Pros: — Colorful, fun, healthy atmosphere for your kids to play in. — The perfect place to play on a rainy day. — Lots of nearby seating to keep an eye on your kids. — Healthy, organic fare that is delicious. Cons: — Parking can be difficult to find(especially if you come on the ideal rainy day), expensive(costs as much to park as it costs for admission for my 1 year old), and may not be that close to the café(again, not great on a rainy day. — Food is a bit expensive, and the actual costs were all a dollar more than what’s shown on the website menu. — Can be chaotic and crazy when busy. Not all parents supervise your children, so be prepared to supervise any unruly orphans. Overall, TIP is a great idea. The play space is fun and I love the toys and play area. If you choose to eat, and are on a budget, the menu items might be a bit steep. Be mindful of your time if you’re on a 2 hour meter.

amazing for kids! eat/drink while kids play! Serves Wine & Beer too! this is a genius idea for a business. it’s a coffee shop that serves all kinds of drink and food for kids and adults. they have a playground and really huge play area for infants to elementary age kids. great for any day but especially rainy and snowy days! excellent place to meet other parents, meet up with girlfriends that have kids and take multiple kids of all ages. stroller entrance on side of building. parking is free on forest street. don’t forget to get a punch card for the kids playtime. they even can take your order while you are in the play area b/c they use an ipad as the register. genius!

Okay, Time In is absolutely adorable and I think well executed for what it is(a café/gymnasium for kids). I wanted to go here a couple times before reviewing it because new businesses need a while to get the kinks out. Here’s my opinion: I have been here about four times and the service has improved markedly! …and the coffee is okay by bellingham standards: the last time I was there, the man even poured me a beautiful rosetta. I love that they are open until 9 in the café and would LOVE to see a place open even later :) go here!

This place is amazing and perfect for the long rainy winters here! The huge indoor space gives kids enough space to play by themselves or in small groups with plenty of room to run around, play with balls and balloons, toys and a playground. It is probably the size of an indoor basketball court, and the ceilings are high like one, but somehow it doesn’t echo like a school gymnasium. A full service café with wifi, cappuccino, and food is out front, but there are tables in the gym area so parents(or in my case – uncles) can enjoy coffee and chat with other parents or check their email or play poker… whatever parents do while their kids are having a blast at an indoor playground. $ 10 got us a coffee, a glass of juice and admission for the kiddo.(Adults are free, kids are $ 4 apiece.) It was worth much more than that to deliver on my promise to take my niece to the playground on a rainy day.
