Don’t get me wrong… I’m a huge fan of Urth Caffe. I’ve vistited the one of Melrose as well as the Arts District and love both, but Beverly Drive… you failed me. I’ll start by saying that it wasn’t busy. We ordered one espresso, an Italian cappuccino, an American Cappuccino, a napoleon and a fruit tart. The espresso was ready before we even left the counter, the change for our tab as well as the desserts arrived about 10 minutes after we were seated… and the Cappuccinos… those went MIA. Apparently the need to put the outdoor umbrellas away because the sun had shifted became a priority and our Cappuccinos had been put on the back-burner. We watched the barista leave the espresso machine to attend to «umbrella gate.» 20 minutes pass… no cappuccinos… I get up to ask…“they are working on them” I was told… with no barista behind the machine – he was still tending to the umbrellas. 30 minutes pass and finally our lukewarm cappuccinos arrived. The customer service and rank of priorities seem more than a bit off. I would have never thought that dragging umbrellas(yes, dragging) past us one after the other would’ve taken priority out of getting your orders out in a timely fashion. In hindsight, I could’ve driven to the Melrose location, ordered my capp’s and driven back in time to have enjoyed them with my below par desserts. I don’t see myself coming back to this location… I’ve been to the adjacent locations where it has been packed with lines out the door and I’ve had a much better experience and received far superior customer service.

I have only come here for dinner or a late lunch with my friend who lived in the area. This is one of her favorite spots, and for good reason! The food is fresh, for the most part healthy, and the atmosphere is super chill. Pastries and tea to go are always great!

We live in San Diego but went there a couple Saturdays ago for lunch. You order and pay at the register and then sit down to be served. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was packed but we were able to order and sit quickly. Such a charming place, looks like a cute little country house. We ordered pizza, a fruit tart and milk tea with boba. Everything was delicious! Best milk tea I’ve had so far, so fresh. Tiny tables outside were the perfect size for two people. We will definitely go again when we’re in town.

The NY cheesecake is amazing! I’m not a cheesecake fanatic but I really did enjoy the one here. It’s a good size for two people to share. The pizza here is also pretty good!

This place is always so packed but it’s a great spot! I love the Spanish latte, it’s a MUST if you’re a first timer. Parking is really hard to find, though. Thai tea boba is really really good! Better than the green tea boba. Love Urth!

Good food! Parking is a problem, and a lot of people! But good food… I live down the street from here, so it’s nice to come walking sometimes.

I always get the Spanish latte or honey vanilla latte… dark roast. If you want a certain kind of art on it, you need to let the cashier know or you just get whatever kind of art, usually a leaf. Get the sunrise pizza, it has potatoes, sausage, basil and a poached egg. You can share this with 2 – 3 people. Be prepared to wait and it’s really hard to find parking here. I go here often and the food and drinks are always delicious. Try the chocolate pistachio croissant-perfect texture of flaky and crispy.

urth was probably one of the places i was most looking forward to on my trip to los angeles and it didn’t disappoint! super sad that they only have locations in socal though [poach di parma] two poached eggs with two bundles of prosciutto and arugula topped with tomato salsa, all atop a piece of rustic bread, also served with melons and strawberries i noticed quite a lot of people ordering this, so I did too(peer pressure :) the flavors worked well, like the runny egg, crisp arugula, and savory prosciutto the only thing was that it was quite difficult to eat with a tough crust on the bread and everything kinda fell apart as i was eating it [d’lox pizza] a single serving pizza topped with mascarpone, dill, smoked salmon, arugula, and capers i tried a slice of this and i felt it was the best out of the three dishes we ordered the best pizza i’ve had, with the creamy mascarpone, fresh arugula, and savory salmon the crust held up well to the mountain of toppings without being incredibly hard to eat i loved it and would definitely order again! [spinach and mushroom quiche] the name is pretty self explanatory, a small egg based pie-like dish with spinach and mushrooms, served with a mixed green salad the buttery crust paired well with the creamy filling, but I felt that the flavors could be better definitely my least favorite out of the three, but still very good [drinks] green tea boba an iced green tea latte base over ice with boba(kinda(very) surprised that urth has boba???) the green flavor is strong but i’m pretty sure the drink is just milk and matcha powder LOL whatever it’s still good and i would definitely order it again! japanese tea latte vibrant green cup of goodness, topped with adorable latte art tbh this tasted exactly like the green tea boba, just hot and served in a mug i got a bird for the latte art and would probably order again just for that! [everything else] service was pretty minimal, just going up the the register, ordering, finding a place to sit, and a server bringing the food out to you there’s not much interaction, but workers were still polite and attentive seating is kinda limited and pretty cramped outside, but it’s LA, so okay street parking was easy to find on a sunday morning, but i would imagine it being harder during lunch hours overall, one of the best places to eat at in LA, also super instagramable too oops

