Great little spot. We stop in for a cone or treat on occasion. The soft serve here is the best around and the variety is awesome. The prices are a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for. Remember to bring cash as it is still CASHONLY.

Maybe because early in the season… The other day I purchased two pints of hard ice cream, $ 4.50 per pint, no tax. Today I purchase two pints of hard ice cream, $ 5.50 per pint plus tax. How does this work??? Yes, still cash only. Yes, still no cash registers. No posted price for hard ice cream pints along with all of the other confusing prices. Good ice cream but overpriced and cash only is the reason for two stars.

Finally open for the season!!! We love this place and the quality is always great. Still cash only… still worth it!!! Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Weir’s has the best ice cream and the most friendliest staff. It’s a great stop off in the hamlet of Salisbury Mills.

Weirs has the absolute best ice cream. I wouldn’t even think about going to any other place for ice cream on a hot summer day. I really hope they stay in business forever. Please keep doing what you’re doing Weir’s!

This place is pretty good. Fast and convenient location. The selection is unmatched. The prices are consistent with any other ice cream stand, so I’m not sure why others feel it’s expensive?

Went here for the first time this past weekend, ice cream was fresh and delicious. Tasted my boyfriends ice cream soda with vanilla and I cant stop thinking about it!!! I’ll definitely be back soon. Cash only, can be lines but a great local feel.

Small vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. 30+ years and still my order. This place is amazing. I look forward to coming home each summer to get some weirs. It is a local favorite. Everyone in the area knows about weirs and looks forward to the seasonal opening each summer. Open April through September. Cash only. Outside seating. Best ice cream in the world — no joke. You will not be dispppointed. I feel that it is reasonably priced. Enjoy!

great selections. Price is about $ 4 per waffle cone. I thought was pretty expensive until i went to a different ice cream shop near by — they charged the same amount for hershey’s ice cream. Yup, definitely will be coming back here

Ice cream is good but total rip off. Large comes in a kiddie cone. Yeah quality over quantity but don’t insult me when I order a large and get a kids cone.

Having grown up locally, I’ve been going here for years. The vast selection of ice cream is incredible. Whatever you can think of, they have. I once wanted an orange cream soda on my way into work and even though it’s not on the menu, they somehow created it. The lines can get long on hot, summer nights, but those lines usually move fast. The prices are slightly high, but you get what you pay for. The only problem is remembering to have enough cash on hand when you go since they don’t take credit. They also have numerous outdoor sitting areas. The atmosphere is extremely family-oriented.

My local ice cream spot — nearly perfect in every way. Turtle sundae: yes please! Even Irene couldn’t keep them down for long. I always know spring is here when I have my first cone of the season. I look forward to taking my son here for many years to cone — I mean come ;) BTW, the cakes are unreal. Just wish we had more than 1 summer birthday in the house.

Weirs has made their name through friendly service and the superior quality of they Ice Cream products. Recently adding frozen yogurt has been another great addition to a lengthy list of choices posted outside the establishment. The family owned and run spot is open from April till September(after labor day weekend) I took the 20 min drive to get a cone and wasn’t surprised to see the crowd outside on a Sunday night. Its usually the mark of a good spot, there was seating around the perimeter of the store and ample parking. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with samples of the product and giving us an idea of what the portions and most popular were. I went with the Rum and Raisin and Pistachio on a cone. There was a little essence of rum in the ice cream and the raisins were plump and sweet, basically balanced out very nicely. By the timeI got down to the pistachio my taste buds were shot, I couldn’t really taste the milder ice cream but discovered a generous helping of halved pistachios embedded in the scoop. As with most shelled pistachios there are a few bad nuts in the lot and I had a few sour bites. Didn’t really dampen my experience but made an impression, I couldn’t finish the whole thing in the end. I rate the service: 5 out of 5 Products 4 out of 5 due to the pistachio snafu Def worth the ride out to Salisbury mills to check it out.

I love weirs! They are right down the road and never disappoint. So many options, the«menu» can be confusing as there is a lot going on visually but I’m kinda a fan of that, a new surprise every time! My only disappointment is I am often craving weirs past 9 pm, I wish they were open till at least 10!

I don’t usually eat ice cream, but this home made ice cream was the best I had!(Pistachio and vanilla on a waffle cone, YUM) I gave it 4 stars because it’s cash only :-(otherwise, I would have given it 5! I will be visiting them again after my newfound love for ice cream lol

Huge fan… lots of unique and interesting sundaes, a great selection of flavors that changes annually, and easily my favorite ice cream in the region!

As a nostalgia hound, I’m smitten with this place for its signage alone. Add on to that the fact that I had my first rocky road cone here in years and the fact that it far surpassed even the most golden, sundappled childhood memories of Baskin Robbins really seals the deal. Plus that single scoop was massive for $ 2.75! I also am a big fan of the graphically confused, hyperinformative menu that shows you the actual size of all cones and their prices. This was my first visit to Weir’s, on the advice of a trusted guide, and I certainly hope it won’t be the last. I’m so happy to have kicked off the beginning of sunny, warm-weather season with a cone from this joint.

I can’t believe there arent a slew of reivews for this place. apparently its been in business for ages… sadly they close for the season, mid September, but they re-open each May with their wonderful homemade ice cream. It’s truly delicious but I find it very expensive considering there is so much great ice cream around. Its a nostalgic place though and there is a HUGE menu. Every time I go I notice something new. There is ice cream for all, sugar free too and toppings galore — they even have special ice cream for dogs. My dog loves it :)
