I’ve been studying yoga for 20 years now– and my husband and I travel full time for work all over the country. Namaspa gave me exactly what I was looking for– high quality instruction in a warm, friendly, un-pretentious environment! I will be going back a lot while we are in Bend! P. S. For all you purists out there(like me) — no music on during class time– what a relief! Just the sound of your breath– the way it’s meant to be! Thank you thank you thank you!

I’ve been practicing here on and off for two years and the wonderful atmosphere and glowing presence of the staff keep me coming back. I especially love the AcroYoga, Meditation, and Yin options!

Great vibes, friendly and knowledgable staff, great prices and lots of fun! As the new kid, I felt very comfortable, never once felt judged. I would recommend this to anyone, old, young, pregnant, Out of shape, stoned…

After 3 months from having surgery on my ankle and not having the desire to practice, I was in town and decided to check out Namaspa. It was a decision I was so happy I made. The studio was clean, well lit and was everything you would want in a studio. Taylor, the 6:30am instructor was awesome! He gave great instructions and adjustments. I would go back for another class for sure.

We stopped in for a drop in class and we felt at home. The studio is beautiful, the staff is friendly and so are the visitors. The owner, Nancy, is an exceptional yoga teacher and the nicest person. She took time out of her evening to educate us about Bend. If you’re looking to practice at a great yoga studio, Namaspa is the place!

Namaspa is one of my favorite yoga studios! Everything about this sanctuary is well done. The instructors and owners are all so welcoming and cater the classes to all levels of practice. It is Baptiste yoga, and the room is heated to 90 degrees, which is just right to make you sweat, but not swelter in the 100+ degree heat of other types of yoga. i really enjoy seeing the different levels of yogi’s in the class, from beginner to crazy advanced people doing headstands and side crow. Everyone in the classes are also wonderfully welcoming and encouraging. I had taken a long break from my practice, and recently took advantage of their awesome intro deal of $ 29 for one month unlimited. It got me back into the flow of things, and every time I left a class I felt wonderfully calm, centered, and connected. They have an upstairs studio as well that I haven’t had the opportunity to experience. This is where they have a lot of kids yoga classes, so I assume it isn’t heated. Besides all the awesome variety of regular classes, Namaspa often has specialty classes and events that are super cool. I was bummed to miss the recent Saturday night event which was a yoga flow class with a DJ! I love that they can provide amazing, intense yoga instruction, but are also playful and creative in class and with their events.

I love this yoga studio so much! They specialize in Baptiste yoga, which is in a warm room of around 90 degrees. The yoga instructors are all so informative and helpful. If you’re looking for a comfortable, inviting place to expand your yoga practice, Namaspa is the place to do it! I’ve been going consistently for a few months now and I can tell the difference in my body and in the moves that I can now do that I couldn’t when I started. It’s exciting and motivating. And their costs are reasonable compared to other studios. This is definitely the best studio I’ve been to in Bend.

I went here for about a month when I first moved to Bend. The studio is very cute. The warm room is the perfect temperature. They use these delicious smelling oils that fill the air! And my favorite part, during the last few minutes they come around and rub your shoulders for a second for full relaxation. So refreshing!

Wonderful, mellow studio. Tons of classes! The instructors are great. The masseuses are good, but not the best in town. Haven’t tried the acupuncture yet.

Whenever I’m in Bend I make a point to visit Namaspa for at least a few classes. With $ 12 drop ins(and $ 5 community classes!!) there is no reason not to. I’ve gone a few times, and I really enjoyed each class. The teachers are knowledgable, the classes are challenging, and the temperature is warm but not torturous. I have been to a lot of different yoga studios both in New York and Portland, and Namaspa is still one of my favorites. It is exactly what I want in a yoga studio, and if I lived in Bend I would definitely be a regular here. I’ll add that to my list of reasons to someday make the move…

I find myself going back to Namaspa time and time again… it’s welcoming, never over-crowded, and I’m a fan of the warm studio, which gets me dripping sweaty — instructors are all kind, attentive and skilled.

Namaspa has it all! Friendly knowledgeable staff, lots of classes for wherever you are in your fitness journey and extra programs for self-discovery like the 40 Days to Personal Revolution or yoga teacher training. Add an inviting facility and atmosphere of community and you can’t go wrong with them. That’s why I am a regular.

So happy we found this studio! My husband and i traveled to Bend for a week’s vacation. I found this yoga studio online and was able to book 5 classes as well as schedule the ones we wanted easily on its website. We tried the Vinyasa Flow which is held in a heated room. This was a first for us and it was really a great challenge. We never sweated so much in our lives! The staff is very friendly and informative and welcome first time visitors with open arms. We are going to 4 more classes before we leave. Trying the«Lite» classes next which are not held in the heated room. That’s whats nice: all different styles of yoga for all different levels! They even have a kids yoga class!

