Delicious food, and good coffee, although a little on the pricey side and tad slow in service. The Reuben is great, and the gluten free bread they use as an option from Erin’s bakery(I think?) isn’t bad!

Went in to grab an 8oz steamed coconut milk with caramel sauce. Price was $ 4.50!!! The barista told me it’d be a few minutes wait. Ran to the bathroom, ran into a friend, did a little browsing, and when I came to the counter to pick it up, it was still not made. When I finally got it, the milk tasted strange(chemically) and like they’d used caramel syrup instead of sauce. For such a steep price, I expected better.

Today when I was famished and in a world of hurt I wanted to grab something to go quickly. headed home from the Senior Center I made a quick diversion to Trapeze inside Terra Organica. I love the display cases of salads and desserts. I was not excited about the corn beef and lentil soup but what do you expect on Saint Paddy’s Day? The Greek salad was beckoning and the Reuben sounded delicious, but I did what any more than middle aged cranky woman would do. I went for the hot chocolate, a chili mango truffle, and the coconut nut chocolate bar. I collapsed for a few moments in a thankfully comfortable chair at a 4 top. The décor and lighting are relaxing and pleasant. The spacious feel allows for . it is ideal for afternoon tea and a conversation with a friend, reading or working on ones laptop. From my view i noticed two smaller venues on the pereter of the café seating area. it seems there is a Japanese establishment and an Afghani one. Interesting prospects for the future. The hot cocoa was not sweet. that is nice because they have everything to sweeten it to your taste with whatever type of sweetener you would like to use. This was real South American flavored chocolate. It had a depth of richness. it tasted exotic with a hint of smoke and spices. The chili mango chocolate bite surprised my taste buds as well. it wasn’t overly sweet but had a complex balance of very interesting flavors. It had a granular texture which may have been ground chocolate, chili and spices. when I sucked on the chocolate the heat from the chili blossomed and lingered. The ingredients are obviously fresh, Organic, and unprocessed. The desserts were not cooked accepting the tempered chocolate. «Sweets» are not cloyingly sweet. They have an interesting merging of traditionally savory flavors. It is very interesting food. this is not the usual path I take when looking for a sweet drink and dessert. I didn’t realize that something so healthy could feel so decadent.

Went to the trapeze café for a late lunch brought a 18oz London fog and half a sandwich, which came to $ 12. The service from the waitress who was a young female with short brown hair wearing glasses was absolutely disgusting towards me. I waited a long time until being served yet she clearly knew I was waiting, I asked for a regular drink and replied mocking don’t you mean either a 12oz 16oz 18oz, I am not from America so did not know what the sizes were, I asked what was the salads and She stated read the deli, again I do not feel like this is good customer service and I ended up just getting a tuna sandwich which was half the size again I was not made aware of this and think it’s a lot of money for that size. When I picked up my London fog it was not what I called a London fog, no vanilla and the size of the cup was the same as my partners who ordered a 16oz! When my food came again was not at all hat I thought and she did not even acknowledge me when she put the sandwich down. I would never come here again because of her rudeness!

I had been in a few times while shopping at Terra and tried their wild coffee, which was great by the way and so I was hooked and now stop in as often as I can for the coffee. Just the other day I tried a sandwich for the first time, the price was a little steep but figured it was a healthy move so I tried the reuben on rye, oh my… it was very delicious, my girlfriend doesn’t eat meat and bread and tried it and loved it. what an experience that was, I enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend.

I ordered three sandwiches and the salad plate and my bill came to 45 dollars. I certainly didnt expect to pay«fine dining» prices for a walk-up sandwich shop. At 12 bucks a pop, I expected my sandwich to be large and come with a side of some sort but was disappointed to learn it was tiny and only came with a pickle. The food itself wasn’t bad but to charge 12 bucks for an itsy bitsy sandwich, I expect to be wowed.

Heck yeah! This bright open concept market has a community feel with a variety of lunch spots. Pizza, Sushi, and Trapeze, with it’s gluten free options. I chose a panino style sammi made on a flat bread, locally baked by Leah’s Gluten Free Bakery. This bread is not flat at all! It’s puffy like a real pizza crust. It was a heavenly sandwich of Turkey breast and bacon, with dressed greens and thinly sliced organic tomato. I would love share a picture of that sammi with you all but I ate it like it was my last meal on earth. The counter service was friendly and helpful. It took quite a few minutes to make the sandwich but it was one of those times when it was way worth it. Thanks guys! I’ve been to the market on several occasions but your yummy grub guaranteed my return.
