The kids loved the waffles and hash browns! Ate them all up and left nothing on their plates. Definitely going back! Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff.

Y’all know what it is… Waffle House. Open 24⁄7 the true truck stop breakfast place. Don’t come if you want a amazing environment. This place isn’t that clean… it’s almost like they know and don’t care. It’s pretty small and they fail to keep it clean. This is where I come when I don’t want to get ready. When I’m hung over and need a quick cheap breakfast. I don’t expect much… however the food is always pretty good.

My husband and I eat breakfast here almost daily during the week. You can say what you want to about cleanliness but you can only surmise about other restaurants because the kitchen is in the back and they won’t let you in there. Here, its made right in front of you. We’ll keep coming back because the food is good and they usually make it just the way you want it.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The food is fine if you can get past eating in filth. Which I can’t so won’t go back. The cook area was gross and bathrooms beyond words gross. Plus, the staff was fighting and you could cut the tension with a knife.

Not a bad Waffle House. Just like any other 24 hour breakfast joint with affordable good that is made to order. I always come for some hash browns and bacon. This time that I visited the power was out bit they made the best of it and was still able to get me my order and made very well. It’s in a food area. There is a Starbucks right next to it to if you think you will need to pick up a coffee traveler. Reason for 3 stars because specifically with this one there really wasn’t anything that was special that stuck out to me. The food I have had at other waffle houses has been a smidge better.

I’ll have to preface my review by saying that I grew up on Waffle House food. I rue the demise of the all-you-can-eat meal. But I won’t eat there anymore. It’s not the quality of the food. Look at the price point and tell me that you expect something more than edible, mediocre-to-average food. The food is fine unless you have lofty expectations. The thing that killed Waffle House for me was the cleanliness. One day, I walked in and saw a cockroach on my booth. And then again the next time I dined at this location. And again at a different location. Now, if I’m in Benbrook and I want breakfast food, I’ll go to Cracker Barrel, or to Whataburger if it is late at night.

Been a fan of the Waffle House for years, way back to those pre-credit card days. While I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, I now generally stick with the waffles(I like to order mine«dark», which is their short-order slang for well done). I go back and forth between regular and pecan, and sometimes I’ll get a side of hash-browns. I’ll also always have a cup of coffee, which is not the greatest cup of Joe, but pairs well nicely with the waffle. This is a convenient location, right off Interstate 20 on 377(i.e. on the route to Granbury). It was no better or worse than any other Waffle House. If you been to one, you know what to expect. If you have not been to one, well you really should go. It can be quite entertaining, especially at 2 or 3 o’clock in the morning(can’t vouch for this location’s late night entertainment value, but I suspect it’s the same everywhere). Bottom line: Great waffles.
