Great service and food. This is our default destination for quick sushi/Thai/Chinese/Japanese at a reasonable price. My s/o always orders the chicken lettuce wraps which she loves(especially the dipping sauce). The place is small but is usually busy around dinner time, but the wait isn’t ever too long. I think this is due to the staff being very responsive and efficient… meals come out quick and there’s no «wasted» time waiting for someone to get you something or to refill your drinks. It’s BYO, so you’ll need to supply your own alcohol, but that’s he only downside to this place if you consider that a downside. However this greatly reduces your meal bill and you can bring in whatever beer or wine you want instead of going with only whatever overpriced stuff the restaurant would have. Overall, this is our default destination for quick Asian food… well above the quick Chinese restaurants and a lot more efficient than he bigger hibachi places where you go for a show and much larger dinner bill.

I’ve eaten at this place numerous times and have never been disappointed. The sushi always had great flavor, a good balance of ingredients, and are well constructed. Although I have found that their sushi special for the day was never really worth it and I always found myself happier with one of the items on the menu. While I’ve only ever eaten sushi here, my friend has ordered some of their entrees before, including the teriyaki chicken, and the bites I have had at them were so good. The place has a nice charm to it inside. Well decorated and a good atmosphere. This place can get quite busy and it can be a little annoying that the tables are so close to one another when the place is packed(the space itself is fairly small), but the service is always friendly and the food makes up for it.

The wait staff is courteous and super efficient! The food is always delicious and sumptuous. The establishment is small, but comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The menu is fairly inclusive and you shouldn’t have any difficulty finding something to please your palate. Have always dined in, but recently ordered takeout. The presentation was just as good as the dine in servings. The price is very fair for what you get!

Got the pad thai. Hands down the worst I’ve ever had. ZERO flavor. The noodles were plain. Bland, bland, bland. I would give 1 star but I’m just passing through so I’m being generous

The food was very good. Portions were average for the price. We enjoyed sweet and sour chicken, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and the hibachi shrimp with fried rice. I would go there again.

Food was great! The shrimp in my sushi was fried fresh and that is really hard to find. Usually other restaurants would serve you something that was fried an hour ago. The service was also good, nothing to complain about. Would go back for sure!

My go to place for sushi. I have not tried any of the thai or chinese menu items and don’t plan to as I have heard from friends that they are not that good. I would say stick to the Japanese selections. The place is very nice and the service is great. My only gripe is that they changed my favorite roll in the entire world(their version of a sweet potato roll), and now it is just like every other place and no longer tastes good. Oh well!

Many positions which you see on pictures don’t exist on the menu. They try to make food fancy but food is just ok. Overrated place.

Came for lunch. Walked in and the décor was nice and relaxed. Ordered some tempura, spicy roll, soup and some other things. The tempura was hot and delicious. The rolls were really good with a nice blend of flavor. The crispy spicy roll was really different Thant I’ve had before and I really enjoyed it. Great contrast of hot and cold, fresh and fried. Service was fantastic, quick and responsive. Prices were very reasonable. Look forward to coming back for lunch or dinner.

This is my favorite place in the lehigh valley. The food is always delicious, the staff is always friendly, and everything is very clean. The consistency of this restaurant makes it deserving of 5 stars. Of course I would have to recommend any of their fresh sushi options. Also, very reasonable prices for the quality you get!

I have been here a ton of times so I’m surprised I haven’t written a review for it yet! I’m slacking. This is one of our go-to spots when we want hibachi or sushi. It’s close by to the house and it’s good food. We’ve ordered out and dined in. It is BYOB, yet we still somehow always forget to bring something to drink with us. So don’t be those people and remember to bring your alcohol! You can sit at the sushi bar or at many of the tables they provide. I usually stick with the hibachi because it’s so good. I’ve ordered the vegetarian and the shrimp and both are very delicious. You only get soup or salad so make sure you tell them which one you want. It’s a ton of food and full of flavor so you don’t be disappointed. My +1 orders the sushi, he usually orders a salmon avocado and will pick one special roll. Last time he got the Iron Man roll and it looked delicious. He also has had the Pad Thai and it was good. I highly recommend visiting this place. It’s a nice atmosphere and good food. Don’t forget to tip the sushi guy if you get sushi too! :)

Apparently this place use to be good, now it’s the definition of mediocrity. I’ve literally never seen a place skimp on sushi rice to the point they do(like how little was on the roll was almost impressive if it didn’t make it worse) and the spicy tuna roll, which was lacking in any spice, was cut half with crunch that I didn’t want, it was a flavorless mush of crunch, very little tuna, and no flavor. I won’t be going back

Their steak hibachi is to die for! Also very happy they have red bean paste mochi since only Robatas of Allentown had it(unfortunately they are closed now). Anyways, One Third’s atmosphere is very warm and inviting and if you don’t feel like eating in the restaurant, you can always order it as take out and it will still taste like the five stars inside. Always treated kindly.

A fourt star review for this place! I am brutally honest when it comes to food, and this review will be no different. I have absolute reverence for good, family owned places and most of my reviews will reflect that. On the same note, I detest pretentious. over-priced establishments that feed of the veneer of their exterior vur completely hollow inside. I have been here twice and was horrified with the food. They are the over-priced version of the hundreds of chinese take-aways and buffets in the area. They even have the same items, simply dressed up in a fancy looking menu and with different names. Gyoza(fried pork dumplings), Yaki Tori(grilled chicken on skewers)! In addition to this, they have the usual Americanized chinese items like general Tso’s and some Thai and Japanese dishes. Their food is bland and you can find most of their menu items in chinese buffets. Their food is not even better than the buffets. Its bland and inconsistent. The sauces lack seasoning, on occasions too sweet and for the price, simply bad. I cannot understand why people would want to pay more to have the same food they can eat at the buffets or take outs and tastes considerably worser than most. Yes the restaurant looks clean and has some pretentious fancy décor. But is that the sole criteria? Not for me. I went back a second time because I really thought the first time was a fluke. It was not. One third is a gigantic disappointment.

My husband and I came here for dinner on Saturday, February 28. The restaurant is small, yet warm, cozy, and inviting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We found the prices to be reasonable and comparable to other similar places in the Valley. We both ordered the Pad Thai noodles… my husband got chicken and I had the mixed vegetables. The flavor was DELICIOUS! Mine had TONS of fresh veggies, peppers, onions, mushrooms. We both could not get over how fresh the dishes were. We will definitely be back!

THELVFOODWINECRIDS. Hi All, first telling everyone How we are grading the places we visit. We will be grading on a 10 point system. 1. Atmosphere and cleanliness 2. Service 3. Presentation 4. Taste and Quality Let’s get into this Well we ended up at ONETHIRD Asian Cuisine on Linden st. In Bethlehem The Place is small, but very clean and pleasant to be in. The staff was courteous and Professional. So I must admit the young chefs had me a bit nervous, but they did not disappoint The presentation was excellent and the taste was a home run. It reminded me of Musashi on 7 th. st. in Allentown back in the day So over all we have given ONETHIRD a score of 7.5. We encourage everyone who enjoys Sushi, to go out and try this place. Please feel free to send us your comments and opinions. Until next week. Go and enjoy some local Food and Wine. Fred-JR