I used to come here all the time because I loved the location and atmosphere. Lately though, over the last few months, I’ve noticed a panhandler that is almost ALWAYS posted up right by the restaurant in the AM. At first I felt bad and began to ask around about him and spoke to some city officials, and they informed me that he’s not homeless! He’s a scam artist who has a place to live and just comes to this location to get extra money and food from hard working people like myself. If you don’t give him anything he gets extremely rude, and when I asked management about this, they told me that he was«a nice guy» and later that day I caught an employee giving him food. It seems like this man eats from this place 4 times a day! He’s eating better than me and that really gets to me. This man also will go to the outside eating area and ask you for money or tablescraps while you’re trying to enjoy your meal. After I concluded that the restaurant and management did not care, I asked the city for a solution. They referenced me to the Beverly Hills Ambassador program, so I gave them a call. To my surprise they actually came out to speak to the man, but this just caused him to freak out and start shouting out racial slurs and homophobic slurs right by the patio area. I then overheard employees of the restaurant saying that the Ambassadors were stupid and that they needed to leave him alone. Well guess what Urth Caffe… this man needs to LEAVEYOURCUSTOMERSALONE. The next time I come by, if I see this man near again, I’m going to keep on driving.

This place is cute and the food is good. I ordered the Caravan Kale Salad, minus the quinoa, tomatoes, and pita chips(food allergies) and it was delicious! I normally like the kale in my salads to be shredded. Here, it’s chopped into kinda big chunks, but it still tasted great. My mom ordered the Urth Salad, which was also pretty tasty. I’d hesitate to come here if I were in a rush b/c it’s super crowded(so may be a wait for seating) and it takes a while to get your food.

It is always a pleasure to come grab a quick bite at any time of the day! The location and the«small home» feel is awesome! Even though I dont live in California anymore — I usually find myself wandering in for a snack whenever I visit. I HIGHLY recommend the butternut squash soup. A cup of that is super filling and the bread provided alongside is the perfect medium between crisp and soft :) I recently tried the margarita pizza and as a «die-hard carnivore», its saying a lot about the quality and taste of a vegetarian pizza if I’m willing to eat it… ALL. BYMYSELF. haha always end my visit with something sweet. This time I got the Chocolate pound cake… there were 3 slices and I was like«THANKYOU, JESUS!»(I am a sucker for chocolate) The Urth Café is just one of those places that will be a constant in the LA’s Food Circles.

This place has a great of variety food! There is something for everyone on the menu. Their burrata pizza is one of my favorites and the Mediterranean plate is another one of my top-rated choices. It’s filled with many tasty options such as the tabbouleh salad, hummus, and sarma with grape leaves. Great to come here for a nice light and quick lunch or a coffee with friends. Their green tea and black tea boba smoothies are delicious. Especially considering the fact that I’m not a huge boba fan! Seems to be everyone’s favorite! They also have the best blueberry cheesecake I’ve ever tried as well as some other tasty treats.

