Rudy’s Diner Bar & Grill

This was the first time eating at Rudys and it was very good. The restaurant was clean and cheery. The waitress was quick and friendly. The breakfasts we got were hot and tasty. I had the eggs benedict and it came with hash browns. It did not disappoint. Hubby got the Huevos Rancheros. He said his was really good also with plenty of chorizo, fresh made guacamole and salsa. We will be back real soon. I am interested to try lunch!

I had the chicken quesadilla and the chicken ceasar wrap. They were both really good, especially the quesadilla. My wife had the open faced Turkey sandwich and really liked it. Everyone was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

OMG… excellent food. Almost afraid to say so because we might not get in so easily next time. We figured that the food was good because we have tried to go here for breakfast. OK… still haven’t made it in for that meal but dinner was sensational and anybody that knows us will tell you that we are «foodies» or «food snobs». Not to mention the fabulous service from Vivian — try to sit in her section. She offered and suggested some great desserts. Yes, we even ate dessert. The owner Carla, even came over to see if everything was satisfactory. She also told us that it was Rudy’s one year anniversary and that next time we should go off the beaten path and order some of the cuisine of Honduras. Which by the way we will sometime soon.

Good solid diner food. Had the burger and it was great. Everyone that worked there was super friendly. Lots of customers coming in so you could tell this is a popular place.

Excellent food, service, n atmosphere. Ur missing out if u have not been here yet. Chicken parm is homemade w delicious sauce. Authentic Greek salad full of all the things u want n I had grilled chicken on top. Chicken Cesar salad also amazing. Many desserts but the chocolate cake n chocolate mouse pie was over the top good. Can’t wait to try lunch n breakfast.

Excellent, fresh food and generous portions. The owner Carla is very conscientious in pleasing her customers. She adds things to the menu that her customers like. I’ve been three times and very very happy with the food and service. Our server tonight, Vivian, is equally conscientious.

Food is fresh, delicious and high quality. Service is prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable. They have a bar and awesome happy hour. Desserts are delicious!

My husband I went there last night for dinner and we had a great time. I think the staff alone made it so enjoyable. It wasn’t very busy but there is no way it’s because of the food! We enjoyed it all and the Margarita was awesome! We’ll definitely be back!

Had Sunday breakfast at Rudy’s. Pretty standard omelet but home fries were excellent, crispy on the outside and tender inside. French toast was OK. Clean, bright restaurant with friendly staff.

The owner is really nice and welcoming. The food is good for being a diner and what I really appreciate is you can order ahead and pick it up to go which is good for people who are on the go.

Having eaten many times at Rudy’s since it opened, I’m sorry to say I have to write a lackluster review. I often order the turkey club, because they used to do it so well – hand carved, fresh turkey and plenty of it. When I ordered it yesterday, the sandwich was made with processed turkey, and the french fries were cold. I asked what happened to the turkey they used to use, and I asked if I could have the sandwich made with the turkey they serve on the hot open face sandwich.
With that, the waitress said they would make a fresh sandwich. After a while, the owner came over and told me that the turkey on the club was the same as they always used «just a different cut», and it is the same turkey they use on the open face hot turkey sandwich. Sorry, but this is just not true. They changed over to processed turkey where they had formerly been using fresh roast turkey. If it’s true that they are also using this lunch meat turkey on the hot open face sandwich, then that is just plain nasty.
I imagine that this is a cost saving move, and I’m okay with that, but please don’t lie right to my face. I’ve ordered this sandwich and raved about it in the past, and I know processed turkey when I’m given it.

2^nd visit and just as fabulous! Food was great and our waitress was awesome! She went above and beyond to make sure we were content. I got their cream chipped beef over hash browns, so yummy! Plus a side of fresh fruit, it was fresh! None of that hard cantelope crap you usually get at a restaurant, nice and ripe. Still like this place a lot. Keep up the good work!

3 of us are there. tonight. The Seafood Chowder was thick and hearty and loaded with seafood. Warm dinner rolls came with butter and delicious dipping oil. Side salad was mixed greens, cucumber, green pepper, and grape tomatoes-​fresh, crispy and NO brown rust! Was big, fresh, delicious! My grandson got a cheeseburger and fries– cooked medium just the way he liked it and fries were hot and crisp Cooked perfectly. Cuban Sandwich was large, full of meat, cheese and FRESH avacado. I got the Chicken Florentino it was a large portion served over pasta, I didn’t think I would like the sauce cause it was thin and I prefer a thick hearty sauce, but it was absolutely delicious– I asked for extra sauce and got more then enough, there was lots of spinach and cheese on top of the chicken breast. when I was halfway done I was going to take the rest home because I was feeling full, but it was so delicious I ate every last bite! I am so glad that it reopened after 4 years to having this may be the best kept secret in Lehigh Valley! We definitely will be going back! Our waitress Ashley was very polite and professional! The owner is really nice and friendly too!

This morning we went to Rudy’s based on the reviews here.
I was not disappointed. I ordered the French Toast Deluxe which includes bacon, ham, patty sausage, two eggs and hash browns. They give two large pieces of Texas toast for the French toast portion. All that for 6.95.
Not only was it hands down one of the best breakfast plates I have had in the last twenty years but it was also massive in size.
Everyone that worked there that walked by the table had smiles on their faces and said hello to us.
One of the owners was at the front and had originally seated us. She was kind, considerate and seemed genuinely happy to see us. Service was spot on.
Prices are in line with diners in the Lehigh Valley but here the food portions, at least for breakfast, were huge.
As we paid the bill I told the owner that I was going to give them five stars on Unilocal.
It was a fantastic experience to be treated so well as first time patrons.

Great breakfast. This was our second time going and both meals were great. I had the Hungry Man and it did not disappoint. Portions are more than fair and the quality was high. Our server was on top of things without being on top of us.

Super yum! Did lunch and it was awesome! California grilled chicken sandwich was fantastic! Fast too. Great service. We will be back!

Excellent lunch. I always enjoy a Cuban Sammie and their Cuban ciabatta did not disappoint. Might be one of the best I’ve ever had, with awesome fresh bread and real roasted pork — like slow cooked pulled pork — and excellent mustard. Definite repeat.

Inattentive service. Fast delivery of breakfast plate after a long wait to have order taken. Most of one piece of toast missing (see picture). I love eating locally. There are other nearby breakfast places. Go there instead.

Had a delightful brunch at Rudy’s today. This is my first time there. I found it offers delicious and varoed food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. It was spacious and bright with booths and tables. I highly recommend it.

Enjoyed a great breakfast at Rudy’s today. The prices aren’t discount level, but you get what you pay for. Went with the hungry man breakfast to get an overview of breakfast items. The sausage was terrific. Great jumbo eggs. Enjoyed the French toast as well — great flavor. Will be back to try lunch and even dinner in the future.
