If you’re not a huge company looking for a bulk discount, don’t waste your time coming here. I went in looking for 5 stainless steel bolts. They had what I wanted but they only sell bags of 25. I’ve gone to other Fastenals that will break the bag for a nominal fee (e.g. $ 1) but «the manager isn’t here and he’s really strict.» Okay fine. I don’t need 20 extra bolts. How about a bathroom? Nope, no bathroom. Okay, one final question. I asked if they had a similar bracket to the one I was holding. The sales guy literally walked every single isle with me in tow. I almost felt sorry for his intelligence but also wondered how got a job there.
Don’t waste your time. Go to Bowlin Equipment Company right down the street. In fact, the only reason I came to Fastenal is because Bowlin was closed for lunch. Never again.

Friendly staff are great at helping to find the perfect part. Rarely, have to wait in line and staff is much more knowledgable than the staff at Grainger in Berkeley.