This was probably the hardest review I had to write so far, mostly because I couldn’t decide how many stars to rate it. Parking is a hassle, especially during weekend brunch. We got lucky and found metered parking right outside the establishment. On Sundays, meter turns on at noon and you get three hours max at $ 2 per hour. So come early on Sundays if you want a better chance at finding parking FORFREE. We ordered Natural Beef Hash with toast, a Breakfast Burrito, and two Green Tea Lattes. This is where my dilemma starts. The green tea lattes were delicious! Presentation was great, and a size medium was just perfect, especially for it’s price. The food however … was so unimpressive! It wasn’t bad at all, but it didn’t amaze me either. This might sound a bit sad, but the best part of my Natural Beef Hash was my toast and butter lol… at least that had more of a hearty feeling to it? My friend was also unimpressed with her breakfast burrito. Nothing super memorable about Urth. It’s just really cute with yummy lattes. If there’s a long line or if I had to deal with terrible parking conditions, I would just skip this place and not think twice about it. There’s plenty of places with cute lattes. I really wanted to give Urth a higher rating, but based on my meal, I just don’t think it deserves it. Maybe I’ll have better luck with the menu next time.

Urth is such a hip and cute place. I always have a relaxing and pleasant time whenever I come here. Street parking is hard to find, but they have valet around the corner. Service is great and everyone is so friendly. They are very organized, definitely averted some possible chaotic situations since the place is so popular. My goto order is the Japanese Tea Latte, it’s basically Matcha Latte. They make cute coffee art on it, and it’s so creamy and it has the perfect sweetness to my taste. If I don’t feel like coffee, they also serve boba drinks. Their boba is organic, and tastes SOGOOD, you’ve got to try it! They also serve great food other than drinks and desserts. All their food is organic and light, they have a good variety of healthy options. My new favorite for the dessert is definitely the Matcha Tiramisu, I think I left my heart there. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet, which is what I look for in desserts because I am not a sweets person. I NEEEEED to go back and have more.

This is one of my most favorite coffee shops. Aside from always being on the look out for good coffee, I always am in search for that perfect orange juice. Urth’s orange juice is just that. Another favorite here is their Spanish dolce latte. I can drink it hot, iced or granita. As for their pastries and cakes, I absolutely love their blueberry and strawberry cheesecakes.

Food only … I really would’ve given this place two stars but my friend enjoyed his salad after adding some extras at home. First let me say this, «Over F-ing rated». The salads.really. I could’ve went to Costco and made this salad because thats what they did. I ordered the OVERPRICED lettuce with a scoop of curry chicken salad.salad. So not worth it. This salad could be totally replicated here’s how: hit up Trader Joes and purchase their curry chicken salad and buy some mixed greens add some golden raisins. and there you have it! Now onto my friend. he ordered the earth salad and vegetarian chili. Nothing special but he enjoyed it after adding homemade taco meat. Beware the olives have pits. don’t break your teeth. Which again is possible because that hard a$$ supposedly gourmet bread. don’t waste the calories and save yourself a trip to the dentist. The vegetarian chili he described as more of a bean soup. I was so disappointed I called and complained which was a waste. Honestly for this high price…$ 32.00 lunch for two spend it somewhere else. I mean Beverly Drive only offers so much and parking sucks… won’t make this mistake twice!

Food 5 I just love their food, especially the SALMON pizza! So much cheese and flavors! Also, the green tea boba is great. Last but not least, their three layers cheesecake and the hazelnut cake!!! Must try :) Service 3.5 Usually they are great, but during rush hours, they forget your order and some small things. Environment 4 Good atmosphere but wish one day they have wifi…

The food was absolutely amazing. I had their curry chicken salad, tiramisu, and Spanish latte. All were incredibly decadent but not too heavy. The only issue I had was how small the seating space was. Had it been warmer on the day I visited I would have definitely sat in their patio area. Highly recommend to any visitors to Los Angeles, hit up one of their locations!

I was brought here twice, always busy and packed. And it’ll always be this way. This place is well-loved by people who are into healthy living and observe organic lifestyle. It’s a way of life for many and I myself value its benefits. Brunch. Come here for brunch and choose the outside seating. Their coffees and teas are impressive. Sandwiches and omelettes are simple but full of flavor. Love it!

