BT Steakhouse

I think BT Steakhouse is in decline. When they first opened, it was one of the best steakhouses down here. Over the past few years, they have been making cutbacks and changes while the prices still remain the same. Now it’s just not worth going any more when you can get more for your money at Outback or Longhorn. The last time I went, I ordered a 14 oz NY Strip. The meat was cooked well, but lukewarm, and NONE of the fat or gristle had been trimmed. I had a disgusting pile of inedible leftovers on my plate when I got done. The service was also kind of slow considering the place wasn’t even half full on a Saturday night. I probably won’t go back again.

This was our second time dining at this restaurant. Last year about late Feb, we stumbled in here to find a 3-​course prime rib special for $ 18. It was an amazing, and the prime rib was out of this world amazing. So we made a point to go back this year. While they didn’t have the same prime rib special, they had 10oz or 16oz prime rib. We ordered a 16oz cut and shared. It was great, but probably not as good as last year. They were offering a steamer platter special, and their website had other specials depending on the day. We ordered various desserts and shared. Bananas foster is cooked tableside. Key lime pie was excellent. Chocolate something was really rich and thick. Service is attentive and good. They offer a generous 20% military discount which is just a bonus. Their wine menu could be improved. They have the usual house wine names like Sterling.

Wonderful atmosphere. Small n quaint. The food is great. I love the ribeye so much I had to come back. Better than most 5star restaurant I’ve eaten. The price is reasonable. I just enjoy this place.

Outstanding!!! This is an excellent restaurant located inside of Boomtown Casino. The best prime rib I’ve eaten, without a doubt. They have excellent nightly specials on the board as you walk in. We had prime rib. Baked potato fully loaded, excellent bread, great salad with blu cheese, with a selection of outstanding deserts. This entire dinner was $ 17.99, including all of the above! They have an excellent menu with steaks and seafood. Full bar and wine list. Great atmosphere inside the restaurant with table linens and candles. Service was superb.
2 full meals with two glasses of wine for less than $ 50. I recommend highly! Get the specials for a great value.
