Over 15 years ago, my best buddy from kindergarten gave me a jar of Eva’s cherry preserves following a business conference in Bigfork. These are, without a doubt, the best tasting preserves I have ever tasted and I have given many jars away as gifts to family and friends… including my chiropractor… over the years. I buy by the 16 oz case of 12, which gets me through the year.

Located right in the heart of Bigfork (for almost 25 years), you can taste some of the best preserves you will every have a chance to try. They make some of my favorite huckleberry products and the raspberry preserves are also excellent. These recipes have been in the Gate’s family for decades and their production process is still basically a large scale «homemade» operation. Current offering include Preserves: (Wild Huckleberry, Black Raspberry, Spiced Apple, Red Cherry, Raspberry, and Strawberry) and Syrups: (Wild Huckleberry, Black Raspberry, and Wild Chokecherry).
