Ordered a Ruben; corn beef hot sandwich with potato salad and slaw.
The sandwich is small (cut into three pieces), the slaw was tiny (think a small ketchup cup) and the potato salad was good (think small ice cream scoop).
The comp bread was good.

Locals eat here, tourists eat across the street for the view and mediocre food. Fact. Rooney’s is one of the best restaurants in Marin hands down.
For lunch get the crabstack or the chicken curry salad, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Loaded with fresh fruit, a marmalade type topping and some coconut. The curry is very mild and perfectly balanced.
The crabstack is perfect.
If you’re from out of town have drinks on the patio at Sam’s for the view but then come here for a meal.
