Yes it getting temperature too hot get the Pediatric size hot chocolate! Ah well, I decide go anyway! Upgrade the gift card by $ 11.55! Good way get rid change! The lady, Susan, recognized me or recognizes me! «Do you want your hot chocolate, plus the receipt?» Okay, that good! I say yes! As say getting too hot get hot chocolate but decided to anyway! Worth $ 1.50! Plus egg and cheddar sandwich, worth $ 3.45, so all that worth $ 4.95 if I doing math correct! Now the Sacra people may think 76 degrees too cold, but here in Bay Area, quite warm! Is good any restaurant where the employees/volunteers remember their customers!

I usually tend to avoid this Starbucks and would rather prefer to go to the one on Oxford, but the lines are shorter here. In the past, I was here with a friend who got her wallet stolen by a lady who asked to sit with us at the table. More recently, I came here to celebrate completing finals during the Frappuccino Happy Hour week. Not only did they not have most of the drinks I asked about, they also didn’t have the ingredients for the advertised Birthday Cake Frappuccino…

Starbucks is known for serving a consistently average cup of coffee at every location. This is not my favorite location, but not the worst place you could go to. My biggest issues are the limited seats and that it’s usually surrounded by homeless folks asking for money. Also, their restroom is constantly out of order. I get that those are normal things for a Starbucks downtown, but can’t help wanting to avoid this location. While the baristas here are pretty friendly, the quality of the drinks are consistently a bit lower here than other locations. I know they offer to re-make drinks if they’re not great, but it’s a pain to have to constantly do that with a simple order. Oh well… If you can find a seat, it’s a solid place to use wifi at though!

There was a cashier who yelled at us to get out if we are not going to buy stuff. We were just trying to choose what to get. Very unpleasant experience in this starbucks. Try going to other starbucks on oxford or telegraph instead.

I worked at Starbucks for 4 years so I have very low tolerance for bad customer service. I understand this job can be frustrating but there is no need to be rude to customers. Three out of the three of the baristas I interacted with were rude– sighing at my order(soy chai no water?) then huffed at me when the order was written down wrong. I’m also unimpressed with the amount of tables here. I’ve never been here before and I won’t be back.

It’s great that they are open at 5am, but the sticky floor and endless stream of vagrants including the one guy who was digging through the garbage and stacking it all up on the counter, make this a Starbucks I will only patronize when it’s before 6am and I’m desperate!

Girl with blonde long braids. I was standing right in front of the counter. In front of her and didn’t even look at me. She was looking everywhere but me and didn’t take my order. She waited until the other person at the register to take my order. Horrible service

I understand that on Friday nights everyone wants to go home on time and get to whatever business they have planned that night. That does not mean you have the right to yell at customers to leave at 8:59 when you could have easily gone customer to customer and pleasantly tell them that you guys are closing. Your job as a Starbucks barista is to make customers feel like it is their«third place.» You, my dears, are doing your job terribly. Should have listened to the old homeless man outside warning us that the baristas that night were disrespectful and rude af.

Super friendly, whether I’m inside or at the drive thru, they introduce themselves and welcome me to their store. Say Good morning, and wish you a wonderful day. I always leave here with a smile. Customers at the morning rush drive thru are friendly as well — twice I’ve had my order paid for by the person in front of me! I love paying it forward! Drinks are consistently good! The food cooked evenly, I’ve never had burned up food and/or the wrong drink order. Definitely earned my loyal business! Thank you and keep it up!

When I went to school here this use to be one of the more common Starbucks spots I use to visit. I’m glad that much hasn’t changed. The girl behind the counter was extremely nice and was quick in getting my pastries warm for me(I snuck em in the theater if you’re following my reviews that’s 2⁄2 in the same day son!). I enjoy this small spot, but I will say that they definitely need to enforce some more rules about the homeless loitering right outside the doors. They’re extremely dirty and they can be very off putting to people walking by. Regardless a solid Starbucks I seem to always visit right before catching a film at Shattuck Cinema.

I love Starbucks and their coffee, but am not a fan of this location for a few different reasons. First off, up front parking is a rare commodity, in order to find a space close or even remotely near by, you have to be patient and wait 5 – 10 minutes or be willing to circle the block 3 – 4 times; in hopes that you just might catch a break. Once you do find parking you are not out of the clear yet, you still have to make your way to the front entrance, where you will be hounded on your way there by street kids for cash or gagged by their unpleasant odors, gotta love Berkeley. Once inside, you still might be asked for money again, but don’t feel obligated, lines will be longer than most other locations, so you will more than likely have 1 – 2 more opportunities to give back to the local transients. Order a coffee here if you must, but please don’t be mad if it doesn’t come out right the first two times, they can always remake it for you 4 more times; like they usually do for my «complicated» order(Venti Caramel White Chocolate Frappucino with Cinnamon).

