This place is great! I come here often and really enjoy the tea and coffee. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I come here when I need strong coffee with a kick and need to wake up! Peers coffee is so strong that it almost is an acquired taste to some. Staff is great and friendly. They listen to how you want things made and mixed. This location has plenty of open seating and tables available to sit and relax. The seating areas also conveniently have plugs located below them so you can charge while you sip. There is also a bench located outside if you want to sit and people watch. Overall a nice location, although can get busy on the weekends during midday.

Have been a faithful one a week coffee buyer here for about a year. Customer service is non existent. They aren’t mean but they aren’t friendly. If I’m coming in and greeting you with a good morning every time I come in I expect a SMILE and a good morning back. Can’t even get emotion out of any of the employees. There is a gentleman that makes the coffee that is kind of friendly. Sad to say I won’t be going here anymore. I love peets coffee but will go elsewhere if that means I get greeted and at least get a hello

I’m a regular customer and used to come here even more regularly, because, in addition to its many assets(large, comfortable environment, good coffee, etc.), they used to play music at pleasant level that wasn’t invasively loud and grating. You could talk to others and/or work on your projects without being so distracted by the loud volume that you couldn’t concentrate. Unfortunately, though, for the past several months a particular crew of clerks cranks up obnoxious music at a hard-to-hear-yourself-think level. In fact, it’s at the level of a loud techno club, not a coffee-house. I politely asked a few times if they would turn down the music(not sure why this would be a big deal, since I’m a regular customer and spend a lot of money there), and two clerks rolled their eyes, gave me attitude, and actually turned UP the music! I was the only customer in the place at the time, so it’s not as if other invisible customers wanted loud, deafening music. This is a huge turn-off and has made me not want to return or spend any more money here. For this particular crew of clerks(girl with shaved head and pink mohawk is one of them), what THEY want is much, much more important than want the customers want. Is this behaviour driving others away? Most likely — since the place is dead.

Very nice place for a chill-out occasion, very comfortable and kick back setting. The freshly brewed coffee is better than Starbucks.

If you want wireless don’t come here. It’s so slow it’s practically worthless. I asked an employee and it sounds like a common issue.

I have a sweet tooth and I was in the area today and went in for a brownie. I got it to eat in the store and took a bite. It was rock hard. Stale is the wrong word for this experience … It was inedible. I went to the counter to tell the lady and asked for a new one. They refused. I was very polite and asked again but was informed that«it doesn’t matter if their pastries are stale once I take the first bite I’m stuck with it». Needless to say I’ll never eat here again.

Hmm I don’t know today I got a non fat vanilla latte pretty simple right? It kinda tasted bitter but sweet if that makes any sense .I think I’ll use up my gift cards and go back to Starbucks :-/

Love peets, I advertise to my friends every day about how it truly is the best value for the money. I was turned off to this location due to this, they don’t offer the complimentary house coffee when you purchase coffee beans. Every other location from Orange County to LA does. What’s up with that? Management needs to train their employees on corporate policy.

I prefer Starbucks because the service is generally consistent. Peet’s has stronger brews in my opinion. But the service is nonchalant. It was like he was doing me a favor. I didn’t run into the bubbly barista that my friend, Michael S. ran into. Instead I met a guy with luscious brown hair that was more into his conversations with his co worker. I was just a nobody. Meh.

Good coffee but too bad they haven’t invested in toaster ovens since I prefer to have my pastries and muffins heated. When I asked the barista, she said oh sorry we don’t do that here as if it was an extra ordinary request. More expensive than Starbucks down the same street but Starbucks has way more options! Good space and seating though.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The coffee is consistent with the corporate standards that one should find with their brand. The shop is busy and the noise level can get loud if you’re trying to study or concentrate on something. The seating is not the most comfortable. I would like to see more cushioned chairs, but they can’t have people stay there too long. However, a couple of nice cushioned chairs would be great for a quick relaxation before getting back to work or whatever you’re doing. Parking is an issue, but not tragic. There’s a free two-hour lot nearby, but getting in and out is time-consuming. There are meters in front of the shop, but they are very difficult to find. There is one-hour of free parking behind the shop in the residential neighborhood, but it’s difficult to obtain one of thosespots unless you want to walk far.

A great coffee place that serves a higher quality and more complex cup than Starbucks. I really like this place and think it was one of the better coffee chains. I like this location on South Beverly as it is near a lot of great restaurants and shops.

For Peet’s sake, it’s a chain coffee shop. Does it require another review? Probably not, but here’s a shout out to the friendly Peeps at Peet’s in Beverly Hills. You’re java house may not be as magical as Urth Caffe across the street or Chaumont Bakery up Beverly, but you fill your niche of neighborhood coffee dispensary perfectly. A bubbly barista talked me into an Iced Matcha Latte for a blend of Green Tea & Milk to help make it through the day. You sir … are a gentleman and a genius. Carry on. Peet’s Coffee & Tea is a good choice to plug-in and recharge. Hanging out is allowed … so hang. The large open area is inviting with plenty of different styles of seats to suit your mood. It’s not fancy … it’s Peet’s. Free parking for 2 hours(before 6pm) is about a half block away in the city garage. Peet’s and re-Peet as needed.

Isn’t it a joy to walk into a business and be greeted with a smile, catch the vibe that each and every worker is glad to be there, have product questions answered quickly, knowledgeably and receive swift service? That’s Peet’s! Not only at this location, but in my experience, chain wide! A business meeting, this warm, nearly tropical, Saturday morning, brought me here a few minutes early(can’t help it, it’s a Virgo/Dragon rising thing) with just enough time to order something cool to fortify home-brewed espresso. Craving an additional eye-opener, my barista explained the caffeinated difference between the Hibiscus Cooler and the Pomegranate Iced Tea . No-brainer, I went for the«jolt» :) Ask for the wifi access code, a new one/printed reciept is issued for each customer at the register. 4.5 Stars!