Urth Café, I love you! Small quaint place in Beverly Hills that serves the most amazing cheese cake, pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffees and exotic teas. Kylie Jenner was rumored to frequent this place so I have my phone cam handy just in case! Hahahaha! When you enter the front door, a glass display full of delicious pastries welcomes you. You’re immediately transported into another world where the word«diet» does not exist. You can’t go wrong with their cheese cakes. Try the blueberry cheesecake; to die for! Very smooth with just the right amount of richness. Had the Ave Maria tea which is mix of kiwi, strawberry and other berries. Ordered small but it was served in a tea press which can serve a little over two cups. Street parking might be a challenge specially during peak hours. Valet parking is offered for a fee. What else should we expect in Beverly Hills. Plenty of biking racks if that is your mode of transportation.

Mmmmm, I can’t help but keep thinking about the blended green tea. Not the fabricated green tea they make by powders but the real deal green tea BLENDED! Loved it, not super sweet, or superficial. Also, tried the Moroccan Mint Blended which tasted like the mint chocolate mint candy but it was a minty tea drink, pretty tasty as well. Great refreshing drinks! The cheesecake looked super good and I really wanted to try it, but I was so full so my significant other got the Fruit Tarts. I, of course tried it anyways since it was in my face and it was very light, fresh, and not too sweet. The vanilla crème inside was light and creamy, they weren’t stingy like most fruit tarts you don’t really taste the cream filling. It was a bit small inside, people taking to-go were kind of jam packed near the walk way, there needs to be a better system for that. It’s a great place for a casual sitting, pep talks with acquaintances, and great patio setting. The workers there are really friendly and helpful even though they were super busy, great customer service. I will definitely be back again one day.

Hands down, this is my favorite café in LA. It’s also the café that my engineering classmates and I always head to whenever we finish finals or take a break from a design project or want to study somewhere other than the UCLA engineering computer lab. The memories & the company I’m with when I go to Urth is probably what makes me give this place 5 stars. I recommend getting either their butternut squash & ricotta pizza or their sunrise pizza.(both $ 11.95 each) If you’re not a big pizza fan, I recommend their lasagna or if you’re not too picky about how your paninis are done, those are decent too.($ 12.95) Their roasted turkey panini is on the dry side though, so I’d recommend trying their other choices. Their drinks are really rich too. If you like your drinks super sweet, their Spanish lattes are perfect. If you’re into green tea, I LOVE their Moroccan Tea Latte. It’s green tea infused with mint and sooo so good. It’s my ultimate favorite and my go-to drink. You can order it either as a Latte or as a cold boba drink. I definitely recommend trying it out at least once. ;) I’m not a big fan of their Red Thai Tea Latte(just tastes like a less sweet Spanish latte and not the best thai tea) and their Japanese Tea Latte is one of their more famous drinks. It’s matcha green tea(similar to the Moroccan tea latte but without the mint!). Drink orders come in 3 sizes and range in price from $ 3.50(small) to $ 4.50-$ 4.95(large). Lastly, the desserts! The matcha tiramisu is one of their most famous desserts. Delicious and delicately baked. Other strong contenders for my recommended list of yummy desserts to try include their fruit tarts, granny smith apple pie, and vegan chocolate cake. There’s still a lot of desserts I have yet to try but I’m sure they’re all equally delicious. Other things to note: –Street parking. If you come on a good day, there’s no trouble finding parking(there’s actual stripes on the ground) really close to the café. –Urth can get quite busy and seating is limited. There’s outside seating and a little area in the back if you want some privacy and/or are with a big group. Servers are accommodating and will bring out chairs for you and your group if needed. –Despite being busy, it’s a nice place to study and get some work done if you don’t mind some background noise. Once the sun goes down, lighting can get dim if you’re not near a window, though!

Good experience here with a mellow vibe and perfect for socializing. During the night it has a very nice armosphere and cool place to hangaround with a couple of friends for a cup of coffee. Must check out if youre in the area.