This is right by the downtown BART station in Berkeley. I made a stop here as I was waiting for a friend and it was a good place to get some shelter away from the unusually cold day and warm up with hot chocolate. Boo for the restroom not being open.

To all the Starbucks of the world. Thank you, for reliable internet. Your service to the community is invaluable. For a price of caffeine, it is the consistency that trumps, coast to coast.

So i recently went here for a nonfat, double shot, no whipped crème, extra Carmel, no straw, no lid Frappichino. The person was not very kind about it she said«Sorry can you say that again? HOWRUDE! I can’t believe teens these days, back in my day we listened to our elders instead of chewing gum and tweeting on Facebook and telling stories on snappychat. I can’t believe people don’t listen to elders like me! I will make sure not to come here again!

This Starbucks right in the middle of Downtown Berkeley is slightly above average. It has a few tables and some effective power outlets. The employees are good at moving the line quickly. This location can occasionally fall victim to crowding. The location near Shattuck Cinemas and BART just about settles it for me. It is convenient, though there is lots of competition on Shattuck Avenue for your high-quality snacking dollars. There are other places I would rather go to especially in the unique world of Berkeley, but this will do. Starbucks is a familiar brand.

After dinner nearby, we decided to stop by to get some mochas at this Starbucks on Shattuck. There was no wait as we placed our order and the barista promptly made our drinks. Score! We even had no problems getting a table. Score! Overall, pretty good Starbucks. Quick and friendly service

Hooray for wireless chargers!!! They have it for all iPhones and also micro USB ones too! There are quite a few chargers, but limited charging spots(you put the charger on the spot to charge). But I still think the wireless chargers are pretty cool. You go Starbucks for upgrading your tech. :D I always drop by here when I’m in downtown Berkeley since it’s usually less crowded than the one on Oxford. Workers have always been super friendly and helpful, and I haven’t experienced any off drinks so far! They’ve all been pretty standard. What I like the most about this location in particular is that it’s great for people-watching. There are so many amazingly interesting people that come by this area, and it’s something you don’t get to experience in any of the coffee shops on or closer to campus. Shoutout to the old homeless man who sat across from me once. Your story about losing important items was touching and inspiring(‘: thank you.

I almost started a riot here on Wednesday. I wore my «Guns and Coffee» T-shirt that day(under my coat) and never gave it a single thought going in to order a coffee. The person at the register got awfully snarky about the shirt’s apparent copyright-logo infringement, but I only bought the T-shirt, not designed and printed it(note to Starbucks: fight the fights you can win instead of pissing on loyal customers). This is when it got ugly. They wouldn’t serve me. I wasn’t rude to them; I neither displayed any hostility toward them or treat them unkindly; didn’t use profanity, sarcasm, or shout at them; I wasn’t anything but a perfect gentleman. But I didn’t start this fight and while not wanting to do anything to exacerbate the situation or give them any excuses, I am a paying, loyal customer and expect to not only be treated politely and with RESPECT and good manners, but I also expect fair treatment as well. Nor was I asked or otherwise demanded to leave, vacate the premises, or get the hell out of there. I wasn’t going to put my tail between my legs or slink out of the store after their verbal abuse. For God’s sake, don’t step on my tail. When that happens, I bite. Someone else came up to me(a Starbucks employee, judging by their apron), literally got in my face, and began demanding to know if I «was armed.» As there are no signs on the door declaring this to be a no-gun zone, I told the individual that whether I’m armed or not is not a topic for discussion and, frankly, it is none of their damn business — unless they are a uniformed police officer with ID and badge present, and even then, I’m going to politely ask for their LEAA-approved ID before we discuss whether or not I am armed or have a CACCW permit card. The very last thing I’m going to do if I was carrying a concealed weapon is to display it. That’s against the law. The hostile, in-my-face Starbucks employee threatened to call the police and as a large number of people vacated their seats when the fracas started, I had a pleasant place to sit down, plug in my road warrior, answer my email, and wait for the police to arrive. I did call my attorneys after I stopped recording the incident on my cell phone(my smartphone will record up to three hours of video): did my protagonists happen to notice my cellphone at chest level, pointing at them? My attorneys asked if I’ve given them probable cause, and the very entertaining video proves that, in fact, I did not. At the very least, it should make interesting viewing on YouTube. The police never showed, if they were called at all: one hour passed, then another, and I finally had to leave. I wanted to pull down my shorts and wave bye-bye to them, but that wouldn’t be very dignified, distinguished or gentlemanly, would it? I spend about $ 600 per month at Starbucks: I take my wife and friends to Starbucks almost every day. But not now.

I really like this location compared to the one on oxford. With less students here, it’s a nice place to study and enjoy a cup of coffee. Workers are really friendly but I’ve encountered them to space-out on my order. Like when I said no room in my coffee, they still left room. This is rather minor but then why ask? Also, their bathroom is really clean and even requires a code for entry. Overall, a great location but limited seating can make it tough to hang out here.
