Quick clean friendly and somehow hot. Had my to go order ready before I was done paying. Exactly why I went there.

Not the best place to get food but not happy with their professionalism and handling my order thru the drive thru. My order was given to me wrong and when I got my order corrected it was cold. I wasn’t given straws nor BBQ sauce.

Came through this place after driving back from Vegas since it was 5AM and the only place open. Sorry to say all the Mexican and or Hispanic women that work the drive through are rude and that includes the manager. One lady I think her name was Rocio or something like that when I went through took our order then snatched my card out of my hand while speaking Spanish to another coworker! Sorry aren’t you suppose to tell me my total at the window? To make matters worse my order was wrong I wonder why? Never coming back also Spanish is the most commonly language in the US besides English and I totally knew what you were saying about us! Aren’t you the people begging for $ 15 an hour? Sorry you don’t deserve it with this type of service

I usually come to this Mcdonald’s during night time. There always have been a lady cashier sounded unwilling to take my order, and hated her work so much. Well, if you don’t like this job, then work somewhere else. If you don’t have an alternative, then learn the proper work ethics. If In N Out and Chick fill A can do it, then you can do it.

Long waits. Wrong orders. Cold fries. Makes the shitty-ass McDonalds in Emeryville look like Le Bernardin. Unilocal wants me to leave a longer review so… fuck this place.

I never eat McDonald’s but I decided to tag along with my brother when he went through the drive thru. The man at the end of the intercom greeted us and asked to take our order. We told him what we wanted, and then came silence as we waited for a response. The silence lasted for a good few minutes before we heard, «Hi, welcome to McDonald’s – OHSHIT.» And then the mic cut off. After another few minutes, we were asked again, «Hi, welcome to McDonald’s. How may I take your order?» We placed our order and waited. Waited another several minutes before hearing a confirmation and then driving up to the window. Last time I checked, «OHSHIT» was not professional language.

Went to the drive thru to get a quick dinner tonight and I was in the mood for some nuggets. I asked if they had a 20 pc meal and they did! So I got the 20 pc meal w/large fries and large diet coke. It came out to $ 10.48, which was confusing to me because that didnt add up in my head. A 20 pc is $ 5, soda is $ 1 and lrg fries is $ 2.50. Anyways it turns out that the meal is more expensive than ordering the stuff seperately.($ 10.48 vs $ 9.41) I thought the point of having a meal was so that its cheaper… After being confronted with this problem, the dude at the drive thru window said something along the lines of «you order it how you order it and thats what you pay.» I thought it was illegal to sell a meal more expensive than its individual parts. I mean what are you charging extra for??? To top it all off they gave me oil soaked fries that havent been cooked. Check out the picture.

I’ve been to many McDonalds and ordered many coffees. This McDonalds likes to put wooden stir sticks sticking out of the lid. I didn’t notice this and when I grabbed for my breakfast sandwich, the stir stick sticking out of the lid hit my arm and spilled all over my crotch. I’m completely raw and burned in my crotch area. When I told the manager to not out the stir sticks in the lid, she said«we do it for everyone.» I told her it’s a hazard and she shouldn’t do that anymore. She just said«sorry» and that was it. I continued to watch customers get served coffee with stir sticks sucking out. It’s an accident waiting to happen.

It’s McDonalds, so I take the food for what it is: Baseline 3 stars. However, I’ll avoid this particular franchise based on my breakfast drive-through experience today: 1) Didn’t include ketchup even though I asked for it, 2) Did sweeten the coffee, even though I did not ask for that, 3) Really difficult to find entrance(I saw about 4 cars miss it while I was waiting), and 4) The drive-through payment windows is placed in a circle, which makes it super difficult for employees and customers to swap money. Back to architecture school!

