I would only maaybe come back here for the blended boba, which was refreshing(get milk tea flavor!) The food was underwhelming though. Chicken phở broth tasted more like a traditional american broth than phở broth and it was bland with a weird textured chicken. The noodles were ok, but would definitely not order that one. The salad bowl was ok, the chicken in that is better than the phở, but I wish there was more lettuce.

I love this place. Its kind of quirky in that it is in a house. It has cheesy decorations and often plays contemporary christian music whilst a slideshow of wildlife plays on the televisions. The staff are friendly. Often when I go, there is an old couple and a younger woman(maybe their daughter?) The old man threw me off the first time I went there. He’s very nice though and has really grown on me. The service is relatively fast in the evening. I’ve heard it’s slower and busier around lunch time but I only go for dinner. The prices are decent. The bubble tea is very good, the phở is great. I’ve had various rice dishes as well and they were good. I’ve also gotten food to go a few times, and it was very fast and they pack it up really nicely. If you want It to go I recommend calling it in. Overall, this is my favorite place for phở in town.

Really good! Broth was flavorful and the banh mi’s(Vietnamese sandwich) are delicious!

We’ve drivin by this little abode a few times. They feature their bubble tea ‘boba’ on the outside of the establishment. Today, we were the only ones dining. I was craving Phở and this was the closest to us. We were created by an elder gentleman, directed us to seat anywhere we pleased. We were brought water and were offered extra drinks. We all ordered different variations of their Phở including kids Phở. It came out within minutes! Their bubble tea was good too! As far as location, it’s minutes between Lynden and Bellingham right off the Guide. It holds a humble atmosphere with kind staff. We’ll be dining here in the future. We enjoyed the food. Price wise, very affordable.

Worst teriyaki chicken I’ve ever had, I knew it was going to be a train wreck when I walked in and no one else was there, and I could tell the food was gonna be poor before my plate was even sat down on the table, chicken looked dry on appearance and wasn’t even cooked In teriyaki came with a little cup of so you could pour on yourself, salad is same scenario, judging by the sounds coming from the kitchen it was probably all microwaved. Everything inside just looked dirty also, won’t ever go back

Family place that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Asia. If you are looking for a more modern feel, go to Soy House. If you want faster service, order ahead. But for a leisurely, tasty, and inexpensive Phở lunch or dinner, this is the place The beef broth was especially substantial and satisfying. I spoke with the counter person who very proudly mentioned that it took a long time to make with lots of bones in the pot. And THAT’s how you make good soup, Phở or otherwise! Beef Phở choices are better than chicken choices. Sandwiches are also excellent.

Maybe the phở is the best in the land and this place deserves 5-stars. However, I came strictly for a bubble tea and was VERY disappointed. Not only with the bubble tea, where the tapioca pearls were mealy and not the least bit chewy, as if they started as instant pearls and were then stored for several days and not fresh. But more egregiously, the busser wiped down a table while we waited using the leftover broth from someone’s finished bowl of soup. He then proceeded to assemble the plate of fresh additions(ie. sprouts, basil, and lime) for the next customer using bits discarded from the previous customer. This is a hygiene nightmare, and on this fact alone I will not be returning.

Love their sandwiches! After years im trying some other things on the menu, but have been getting sandwiches here for a couple years and they are consistent and tasty.

I’ve been searching for good legit bun bo hue in Bellingham and thought that maybe this place will have it based on the pic in the menu. But I was very disappointing because it was pretty much regular phở with the tiniest amount of chili oil. I also share a chicken banh mi with my friend. It was obvious the banh wasn’t freshly baked there and the taste was pretty good.

Vegetarian phở with tofu was very flavorful and packed with crisp veggies. The vegetarian fried rice was basic but also had great taste and hit the spot. Simple and delicious!

The bun bo hue was pretty much phở. It didn’t taste bad but it was just disappointing. The sandwich is the best in Bellingham but there’s no Vietnamese sandwich places here. The sandwich was cheap though!

Love this place. I’ve had a couple kinds of phở, terriyaki chicken, bahn mi, and vermicelli salad bowls… all quite delicious. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Friendly and quick service. My food is always ready in about 10 minutes, very convenient. My only warning is to be sure you have your full order before leaving, they sometimes forget the extras you might order.

SUPERSLOW. We just ordered bubble tea and it took more 15 minutes. The place is kind of dirty. The food smelled good and when we finally got our tea it was delicious, but one of the orders was wrong.

This was a couple months back but I feel like it should be heard. My girlfriend loves phở so we have tried almost all of the phở places in our area. We found this place as a little shack in the mud but thought it might have nice food. We both ordered phở and had a bubble tea with it. My first bite of the phở revealed probably the longest hair I’ve seen in my dish. This lost most of my appetite but I decided to enjoy the bubble tea at least. But to my surprise no joke I look in the bubble tea and there once again is another long brown hair. I’m sorry but that is too much.

Once again, we’re not talking about standards applicable to the French Kitchen. Instead we have a stop on the road from Bellingham to the Canadian border, a sort of shack w/o AC, and a tentative, plasticky décor. Starters at $ 3. Entrees(phở, banh mi, teri plates, and vermicelli salads, go for $ 7 – 10. We had the latter: noodles, grilled prawns, spring rolls, and greens dressed with nuoc mam. Wonderful. Drinks were«bubble tea», a superb blueberry smoothie with tapioca globules mixed in. Well worth the visit.

Crazy good. I may have to go back and downgrade all my other Phở grades after tasting this. Can’t wait to come back.

You know, sometimes the best part about a restaurant is how much love some people put into it. This place is clearly a labor of love. The décor is fabulously executed dollar store chic– and I don’t mean that in a kitschy or ironic way. Whoever decorated has a unique and playful eye and did amazing things on a tight budget. The phở broth was great, however we all agreed the noodles themselves were a bit bland. Service was great, and over all the place gets a gold star. Don’t let the odd location and somewhat dowdy outside fool you, this place is a hidden gem.

A good ph soup starts with the broth. Broth can take anywhere from 12 hours to 48 hours to make. I think they worked hard because this one is good :) it’s flavorful with a good amount of vegetables and meat. The noodles were slightly under cooked, but that is ok. FYI, if you are not quite sure what part of this soup the ph is, it’s the noodles. There you go! A bit of a lesson with a review of the restaurant! Enjoy!

We came here on a Friday evening in summer. We’re Phở fans and thought it was worth giving it a try. The Phở was good… it was everything else that didn’t help. The waiter, who I assumed was the husband of the cook, was«playing against type». Not fast, mumbling, and not always around for questions. We weren’t greeted when we arrived, either. The building, was, not long ago, an ordinary house. It’s been remodeled but it is still a bit too rough for my taste. The food was pretty tasty, the broth good with rich flavor. It arrived quickly, too. If you’re taking a tour of Phở in Bellingham, stop by, maybe it will piqué your taste buds!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We are glad we did. The service was great and the food was extremely fresh and made with quality ingredients. My husband had the steak phở and I had the vegetable phở and we had fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. To drink with our meals, I had jasmine tea and my husband had a delicious chocolate bubble tea with tapioca. The restaurant is clean, offers pleasant music and free wifi. We will go back again.
