The pizza was really good, quick delivery, will definitely be ordering from here again.

I just ordered a pizza to Franklin, wasn’t sure they’d come out here, even though I’m on the near side of town but they sure did. The delivery guy was ridiculously nice and speedy. I’m a fan of the pizza too! Been pretty disappointed with the Franklin pizza scene since moving here so this was a real find. Large half cheese half pepperoni just $ 11! Recommend!

Finally found some decent Pizza in the area, as close to NY pizza as I have had since moving here. Also, a good selection of specialty pizzas. The roast beef sandwiches are also very good– overflowing with lean, rare beef, whether served au jus or with BBQ sauce. Onion rings– outstanding, wings need a little work. The chicken parm calzone was also delicious, even though it seemed more like a chicago style pizza. Pizza rolls(in an egg roll wrapper) were also pretty good, but a little small. Prefer take out/delivery, though, since they don’t serve beer or wine.

Excellent lean roast beef. I grab a roast beef sub here about once a month and it is always packed full of that beautiful lean roast beef. Bread is fresh and veggies in the sub are good. I have also had the Pastrami a couple of time and foud it good without any grizzle. I have not eaten anything else here, but I have been told by others to give the steak and cheese a try.