I don’t typically review McDonald’s but I have to tell you about this particular location. We stopped in to get some breakfast before heading on a road trip, but we didn’t expect to have the worst McD’s breakfast experience ever. The drive-thru is a huge loop that takes up an unnecessary large amount of space and the line was long. Then we realized the reason for the back-up was because of the customer service. Granted, my husband and I had complicated orders(I prefer the egg whites, excuse me!) but the lady receiving the orders was NOT the best person for the job. Other reviewers have said so I will too — these people can’t speak OR understand English well enough to function at the drive-thru window. It’s one thing to not be able to communicate back, but it’s another thing to not UNDERSTAND what the customer is asking for. The stupid screen popped up with an «ask me» line for the drinks since we ordered some holiday beverages instead of the usual hot coffee. When we get to the pick-up window, our order was all messed up. I got my Egg McMuffin with egg white just fine, but my husband asked for the Bacon-Egg Biscuit and got a McMuffin instead. He even had ordered it as a #3 and not a #1. Then, our drinks were wrong. When we confronted the guy at the window, he checked with the lady who received the order and gave us this response: «She said this is what you ordered.» UMMM… I’m sorry that your order lady can’t hear, but that’s not what we ordered. Since when is the customer wrong? We weren’t asking for the incorrect drink PLUS a new drink. We wanted what we ordered. So after waiting for a mocha to be redone, our food that was wrong got cold. I will never be dining here for breakfast ever again.

I can’t believe this location opens at 5am! It’s a typical McDonald’s. go before 9am for free street parking! Other than that, you’re better off walking. I ordered my usual egg mcmuffin meal and it fulfilled my desires. Lots of seating. My issue is that they don’t really have a napkin or ketchup bar.

So, I’ve been living in the US for 3 months now and I’m not ready to stop saying«It’s better in Canada.» Forgive me. One day, I will stop comparing. Don’t you hate it when you go somewhere and you have to greet the staff versus the other way around? This McDonald’s is nice, but the people working there definitely don’t want to be there. I’m super friendly and polite. yes, please and thank you! But I practically had my change and Chicken McNuggets tossed at me. I don’t expect anyone to love their McDonald’s job… but there are others working for minimum wage, front line in the food industry who are quite pleasant… Jamba Juice or Pinkberry, for example. Anyway, my McNuggets were gross… like they had been made 5 hours ago. As a general statement, any McNuggets I’ve had at any Canadian McDonald’s were better than any I’ve had at any American McDonald’s. There, I said it.

It’s a McDonald’s World! We just live in it! McDonald’s is a global corporate institution! This branch of McDonald’s is part of The Family history. I was recently reminded of that when we ran into two of our neighbours who used to bring their sons when they were little. The Mother and The Neighbours were reminiscing about how this McDonald’s was their family place. It was the only place I would agree eating at any time when I was a child – it beat Chinese food any day for me.(I appreciate Chinese food, especially dim sum/deem sum; I have evolved since then.) There was a bike giveaway contest, a bike for a boy and a girl. The Sibling was one of the bike winners. McDonald’s is part of The Family history. I have seen this McDonald’s branch undergo many renovations. I remember McDonald’s when it was in the style of the 1950’s-60’s white brick/tile with the huge signature Golden Arches separate from the building. There was little outdoor seating, and most families used to eat in their cars. We were one of those families. Then there was the virtually all brick exterior from the 1970s’-80’s and no more huge signature Gold Arches. No more outdoor seating. I think it is now on its third renovation/makeover. It has been about two years since the last makeover. It is okay, the drive-thru leaves a little to be desired. The parking lot and the drive-thru is almost like an obstacle course. The Mother and I have breakfast or lunch, it seems like we have been here once a week lately. We have the chicken nuggets or the filet o’fish meals. Sometimes we are here for breakfast. I have been challenging The Mother about coming here for a free coffee served between 5:00 to 6:00 A.M.(Still working on her for that.) I have not had any problems with the staff that works here, they are pretty nice. They strive for customer service and satisfaction. One time, I was overcharged for dipping sauces and was able to get that charge removed from the bill. It turned out that we were supposed to get the number of dipping sauces at no extra charge. McDonald’s is all over the globe. It was in the 1980s McDonald’s opened up branches in Europe. I remember when it was newly opened in the UK in 1985 – 86. It seemed a little out of place to me that there was McDonald’s in London and its competition was Wimpy’s Hamburgers. I did eat there just to say I ate chicken nuggets, filet ‘o fish, and a hamburger at a London McDonalds.(Most of the time, I ate at the pubs and the Taco Bell.) In 2007, I ate at a McDonald’s in Roma with the pilgrimage group. They served fried shrimp there, so I had shrimp and chips aka patatine fritte e gamberi fritti. McDonald’s is still around, and I believe it will be for generations of families to come and enjoy, and have treasured family memories.
