Okay, fine, I ate the whole donut… maple glazed. Should have been Yeast donut but from the texture it could have been anything. A few days old maybe?
But I still ate the whole thing, so not too bad. Just don’t expect something comparable to King Pin’s. Eh what a waste of 69 cents and a few hundred calories.

Tropical Island… hmmm…sounds like a juice or smoothie place or another Hawaiian restaurant on Shattuck. Well, nope. It’s just another Asian owned donut/​ice cream shop. I’m sure they’ll start selling Chinese food or Louisiana fried chicken soon enough. It’s a shame something better didn’t open up in this location after Mrs. Fields closed down.
