Blend Coffee House

Love this locally owned and run place. Excellent coffee, nice ambience, and great staff. Great selection of teas and sweets, too.

People are very nice but coffee is what we call the supermarket Italian roast quality!

Just learned earlier today that Bloomfield has a badass coffee house, right near where I grew up…
My friend and I stopped in here for a routine caffeine injection but stayed for the Spinach-​Feta pastries and a Hazelnut torte… Their coffee, food, and atmosphere is 10x better than certain other coffeehouse establishments…

Loved this place! The barista was so nice and friendly! Got the caramel macchiato — way better than Starbucks!

I really enjoy smaller coffee shops instead of a dd or Starbucks. Blend has a very cozy atmosphere, the first time we went we met the owners who were incredibly friendly. A hidden gem in Bloomfield

We drive out of our way to get a blended coffee drink from Blend Coffee House. Although I generally avoid sugary drinks (& definitely should have today after a cupcake in Montclair… Am writing this post sugar rush, with associated come down shakes…), the mocha is great on a hot day.
The service has always been extremely friendly. It’s not a rush in, rush out kinda place: they make quality coffee which takes a bit longer than your average coffee chain. Inside is relaxed, with a number of tables and they also have a couple of outdoor tables for when the weather is nice.
They apparently have live (acoustic?) music one night a week.
They sell food, which all looks good but I haven’t eaten there so this review does not take food into account.

Blend is a very nice café. The drinks and desserts are delicious, and the owners are very kind and helpful. It’s nice to go somewhere where the owners take pride in their business, and appreciate and care about their customers.

Yummy coffee and friendly baristas! The desserts and breakfasts look delish too but we are always on the go when we stop in. This place is a regular treat that is a must if you are in the Brookdale area.

Third time I’ve visited Blend for a quick coffee before boarding Decamp to NY. Blend has the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while and it never disappoints. What a find! Down the street from Holstens, you can’t miss it.

The barista is so nice and chill not to mention has some awesome hair. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable.
Two words… Magic Bar. It’s this absolutely delicious dessert bar with coconut, chocolate and other tasty ingredients. Really took me by surprise how yummy it was. The regular coffee is perfect. I need to try their lattes and other coffee drinks. I believe they have acoustic music on Tuesday nights — will definitely check that out soon.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE this place. We went in yesterday for the second time and met the owners. They are such a wonderful and nice couple. The coffee here is amazing (and I know coffee)! My fiancé is a once in a while coffee drinker and he loved it so much that he actually suggested we stop in yesterday! We had the Irish Cream latte and they gave us complimentary cream puffs to try, which were amazing! We were given chocolate mousse cream puffs and marshmallow cream puffs. I preferred the marshmallow, while my fiancé preferred the chocolate mousse. Both were delicious! Bloomfield was in desperate need of a great coffee shop where you can go and relax, have a great cup of coffee, and a sweet treat! No more Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts for me. I love supporting local businesses and this cute coffee shop definitely deserves it! :)

They say they’re snobs about their coffee here and I like that. It WAS a delicious dirty chai and latte. Place is super cute and full of sun.

This is the perfect place for me to stop after the gym. I have literally come here every single day since my first visit. I often look for a place to sit where I can just get some writing done before I begin my workday or whatever other errands I need to run.
This is a legit coffee shop and seems to be very accepted by the local community. During the weekday mornings, the wonderful girl (who’s name I do not know) has samples of beverage to try. She is very friendly and welcoming. There is also an open mic every Thursday evening (which I plan to attend one of these days).
I only have one gripe, I have recently cut back on my coffee intake and wish they had a larger variety of teas. Otherwise a great place to sit, lounge, and do whatever people do in coffee shops.

There really wasn’t anywhere to grab a scent cup of coffee before Blend. It’s cute and clean inside. Service is friendly and accommodating. They have multiple types of caffeinated beverages, along with snacks and pastries.
Since they’re still starting out they don’t have much food-​food to offer, but they can make a sandwich.
Turkey or ham, with cheese lettuce tomato on a buttered croissant. Hadn’t turkey sandwich. Pretty damn good.

While I like their coffee, I absolutely love their espresso. At this point, if I’m going in, it’s for an Americano – hot or iced.
The staff is super friendly.
I have yet to sample their pastries, but they offer a nice variety and the presentation is certainly pretty and appealing.

Niiiiiice coffee spot! I enjoy the Café Olé and the muffins. Pastries look good. Luz & Cheryl are wonderful to talk to. Nice spot to bring your devices and get some work done.

very nice coffee place with a huge selection of desserts and a cool vibe, owned and operated by friendly people. seems like a great choice for date night, studying (they have good wifi), chatting with friends, etc. the flan is great ! open 6:30 am to
9 pm
most days, i think on weekends they open at 7. easy to find street parking nearby.

I had my eye on this place for a while. I drive past here alot and had seen the sign that a new coffee shop was coming to town a few months ago. First time I visited I was immediately greated with a warm welcome and big smile from the Owner Luz. I’m a big supporter of local business and being a Bloomfield local it was a no brainer for me. Cheryl one of the baristas is super cool and so such a great person to talk too. She very welcoming and loves what she does.
The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. It has a very warm cozy feeling to the place (free wifi). I go there and enjoy my coffee slowly like coffee should be enjoyed, one sip at a time. Sometimes we forgot to stop and smell the coffee in our fast pace world. They have Open Mic Nights on Tuesday from 6:30 — 9:30pm, will definitely stop by and check them out one night if I get out of work early.
You won’t be disappointed and their prices are very resonable compare to those other big chains. I’m a big coffee drinker and their coffee is awesome. Stop by and check it out.

A solid café in a location that badly needed one. Plenty of seating (though a variety would be nice), pleasant ambiance, and friendly owner/​barista.
The coffee is nothing to get excited about, but it beats any nearby alternative. Without competition thurs bound to do well.