Yup, I’m one of those weirdos who goes to yoga while on vacation. Even more insanely, I’m one of those weirdos who gets up for the 6:30 am class on my vacation. Had you told me this would be my life when I was ten years younger, I would have blown my cigarette smoke in your face and told you to keep dreaming but please pass the bong. Change can be good. I wasn’t anticipating that the practice room would be heated, but I cut my teeth on hot yoga and could manage through the temperature without a problem. It was a small, quiet class. Fellow yogis ranged from older folks to younger, bendier powerhouses. I’ve taken possibly hundreds of vinyasa classes and fell into the instructor’s rhythm pretty easily, but I’m not sure whether this would be the class for a less experienced yogi. However, the environment feels relaxed and not competitive, so I’m sure a newer student would be welcome. There’s bowing to your fellow classmates at the end of the class, so it’d be awkward if friendly is not your forte. Namaspa’s studio is not a palatial space, although it’s in Bend and shares a parking lot with 10 Barrel Brewing, so I would guess the rent ain’t cheap. So I’m not sure about the shower situation or that sort of thing, but if you are just all about a solid, no frills practice, the studio is great. I’d go again when I’m in town(provided I don’t walk into 10 Barrel first).

By far my favorite yoga studio I have EVER been to. No place can compete. The ambiance is amazing. No mirrors, so you can actually focus on how you feel, rather than how you look. Two different rooms offer warm yoga and room temp yoga. Looove the gentle flow class. Great for getting back into yoga, for relieving stress, anxiety, etc. The instructors are amazing! They are helpful but not overbearing. Yin yoga is great. It is a relaxing, meditation-yoga with 3−5min holds of different familiar yoga positions. I left feeling rejuvenated and centered. Flow for all levels was great. There is no pressure to be the best, or look a certain way. The unified breath is quite moving. The meditation class was quite an interesting experience. Probably not my cup of tea, but I left feeling good for trying something new. Don’t look further than Namaspa… it is THE place to go in Bend.

Namaspa is a great studio with outstanding instructors. Although I am not technically new to yoga, I am not an über-flexible yogi. The classes are always welcoming and each student is encouraged to find their own edge. This studio specializes in Baptiste Power yoga which is performed in a heated room. Awesome workout and a great addition to running, biking, paddling and skiing. Hard enough for serious yoga practitioners and welcoming enough for those new to the practice.

I’m still quite new to yoga, but am pretty sure this is top of the line excellence in body Namasté. I’ve been telling everyone it’s a fantastic combination of exercise, stretching, meditation, and talk therapy in every single class. It’s such a great challenge, physically and mentally, but a supported, guided challenge. Finding the«juicy edge of your own limits» is a mantra of most every class, as is the insistence to do what’s right for you, in that class, in that moment — regardless of what you’ve done before or what anyone else is doing around you. Which is great, because in the beginning I spent much time in the resting position of child’s pose! Recently, I’ve even noticed the positivity and gratitude cultivated in class spilling over into the rest of my life. No joke! …and pretty soon, as I progress with my yoga practice and flexibility, I’m sure the soreness won’t! Big thanks to each instructor there for creating a great community.

This is one of the warmest, most welcoming places in town, if not THE one. A friend introduced me to this studio and style of yoga years ago, and I am forever changed. It is a welcoming place for ANYONE new or unsure of the whole«yoga thing». It is also home to some seriously trained and practiced yogis that will lift you out of your tension, or whatever is holding you back. I always find challenge to grow and give myself the freedom and workout I deserve. «A real kick in the asana» as they say on the Namaspa stickers. The studio offers mostly heated vinyasa flow of the Baptiste foundation, so you’ll sweat and smile. Also offered are a gentle flow, Yin classes, and Power Yoga Basics classes if you feel you’d like to get your feet under you. Prices are standard, and in some cases cheaper than average for a way better than average experience. It’s a real community, and I invite you to give it a shot. Do it for yourself, and the ripple effect might surprise you. The studio offers kids yoga for $ 5/child during three classes per week so the whole family can come, and you don’t need to find childcare. Tweens class is also offered. Oh yeah, and I’ve heard it’s a great place for massage as well. I can’t imagine anything other than greatness having met most, if not all, of the LMTs. There are a number of massage therapists who run their services out of the building, putting the ‘spa’ in Namaspa.

I just wanted to mention that the place has gotten a little bit cleaner since I wrote my last review.(However not clean enough for me to change my star rating…) Also another thing, if you take any of the classes after 3 pm go a little earlier than usual. The parking situation is ridiculous because Namaspa shares a lot with 10 Barrell.
