my favorite drink from here was green milk tea boba, best green milk tea for me, it’s creamy and sweet and wonderful. The fruit teas from here weren’t great tho This quickly’s location is closed now, it’s been replaced by this random boba place called«Boba Ninja» which has mediocre green milk tea and their boba balls are super sweet

I always get the popcorn chicken(though not always from here). I think that this Quickly’s has a little too much breading and the chicken is oilier than I would like(not to say fried chicken shouldn’t be oily but the meat itself is greasy). But it’s nice that they cook it on the spot(at least I think they do because they make me wait for 5 – 10 minutes).

Although the prices are affordable, the quality of the drinks seem mediocre. I had a taro milk tea boba and it seemed more water, ice, and boba than taro milk tea. It’s a tiny hole in the wall and there’s more to be desired from it.

This place is nasty. My friend and I came here and asked the owner what we should order he recommended some wings with some red sauce and it was not appetizing. He charged us $ 1.50 more then what was shown on the menu and when we asked him what the extra charge was for he mumbled something and gave us some money back in change.

I always order green tea with green tea jelly. They are the select few places in Berkeley that has green tea jelly. Mocachinno is the other that has green tea jelly the way I like it. The pricing is good here its about 2 dollars for just iced green tea. I like the service and there usually isn’t a long line as I’m impatient. I like the pop corn chicken here as well!

I’ve gotten their Thai tea but it’s way to milky and the one at toss noodle is much better in quality. However, they have a good chicken deal. I’ve ordered 3 types of fried chicken wings from them: salt and pepper, sticky garlic pepper, and the xo hot wings. I hated the latter two. The sauce was sticky and quite frankly, I felt they were just throwing random flavours onto the chicken to have a variety. The sauce just didn’t taste good at all. The pepper garlic didn’t taste like garlic and the xo hot wings weren’t spicy– they weren’t like any wings I’ve had and in this case, it was a fail. The salt and pepper chicken wings were also a little disappointing since they weren’t like the traditional salt and pepper wings from most Chinese restaurants. The pepper was this red cayenne powder and there was no salt. It was heavily fried with batter unlike the ones from dumpling express. But it’s slightly cheaper so I’ll go here when I want something cheap. Service is fast and efficient yet not too friendly just polite.

They have cartons of soy milk for those with allergies to milk products. Enough said!

A really small store so seating is only available in the Asian Ghetto courtyard. It’s also open and closed at really weird times. While the entire Asian Ghetto is poppin’ at night, Quickly’s will almost always be the only place that’s closed. Anyway, if there’s one thing you should take out of this review, it’s that their popcorn chicken is DELICIOUS. You do feel your body dying a bit with every bite but it’s so worth it.

Pretty average for a boba place. No seating inside as this is in the Asian ghetto but that’s fine if you are getting boba drinks. I’ve been to boba places where they can completely customize your drink. This place offered reduced sugar but that was it. Also did not carry normal(no sugar) coffee. My husband went with plain tea. Service was friendly.

I feel like Quickly’s has gone downhill since I’ve arrived at Berkeley. The drinks are decently priced although it has definitely increased with each passing year. Thai tea with tapioca used to be $ 2.50, but is now $ 4.50! The tapioca is usually pretty good here but a few times, the tapioca has been too chewy or in just one big ball. I don’t come here as often anymore because of the lack of quality and increased price. Although, if you’re in a hurry and are in the area, I would just go to Sweethearts or ShengKee.

I’ve been to too many Quickly’s to count and this by far is one of my favorite ones! Here’s why Popcorn chicken: Took 20 minutes to make. What the hey? I didn’t complain because it was my friend who ordered it originally and I was going next door to get food anyways, so we waited for the cook time and it was super worth it! I’ve had Quickly’s popcorn chicken in the past but their popcorn chicken tasted 10x better than any other ones I’ve tried. Ordered one after stealing a few bites of his. Thai Tea: I bought it and didn’t drink it because it spilled in my purse~boo hoo. However, can’t fault them on this, totally my bad. Other pros: It’s not cash only! They accept cards but charges 50 cents The cashier/worker were really, really nice to me Drink came out lightning fast Cons: SMALL location, barely enough room for four people to be inside ordering. No seating area inside No bathroom

Best service and boba I’ve ever had. There were two gentlemen behind the counter who were very polite and enthusiastic about their job. Although drinks and service vary between who is working every time I visit, I enjoyed this particular order. Friday 9 pm.

Quick and easy. My Jasmine Milk Tea with boba was $ 2.50 flat. Boba was pretty standard but super bland(usually they are a bit sweet). The tea was a little better but tasted pretty watered down. For the price it is unbeatable but next time I will invest a dollar or so more to get a better tasting beverage. The place also looked extremely unsanitary. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had rats roaming around chewing on your boba before they serve it to you.

In the midst of the famous Asian Gheettoo on Durant. A good place for quick milk tea, but their snacks i.e. popcorn chicken can take up to 20 mins wait time. Their boba were just average, some time too chewy as if it has been sitting in the fridge over night. However, they have very nice varieties of milk tea, non-milk tea, smoothies and other drinks. Their taro milk tea, jasmine green milk tea with egg pudding are pretty decent.

I don’t know what to tell you… It’s a typical chain Quickly’s. No seating or anything, it’s just a small shop with a counter inside Durant Food Court, more commonly known as Asian Ghetto. It’s meant to be a quick grab and go sort of deal. Come in, get out. Really quick considering there is a max of two people working, like less than 5 minutes, unless the line is out the door or teenagers who are visiting Berkeley order complicated drinks. Takes a bit longer if you order popcorn chicken, or any of the slushies/ices. The servers are nice :) But the boba is just alright, well made but just sub-par in flavor. The milk tea itself is what you can typically expect from a typical Quicklys. I only come here if I want milk tea for cheap and I want it fast. Other than that, I recommend checking out Berkeley’s other options in the boba saturated market.

The only reason why I come here is because of their small boba. Yum! The girl working at the counter also helped me find a caffeine-free yummy option, I think it might have been rose? Anyway, it was good. I hate walking in here though, cause I start to feel claustrophobic!

Typical boba place offering cheap milk tea. I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t like this place as much as I like Sweethearts. Being able to see their kitchen also doesn’t help much because it just looks … so … unsanitary. I always feel bad for the employee working because he/she is usually alone handling the crowd.

Quickly is probably my 2nd favorite milk tea joint.(Fantasia being the first) This specific Quickly location is alright, the store is incredibly small such that you can’t even wait for your drinks/food inside of the store because you’d be blocking the line to order. I know that it’s impossible to change the location now, but the size kind of annoys me sometimes. Another thing that annoys me is that I usually have to wait quite a bit for anything I order. There’s usually at most 2 people working at once and it just doesn’t seem like a very efficient system.(Maybe I just visit Quickly at the worst times.) Overall, the milk tea is good because it tastes like classic Quickly.(I’d prefer it over Sweethearts) The service and atmosphere, not so great.
